What?!
The Red-robed Ghost is even more terrifying than the Demon Emperor?
Doesn't that mean the Red-robed Ghost surpasses the Tribulation Realm?
Everyone wore expressions of horror, especially Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life, since it was the Red-robed Ghost that had chased them here.
If what Dung Beetle said was correct, then the Red-robed Ghost was definitely blocking the way.
Blocking this side of the Wilderness and preventing others from getting close? Is she trying to wipe them all out here? No. If the Red-robed Ghost wanted to kill people, it seemed she could have done so already. Why didn't she just come here and attack?
"Why haven't we seen Old Mo and Junlin?" Extra Large Chili Pepper asked, furrowing his brow. "It seems we're just missing those two now."
"Old Mo is trapped in a Cave. I contacted him once before, but now I don't know his situation," Iron-blooded War Hero said solemnly. "As for Junlin, when it comes to Escaping, he should be the least of our concerns. Don't forget he's the only assassin among us. Speed is his advantage."
That's right. Compared to the rest of them, Old Mo and Junlin weren't lacking in Power. After all, Old Mo had always been number one on the player Combat Power List and had never dropped from that position. And Junlin? For several updates now, he had consistently ranked in the Top Ten, the strongest assassin among players. These two were definitely the ones they needed to worry about the least.
Wanwan sat to one side, also using her Communication Ring to contact Old Mo and ask if he had emerged from the Cave.
In the Communication Ring's display, Old Mo was covered in blood, looking as if he had clawed his way out of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. The background was no longer a Cave but a Dense Forest.
Such a sight would horrify anyone, wouldn't it?
However, seeing it was Wanwan calling, Old Mo smiled and said, "Where are you now? Do you want me to come and protect you?"
"I've already reached the gathering spot. Now only you and Junlin are missing," Wanwan replied, making sure to show Old Mo Dung Beetle and the others on her end.
"Everyone's there already? It seems I've slowed everyone down." Old Mo nodded. "Wait for me. I'll be there soon."
With that, he looked ahead, then, in full view of everyone watching the display, leaped out and seized a Demonic Creature with a wolf's head and a body of bloody mist.
"Excuse me, could you give me directions to the Wilderness?" Old Mo stared at the Demonic Creature he held and asked patiently. "And which way do I go to leave this forest?"
Upon seeing the creature Old Mo had captured, Half-Leaf and the others' expressions suddenly changed.
Wasn't this one of the wolf pack that had been chasing them earlier? Back then, they hadn't been able to kill these Demonic Creatures, no matter what they tried; it had taken them considerable effort just to fend them off. But now, seeing Old Mo easily capture one, the three of them sensed something was off. So this wolf pack only responds to brute force, not persuasion? No! Could it be that they're only vulnerable to physical attacks, and Magic attacks are ineffective?!
The Demonic Creature, the wolf, looked in a certain direction in terror. Old Mo followed its gaze and nodded in satisfaction. "Not bad, not bad. Since you've shown me the way, I'll let you go."
With that, he casually tossed the wolf-headed Demonic Creature aside and, with a confident air, sprinted in that direction.
Wait! That direction was indeed towards the Wilderness, but the Red-robed Ghost was blocking the exit!
Dung Beetle and the others also realized this and subconsciously began to worry for Old Mo.
Wanwan hastily warned him through the Communication Ring, "Old Mo, there's a Boss in the direction you're heading! This Boss is very strong. Be careful!"
"Don't worry, I'll be there soon. You don't have to worry!" Saying this, Old Mo immediately ended the call, his eyes filled with unwavering determination.
He raced towards the exit of the Dense Forest and soon spotted a crimson figure standing quietly there.
Subconsciously, Old Mo stopped.
The Red-robed Ghost seemed to sense the movement behind her and turned slightly. But the moment she saw Old Mo, she felt an immense, murderous aura.
