Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 181: Apologies

Betula Continent, Agate Great Plains, in the master bedroom of the main hall of the Highest Council of Lor City.

"Why no reply?" Lor looked at the communicator in his hand, feeling a slight doubt.

Logically speaking, once the results and hypotheses were approved, someone should have come to discuss reading pricing with him. He didn't think the wizards responsible for reviewing results and hypotheses would dare ignore the two articles he submitted.

"Hmm, perhaps the Great Wizard responsible for the review didn't dare to make a decision without permission and sent the two articles to Speaker Francis."

Lor pondered, "That doesn't seem right either. If that were the case, Speaker Francis should also have discussed with me!"

"Could it be that Speaker Francis became captivated by Microscope Witchcraft and forgot to respond?"

He was well aware of the high allure of advanced Microscope Witchcraft for wizards. Even bloodline wizards from the future had managed to create a high imitation called Bloodline Microscope.

It's worth mentioning that the Fifth Ring is the last stage where one can adjust the Meditation Technique and the attribute of the Origin Container.

Once promoted to the Sixth Ring, the domain and Origin Container become completely unified, leaving no possibility for adjustment.

Coincidentally, the Wizard Alliance currently has no Sixth-Ring Mages, allowing all wizards the opportunity to adjust their attributes.

Therefore, according to Lor's speculation, not to mention Bloodline Wizards, at least over half of the Elemental Mages would add an Earth Attribute Meditation Structure to their own Meditation Technique because of Microscope Witchcraft.

Among the remaining half, at least 30% had to reluctantly give up because their Witchcraft Position was used up and they couldn't learn Microscope Witchcraft.

The other 20% had a clear plan. In order not to disrupt it, they painfully abandoned Microscope Witchcraft.

"Speaker Francis is captivated, and other speakers are likely not much different. Looks like the establishment of my Wizard Tower will be delayed by a few days."

Lor curved his lips slightly, not too bothered by such unforeseen circumstances, and thought to himself, "I might as well take advantage of this free time to rest. I was exhausted in the Abyss."

Although he no longer needed sleep, it was undeniable that sleep greatly alleviated spiritual fatigue.

After transmitting messages to Agular, instructing him to notify him when the sub-professional guidance group sent by Ron and the ingredient handler arrived, Lor drifted off to sleep.

...

Two days later.

"Knock knock knock—"

A series of knocks startled Lor from his slumber.

Lor opened his eyes, stretched widely, dressed, and used nearly materialized spiritual power to open the door while striding towards the long table in the center of the bedroom, saying, "Mentor, you've arrived, please come in."

Outside the door, Agular nodded to the four Great Wizards beside him with a smile and walked into the bedroom amidst the madly envious gazes of the four.

"Lor, the sub-professional guidance group and ingredient handler sent on behalf of Speaker Ron have arrived."

Agular quickly walked to the side of the long table, looked at Lor sitting at the other end, and said, "Now the three group leaders and ingredient handler are outside the door. Do you need me to call them in?"

"I don't need to see the ingredient handler. Let them handle the ingredients properly." Lor shook his head slightly, "Just call one group leader in; I need to discuss the details of the Spatial Faction Mage Robe with them."

"Okay." Agular nodded, understanding the deeper meaning in Lor's words, glanced complicatedly at Lor, and turned to leave the bedroom.

Only now was he finally sure that Lor's attitude towards him hadn't changed much compared to before, and this made him slightly relieved.

Being a mentor to a speaker is surely an ultimate honor, but it's actually more of a burden.

If Lor's attitude towards him changed, he would become a complete laughingstock.

Now it seemed that such worries were unnecessary.

Watching Agular's departing back, Lor rubbed his temples helplessly.

The cause of his helplessness purely lay in how Agular still seemed a bit constrained in front of him, showing much restraint in his demeanor.

If he wanted to call someone, he could simply use spiritual transmission. Why bother going out again?

But what needed to be said had already been said; further persuasion would be meaningless. He could only hope the gap between them would gradually close over time.

As for why he didn't call the person himself, it was to establish the mentor's authority, letting the newcomers understand their respective standings.

Regarding people he valued, he never neglected such details.

While Lor was thinking, Agular quickly brought a golden-haired, beautiful-featured female wizard to Lor.

"Greetings, Speaker Lor." The female wizard stopped behind Agular, respectfully bowing to Lor.

Lor eradicated Fourth-tier Demons from Betula Continent, allowing many Legion Wizards to avoid great risks in defending against Fourth-tier Demon attacks, including her child.

The 'Demon-Slaying Day' established by Ron for Lor had now integrated into the lives of countless wizards and was gradually spreading to the commoners, directly enhancing Lor's prestige.

Until Lor achieved the position of Speaker, his prestige reached its peak, even surpassing Speaker Warren's prestige in Betula Continent.

Facing such an existence, her reverence and gratitude didn't need further elaboration.

"Mentor, you sit first." Lor first pulled out the first chair to his left, guiding Agular to sit down, then looked at the female wizard, saying in a calm tone, "Introduce yourself."
