Dante handed Luna some cooked monster meat, the wolf woman tried a bite, causing her blue eyes to widen in shock, exclaiming. ''This is delicious, master!''
''I know,'' he replied, chuckling. ''Now let's eat before resting for the night.''
''Why can't we go back to the Domain?'' Lilith asked from the side.
''Because I want to keep an eye on the slaughter and travel there once we taken out every human inside,'' he answered.
The blonde's head tilted. ''Can I go rest in there please?''
''Go for it, Lily,'' he answered. ''I'm going to the fortress, the Creepers have wiped out the wall guards.''
Following that, Dante vanished into the shadows, heading for the Darkmoore castle. The women watched this and Lilith sighed. ''We need to go with him Wolf.''
''My names Luna,'' the brown-skinned woman snapped. ''Not Wolf.''
The two began laughing before they followed him. When he closed in on the wall he used his mana to slingshot him onto the ramparts, landing with a quiet thud. Just then, Luna shifted into her wolf from while Lilith did the same thing, turning into a raven that flew high above the fortress.
Dante sent a wave of mana across the fortress and it's courtyards realizing his monsters were closing in on the inside. Rotlings overrun the kitchen killing everyone inside as Creepers picked off the Darkmoore soldiers that guarded the entrances. This put a smile on his face as a notification popped up.
[Death Points: 55,000>60,000]
When Dante saw this, he continued toward the entrance as Luna prowled the wall and Lilith watched for any reinforcements. The Death Wyvern flew high above, allowing him to see in all directions. His vision connected with the monsters giving him a view of a massive dust cloud headed their way.
Just then, Liliths voice echoed in his mind. 'Death! We have several S-Ranks incoming and their much stronger then we're.'
His eyes narrowed, prompting him to question. 'How long until they get here?'
'Eleven hours.'
Dante smiled at this, causing him to order the monsters into the fortress. ''We have enough time to turn this into a death castle, let's get to work.''
Following those words, they dismissed hiding and washed through the halls and corridors. Killing everyone inside. He moved like a blur, killing every human he came across only to stop when the castles commander appeared, blocking his stab toward a young woman who tried to cast a spell at him.
''Get back, fiend!'' the older man shouted.
Dante jumped back to clear some space from the B-Rank knight, chuckling as a wicked smile stretched across his face as the Death Lion lunged out of a portal behind them. The woman was instantly killed by being bit in half just before the man was slashed by the Death Panther.
He watched the two monsters circle the bodies as he rewarded them. ''Eat them and kill even more.''
The two monsters rushed off, vanishing into the giant castle as Luna's howl echoed across the land, he felt her destroying the cannons on the wall, Lilith appeared in her raven form, landing beside him, transforming back. Her red eyes glowed with excitement as she suggested. ''Why not let the Death Tyrants deal with the S-Ranks?''
''Too risky and I don't want to lose them in a pointless fight,'' Dante responded, cutting down three soldiers that tried to ambush him.
As they walked through the labyrinthine depths of the fortress, their footsteps echoed off the cold walls. The air grew heavy with the scent of damp stone and enchantments as they neared the heart of the stronghold, the vault, that held the wealth the Darkmoore Kingdom has gathered during the war.
His red eyes full of greed, locked onto the massive, rune-etched metal door that barred their path. The intricate wards pulsed faintly with arcane energy, a silent warning of the protections woven into the steel. Without hesitation, he raised his hands, fingers crackling with red mana that swirled like liquid fire.
His lips curled into a predatory grin as he unleashed a barrage of a dozen Death Bolts, each one a spear of dark, corrosive energy. The bolts slammed into the vault door with a deafening roar, the tendrils burrowing through the security wards like worms through rotten wood.
Sparks flew, and the wards flickered, their once-impenetrable glow dimming as the death magic tore through their defenses. Lilith, standing at his side, gasped, her eyes wide with a mixture of shock and awe at the sheer audacity of his assault. The air around her shimmered as she regained her composure and continued watching.
Once the hole was big enough, Dante stopped casting spells and realized they could climb through but stopped himself. He summoned a Death Ghoul, sending it through the hole only for it to be oblitrated. This made him laugh before opening a portal on the other said that sent the defences wild.
Blasts tried to dispatch the intruder but it was magic, so it was having no effect. After a few minutes, the attacks stop allowing him to send in more Ghouls to loot the vault. Dante opened another portal and stepped through only to appear at the center of a horde of gold coins.
It was like a dune in a desert causing Dante to suck everything into the storage ring while the creatures threw stuff into the treehouse thanks to a portal that was opened. Once everything was gone, Luna appeared at the entrance. ''Master! Two S-Ranks are approaching.''
''Damn,'' he muttered, sucking all the undead back into the Domain.
Dante then opened a portal to the treehouse and spoke to the women. ''Get inside before they get here. I'll get away from the fortress.''
The women slipped into the realm, and after their departure, he cloaked himself in death mana, masking his presence amid the carnage to hide from human detection. He sprinted through the castle's corridors, ignoring the heavy aura that enveloped the stronghold, focused solely on reaching the courtyard.
As he burst outside, explosions shattered the air around him, and a blonde woman appeared nearby. He thrust out his hand, unleashing a barrage of twelve Death Blasts. The stranger, caught off guard, summoned a mana shield to counter the assault. He continued casting magic while rushing up the wall.
Following that, the second S-Rank appeared, casting a powerful water spell that hit him in the shoulder, he hissed in pain but jumped over the wall, opening a portal before vanishing, leaving the humans confused thanks to not finding a body. Dante crashed into a clearing outside the treehouse, the magic burning through his body.
He opened his eyes, the building looming nearby, but his body refused to move. Suddenly, two figures raced toward him. Lilith slid to a stop at his side, her magic flaring to life, weaving through his wounds to heal them. The pain faded, his strength trickling back as her healing magic worked its way through him.
''I'll go scout out the area, they won't be able to sense me,'' the blonde revealed.
Moments later, Lilith stood up and transformed into her raven form, flying through a tiny portal he opened for her. Once she was gone, Luna helped him back to the treehouse to rest until he recovered.

Lilith flew out of the portal and soared into the sky before looking at the fortress below. Blood covered the courtyard but the bodies were gone. She landed above the main gate as the Darkmoore soldiers marched up to the entrance. A blonde woman landed in front of the forces and exclaimed in a grim tone. ''We believe an assassin from the Everwest Kingdom killed everyone inside!''
''What do you mean? Some of our famalies were here!'' a soldier shouted.
She giggled at this, thinking. 'I remember the Rotlings eating some children and got killed by the Ghouls for being greedy.'
Lilith continued to sit there watching the humans who had no idea she was there. A second figure appeared, this time it was a young man, his face pale as he spoke to the soldier. ''Everyone's dead captain, there isn't a single survivor. 20,000 people gone.''
The moment the human spoke, a wave of urgency swept through the crowd, soldiers flooding the fortress in a chaotic surge. The two S-Rank warriors who delivered the grim news were swiftly joined by their elite comrades, their voices rallying the troops with steely resolve.
Lilith, her presence cloaked, felt a quiet relief wash over her, they hadn't named Dante. With a subtle shift, she transformed into her raven form, black wings cutting through the air as she took flight. Her violet eyes locked onto the powerful S-Ranks below, trailing them silently to monitor their every move.
She flew around posts and entered the castle before landing on a beam as two guards spoke about her. ''Did you hear? The Death Witch has vanished, the king sent the hereos to slay here but they said she vanished,'' one man said.