Unlike the others who had only fled, this blood-soaked man posed a slight threat to her. Indeed! This man looked as if he had crawled out of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. He must have slaughtered countless creatures to spontaneously condense such a baleful aura.
"Hey, hey, let me through, please." Old Mo was anxious to see his girlfriend Wanwan and had no intention of fighting this Boss known as the Red-robed Ghost here.
The Red-robed Ghost also seemed hesitant to attack. After Half a Moment, she uncharacteristically shifted slightly to the side, creating just enough space for Old Mo to pass.
"Thanks," Old Mo said and dashed past.
The gust of wind from him passing stirred the Red-robed Ghost's black hair, momentarily revealing a pale yet exquisitely delicate face.
Unfortunately, Old Mo didn't see it.
After Old Mo had gone, the Red-robed Ghost moved back to her original position.
She could indeed go into the Wilderness to kill, but for some reason, she felt an indescribable threat emanating from that place! It was as if the moment she set foot in the Wilderness, she would be targeted by that threat. She knew that not even King Kong could make her feel such a level of danger.
Therefore, with the situation in the Wilderness uncertain, she dared not enter rashly. The ability of these outsiders to secure a Region for themselves there already indicated their substantial Power.
Until she had a clearer understanding, the Red-robed Ghost wouldn't act rashly. It wouldn't be worth it if the potential losses outweighed the gains.
As Old Mo hurried through the Dense Forest towards the Plant Array, another group of people, equally exhausted, was descending a nearby mountaintop.
"We've made it! We finally found the Wilderness!"
"Senior Brother Luo, look over there! That vast green area in the Wilderness must be the territory secured by the Profound Yellow Sect, right?"
"It should be. But why are there so many people here?"
"We can't worry about that now! Let's head over there first!"
Yes, this group was the team of Disciples from the Great Dream Immortal Sect. They had entered the Secret Realm with over a thousand members, but now only a few hundred remained. They had suffered heavy losses.
Immediately, Luo Yuan contacted Dung Beetle, Old Mo, and the rest, sending each of them a private message.
Everyone was somewhat surprised to receive Luo Yuan's message.
What's going on? Luo Yuan and his group made it here too?
King of Spraying King Pen Duanchang explained, "Brother Xu told us to meet up with the people from the Great Dream Immortal Sect. They're our allies, after all."
Since Xu Nian had given the instruction, they had no reason to object.
They were all on the same side, after all!
When Old Mo arrived, he immediately sat down to rest. The long journey had drained much of his stamina.
"Hey, Old Mo, what happened to you? How many did you kill? Your clothes are completely soaked in blood," Dung Beetle asked, leaning beside him.
Old Mo explained, "I appeared inside a Cave. It was filled with Spidermen, and many others who had entered the Secret Realm before me had also turned into Spidermen. They attacked me, so I had no choice but to fight back. After I battled my way out, I came straight here."
"What about the Red-robed Ghost? Didn't she try to stop you?" Half-Leaf anxiously inquired.
Old Mo shook his head.
That Boss seemed quite reasonable to him. She said she wouldn't block his path, and she kept her word. Besides, she didn't seem dangerous at all.
Extra Large Chili Pepper wondered aloud, "That doesn't seem right. The Red-robed Ghost chased us for so long and is still stubbornly blocking the exit. Why wouldn't she attack Old Mo?"
"Is it possible that Old Mo is too strong, and even the Red-robed Ghost is wary of him?" Dung Beetle joked.
Come to think of it, that was a real possibility. Among them, Old Mo possessed the Strongest Power, fully capable of taking on a Boss single-handedly. The Red-robed Ghost likely sensed the threat he posed, which was why she hadn't attacked him. There was no other way to explain why the Red-robed Ghost would guard the exit yet refrain from attacking.
"Dung Beetle, we finally found you all!" Luo Yuan approached from behind, his face ecstatic, leading his junior martial brothers and sisters through rows of peculiar plants as they ran over.
"We nearly died on the way here! You have no idea what we went through. It was unbelievably tough…"
