Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 187: River of Time

After the Grand Council ended, Francis issued a series of announcements, which included the registration notice for Lor's Abyssal Wizard conjecture experiment.

Lor's conjecture is not suitable for public dissemination; only those talented apprentices with laboratories are allowed to register voluntarily, and resources will be allocated for their training.

Lor need not manage this matter, he only has to await the results.

After closing the Grand Council communication room, Lor browsed through the Continent Communication Device, found Levan's contact number, and initiated a communication request.

A moment later, the communication connected, and a light screen appeared.

In the light screen, Levan wore a red Great Wizard Robe, his face full of determination and composure.

"Mentor." Levan bowed respectfully to Lor.

"Hmm." Lor nodded, smiling as he asked, "How far have you gotten in understanding rune inheritance now? How many of Speaker Yassen's rune combination problems have you solved?"

After the mission to clear low-level demons from the Endless Sea was concluded, Levan returned with the legion.

He was still somewhat dissatisfied afterward, so he led a Fire Element Legion into the Abyss for further training for seventy years.

Upon his return once more, he was much more satisfied and made him Agular's assistant, assisting in handling the miscellaneous tasks of the Wizard Tower until now.

After nearly two hundred years of honing, Levan's mental state undoubtedly met the standard.

The only difficulty in forging the Origin Container now lay in whether his understanding of runes was adequate.

"Not yet." Levan shook his head with a bitter smile, "Grandfather tested me once two years ago, and I'm still stuck on the fifth rune combination problem. I have no idea how to tackle the latter three combination problems."

The rune combination problems he referred to were Fire Element rune analysis problems specially designed for him by Yassen.

If he could solve eight, he would be able to tackle all challenges in forging the Origin Container effortlessly.

Even solving just five, combined with a stable mind, provides a thirty percent chance of successfully forging the Origin Container.

For ordinary Great Wizards, facing this probability, as long as the Contribution Points and Spiritual Power met the standards, they would certainly be thrilled to take the gamble.

Even Levan had entertained this thought, because going further really was extremely difficult.

Unfortunately, Lor and Yassen wouldn't provide him any Divine Power Crystals, and his Spiritual Power is only just over forty thousand, making it impossible for him to forge the Origin Container.

"No need to rush; take your time; you still have eighteen hundred years to attempt," Lor comforted, "Your junior brothers and sisters are only at the Third Ring now; if they're not in a hurry, why should you be?"

As it stands now, Lor's other three students have also reached the Third Ring.

To reach this stage, they spent over a hundred years.

In terms of Spiritual Power, Lor wasn't stingy. When he accepted them as students, he had already helped enhance their Meditation Talent to the eighth degree.

But understanding the composition of runes wasn't so easy, especially after adding Space Runes, which made the entire model ten times more complicated.

Of course, with Lor as a guide and the students not lacking in intelligence, reaching the Third Ring is surely attainable.

As for the Fourth Ring, that would depend on fate.

A Spatial Mage attaining the Fourth Ring was at least five times more difficult than Levan achieving the Fourth Ring of Fire Element.

"Yes, Mentor." Levan responded, gratitude and lingering fear plain on his face.

Fortunately, when he encountered his mentor, he was already a Level Three Apprentice, and his Witchcraft Positions were used up.

Otherwise, the predicament of his junior brothers and sisters might have been repeated on him, which would have ended disastrously.

Despite the challenges, the juniors were still geniuses, and even if they trained in the Space Faction, there was hope for them to attain the Fourth Ring.

He was no genius; reaching his current position was entirely due to being nourished with the best resources and training.

If he were to train in the Space Faction, there might be no hope for achieving the Fourth Ring in his lifetime.

"Hmm, you no longer need other training now, so step down from the assistant position and focus wholeheartedly on rune research," Lor instructed.

"No need, Mentor, I believe that conducting rune research alongside management assistance aids my thinking better," Levan quickly refused.

"Okay, suit yourself." Lor nodded, then reminded him to be patient before hanging up the communication.

He has always been attentive to Levan's education, in hopes that this young fellow could rely on himself to reach the Fourth Ring.

Otherwise, depending on that Marvel to forcibly upgrade would leave his path severed.

Afterward, Lor then sent communication requests to his other three students one by one, guiding each of them through.

Upon finishing the guidance, he found Agular's communication number, hesitated for a moment, then decided against initiating the communication since he couldn't provide substantial assistance.

The path Agular pioneered was truly off the beaten path.

Even in the previous life, few players broke through the Fourth Ring, and none took Agular's path, leaving Lor clueless on how the path should be walked afterward.

"I wonder how far Mentor has researched now?" Lor pondered, "He still has over eight hundred years before his life limit, and if he hasn't found a path within seven hundred years, I'll suggest the Ice Seal method, and unseal it after I find that civilization to forcibly help him breakthrough to the Fourth Ring."

The so-called Ice Seal is an exceedingly cold Ice Element Witchcraft at the Fourth Ring level that seals a wizard's flesh to extend life.

While it can't extend life indefinitely, being in the extreme cold seal can at least increase the lifespan twenty-fold.

Agular has a hundred years of life left, and after sealing, it can be extended to two thousand years.

With two thousand years, he is absolutely confident he can find that civilization.
