My Disciples are Too Idiotic

Chapter 187: Save My Dog's Life! (7k for subscriptions)_3

"..."

Little Boss and his gang had really taken playing this game to a whole new level. Everyone else was hard at work hunting Black Wolf Demonic Beasts, but they were off in the distance cooking food. Their specialty? Black Wolf Demonic Beast meat. Judging by the pile of bones at their feet, they had already eaten quite a bit.

Man alive!

"Run!" Dung Beetle shouted, then charged over, grabbed a large slice of Black Wolf Demonic Beast meat from the Barbecue Grill, and bolted.

Little Boss and the others, sitting under the tree, hadn't even processed what was happening when they saw the tree trunk split open by a giant python, which then rolled in with crushing force.

Holy crap! What the hell is that thing?

The group didn't even have a chance to react before they were crushed beneath the python's scales.

And just like that, the players were team-wiped.

When Little Boss and his gang emerged from the Respawn Point, they were all still dumbfounded.

They were just eating some Demonic Beast meat, and a giant python showed up out of nowhere and rolled over them?

"Good lord, everyone's here!" Old Mo said with a smile as he watched Little Boss and the others appear. "Dung Beetle sent you out, didn't he?"

Dung Beetle? Didn't he just grab the barbecue and run off? Little Boss still hadn't snapped back to reality. Looking at the numerous players gathered before him, a dreadful premonition suddenly surfaced from deep within.

Crap! That giant python couldn't have been riled up by Dung Beetle, could it? Can that son of a gun never stay put without causing trouble?

"You guys... too?" Little Boss asked darkly.

Everyone nodded grimly. Not only had they been sent out, but they were also now hesitating about whether or not to go back in.

"Seriously, what kind of heaven-infuriating, earth-enraging deed did that Dung Beetle commit to eliminate so many players single-handedly?"

"He even swiped my barbecue as he left, that bastard!"

"I'm numb, man! That python just crushed down on us. My head got flattened!"

"I just want to know what on earth he did to attract such a terrifying Demonic Beast to chase him."

Among the Life Players, Dung Beetle was truly one of a kind. Once he started making trouble, absolutely no one could stop him. Even Non-player Characters feared him. Now that he had a giant python on his tail, who knew what more terrifying beings he might provoke in the future?

"ROAR—"

Suddenly, a roar that resonated through the celestial dome erupted from within the Back Mountain. The players had heard this sound before. Even from a considerable distance, it had injured them. Now that the sound rang out again, the players sensed that something was terribly wrong.

"Little Boss, do you think the Demonic Beast making that sound... could it be because of Dung Beetle?" Flourishing Flowers asked with a strange expression.

This sentiment was shared by many other players. It seemed like only Dung Beetle could orchestrate such chaos.

It's just so freaking unbelievable! One player, single-handedly causing the entire vast Dense Forest to have no peace. Why don't you just die and be done with it? You're preventing other players from playing the game properly. What are you even after?

The players stood there stupefied, not knowing what to say.

"Let's go! Head back to the Forest Sea first," Junlin said thoughtfully. "We must get the Reward for the new Task. Let's find a way to kill some lone Demonic Beasts. That's One Thousand Contribution Points right there."

Hearing this, the players' fighting spirit reignited. With One Thousand Contribution Points at stake, were they just going to stand by and watch them slip away?

Given Dung Beetle's monster-clearing speed, it's likely all the Demonic Beasts in this Forest Sea will be cleared out soon. If that happened, they might not catch a single one! If One Thousand Contribution Points all went to Dung Beetle, wouldn't their trip be a total loss?

Just then, a figure emerged from the Respawn Point. Daytime Alms strode out with the aura of the Qi Cultivation Realm and proudly declared, "I, Hu Han San, have finally arrived!"

As he came out, he saw all the players gathered together, which piqued his curiosity.

What's going on here? Why is everyone clustered together?

"Let's go!" Junlin couldn't be bothered with Daytime Alms and led the group straight towards the Back Mountain Forest Sea.

The other players quickly followed, apparently planning to group up to hunt Demonic Beasts.

Daytime Alms also hurried after them, catching up to Flourishing Flowers and asking, "What's happening? Why do you all look so upset?"

"How could we not be upset? The Task difficulty is nightmare level now," Chaotic Dance Steps said grimly.

Nightmare level difficulty? Daytime Alms was stunned. He had just been messing around in the Realm Trial, hadn't he? He finally reached the Qi Cultivation Realm and came to join them for the Task, only to be told the difficulty had increased?

"Dung Beetle, that son of a gun! If I see him, I'll definitely break his legs!" Flourishing Flowers cursed, filled with rage. "He's really in for it this time. With over eight hundred players wanting to beat him up, it'll be a miracle if he survives!"

Dung Beetle? What did he do? Daytime Alms was even more confused.

Nevertheless, he followed the players into the Back Mountain Forest, rushing headlong into its depths. Their luck wasn't too bad; they encountered a few wounded, solitary Demonic Beasts.

For just those few Demonic Beasts, the players went berserk, charging forward with bloodshot eyes. Hundreds of players surrounded and attacked just a few Demonic Beasts.

Seeing this made Daytime Alms' scalp tingle.

What in the world is going on?

"Who's good at climbing trees? Get up there and see which direction the commotion Dung Beetle caused is coming from."
