Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 210: Speaker Sanchez

"Speaker? Me?" Sanchez instinctively took the Legislator Badge Lor handed him, his eyes fixed on Lor. The mad red gleam in his eyes diminished greatly, replaced by confusion and a hint of helplessness.

He originally thought that by relying on the unique promotion system of the Abyssal Wizards, he could at most secure a legislator seat. He never expected that Speaker Lor would directly nominate him for a Speaker position.

The gap between the two was like the difference between the Celestial Abyss.

"Yes." Lor nodded with a smile, "But to enjoy power means you must take on responsibility. Can you bear the responsibility of safeguarding the Wizard Plane?"

While Lor spoke, Francis took out the Continent Communication Device, accepting an urgent council invitation. He waited for everyone to gather while keeping an eye on the conversation between the two.

"That goes without saying." Sanchez immediately agreed.

His pursuit had always been to become the most dazzling existence; there wasn't anyone more dazzling on the Wizard Plane than the Speaker.

Now that Speaker Lor had offered him a ladder, how could he not accept it?

"Hmm, I should first discuss with you the circumstances the Wizard Plane will face in the future."

As Lor spoke, he glanced at Flynn beside him, ultimately deciding not to have him leave. He directly recounted to Sanchez matters that only a Speaker could know: "I see in the not-so-distant future, there will be..."

Flynn had already accrued enough Contribution Points to possibly advance to the Fifth Ring and officially become a Speaker, but as a Speaker-in-reserve, hearing this matter was permissible.

Lor spelled out all the crises the Wizard Alliance would soon face, then looked earnestly at Sanchez and said, "And you are one of our planned candidates to deal with that Silver Wolf, provided you can advance to the Sixth Ring before it arrives."

"Is that Silver Wolf a Tier Six or Tier Seven being?" Sanchez asked, voice mingling lightness with excitement.

Based on his previous speculation on bloodline classification ranking he inferred, he surmised that Tier Seven compared to Tier Six might undergo a qualitative change similar to the transition from Tier Three to Tier Four.

However, he could clearly feel the strength of his physical body and was fully aware of his capabilities.

Even as a Third-Ring himself, he could easily overpower Fourth-Ring Wizards. Upon reaching the Sixth Ring, effortlessly crushing a Tier Seven life form also seemed achievable.

"It is a Tier Six life form, but it possesses cards granted by a Tier Seven, allowing it to unleash three Tier Seven-level attacks or defenses."

Lor replied, "Of course, it most likely won't do so. There's a higher chance it will only release attacks and defenses barely touching the Tier Seven threshold, which will greatly conserve its energy, enabling more usage."

"Speaker Lor, you haven't the slightest idea how powerful I am now." Sanchez grinned, "Even against a Sixth-Ring Wizard, I am confident in engaging in a contest or two. Once I break through to the Fifth Ring, should that Silver Wolf dare come, I will suppress it with ease."

When he heard it was only a Tier Six life form, he fully relaxed.

He had confidence in suppressing even three Tier Seven-level attacks, let alone a mere Tier Seven card.

"Speaker Francis, who was speaking just moments ago?" Jerald couldn't contain his curiosity within the meeting room and directly asked.

The light screen of the Continent Communication Device wasn't aimed at Sanchez, so the seventeen Speakers who'd accepted the emergency meeting invitation couldn't see who was conversing with Lor.

The voice was extremely unfamiliar, as though they'd never heard it before.

But how could a wizard whose voice was unfamiliar to them suddenly possess the ability to contend with a Sixth-Ring Wizard?

"A true Fourth-Ring Abyssal Wizard, Sanchez Nolan," Francis answered.

"A Fourth-Ring dares to contend with a Sixth-Ring?" Jerald raised an eyebrow, "This little fellow is really quite..."

He was about to call Sanchez arrogant, but before he could finish, he saw Francis raise a hand to quiet him, halting his words immediately.

At the same time, Lor's voice echoed once more.

"In your full state, your body constitution is 1,280 times that of an ordinary Fourth-Ring Bloodline Wizard, and your perception should not surpass 160,000 miles, slightly higher than a typical Fifth-Ring Bloodline Wizard. The rest is roughly at that level."

Beside him, Lor looked at Sanchez with a smirk and asked, "Am I correct?"

Silence.

A deathly silence.

Not only was Sanchez silent, but all the Speakers in the meeting room were silent as well.

Goodness, what did they just hear?

Were they imagining things?

A physique 1,280 times that of a Fourth-Ring Wizard, could that be real?

The Speakers were questioning their reality, while Sanchez was unprepared to find that before he'd displayed his strength, Lor already knew everything about him.

It was truly unbelievable.

Recalling what Lor had first said when speaking of future crisis, which Sanchez initially overlooked, he turned to Lor and rather hesitantly asked, "You... can you foresee the future?"

Foreseeing the future was something exceedingly strange to any wizard, for until now, no wizard had discovered even a trace of Space-Time runes.

Moreover, from the detailed descriptions by Speaker Lor, the foreseen future was incredibly clear, not like the half-baked snippets from the Goddess of Fate, making it all the more startling.

"Yes." Lor nodded, smiling, "However, I can only see the future that remains unchanged by me; as for those altered, I cannot see clearly."

"Ah, you've been advancing all sorts of wizard systems, including the Abyssal Wizards, the Plane Group, and the Energy Furnace..." Sanchez suddenly realized, it was all because this man could predict the future.
