Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire

Chapter 364: It just feels right *

As they pushed against each other while intensifying their kiss, Cynthia placed her hand between their bodies to grab the front of his shirt. She then yanked it, sending him falling onto the sofa.

She fell with him, landing atop his body as the kiss continued with hardly a sound from Caius to acknowledge the fall. The sofa was insanely comfortable, so he might as well have been falling onto soft, fluffy clouds. And Cynthia's body atop his would never be a source of complaint.

Their lips pulled apart at some point with both their eyes still closed as they let their tongues out of their mouths to tangle and dance around one another before Cynthia grew hungrier and sucked Caius's tongue into her mouth like she really wished to gobble him up.

She swallowed every bit of spit he had produced already, drinking it down like it was the most refreshing water she had ever been fortunate enough to drink. And then she sought more, digging even deeper into his mouth.

Cynthia's hand trailed down his chest, undoing a few buttons of his shirt so she could push her hand into it and stroke her fingers across his pecks, taking in the feel of his skin—that was as perfect as his face—and the way his musculature lay underneath. Tightly woven, firm, and packing more power than meets the highly heightened senses.

Caius had both of his hands on her waist now, flexing his fingers against her body in rhythm with how their bodies were undulating against one another. And then, he let one of his hands wander, touching against the slit of Cynthia's gown so he could pull it only slightly aside and let his hand move underneath so he could stroke his hand across the soft smoothness of her skin directly.

Caius's touch got Cynthia moaning into their kiss as her entire body, subjected to body-tingling pleasure. There was a brief moment of 'weakness' that Caius quickly capitalized on as he seized control of the tongue-tangling session, and took the dance into Cynthia's mouth.

Cynthia returned stronger than ever but just as she was about to wrest control from Caius's tongue, he shifted focus from their tongues to their lips instead. He took each of Cynthia's lips in turn, sucking on them much to her delight. But it only kept her at bay for a while. Soon, they were back to a dance of tongues and Cynthia again claimed the upper hand.

Caius accepted to follow her lead, focusing more on what his hand was feeling; The arch of her ass which was still scantily covered by a piece of underwear.

Caius didn't mind the underwear all that much. He just let his hand glide across its silky smoothness while taking the occasional deliberate squeeze of the supple flesh of Cynthia's ass.

His actions caused thrills of pleasure to travel incredibly hard through Cynthia's body. The only times Cynthia had felt pleasure and might have been comparable to this were the other times her body had been touched by Caius but those still paled when compared to this moment.

Cynthia began to rock against Caius's body and it didn't take long before she could no longer ignore the hardness that was pressing against her body. She let out a gasp and slowed the intensity of the kiss as her mind wandered;

It had been a long road for Cynthia to get here.

To Caius, it might have only been a few weeks of silence between them but for her, it had been an anguish of thoughts. Where it was her considerations of turning away from the feeling—from the way her heart jumped at just the sight of his face—that caused her the most pain.

This consideration to turn away from how she felt about Caius was born of her experiences over the decades she had lived thus far. They were born of principles so set in place that the very idea that she could turn away from them at all, was impressive in its own right.

In any case, no one knew how much of a journey it had been for her to get here than Cynthia herself. And it had her asking herself; Did she want to take that final step right now?

She had spent decades turning away suitors, both those invited by her family because she was of marriageable age and those whom she met out in the world— during her services to the Acheron Empire.

She turned them away not because she was completely uninterested in the concept of a relationship, or because they were all undesirable—a statistical impossibility—but rather because she didn't… want them. It was that simple and also that complicated. She had just never thought she was ready and had always hoped that when she was ready, she'd take the time to savor that moment. That she'd take the time to savor that choice.

If she had agonized on Caius's behalf, Cynthia had to accept that she was now ready. However, he wasn't exactly who she had thought she'd be ready for when she had been turning away the others.

Physically, he was more desirable than anyone she had ever seen—his looks were one thing about him Cynthia was convinced was unmatched in its beauty—but what of everything else? What of his Magic Circle? What of the fact that he was still a Student— the fact that he was her Student?

Cynthia had already decided over the past few weeks of agonizing that none of that mattered. The past weekend especially proved that, if given the time to mature, Caius would soon outclass anybody else in regard to Magic Circles. Hell, he was already at the Fourth Circle.

Cynthia hadn't had someone like Caius in mind when she considered ever being ready but he had outclassed any expectations and requirements she might have had.

So why rush it?

If she had taken the time to wait for this moment—for him—to find her, then couldn't she wait to know him just a little more before they took that final step?

It was almost painful how much her body craved him though. Every flex of his fingers on her ass sent jolts of pleasure to the very depths of her synapses and threatened to rob her of all reason until only lust was left to direct her actions and her thoughts— at least what would be left of it at that point where she'd be driven by the most basal of instincts.

She really wanted to have self-control to at least request a breather so she'd not be so steeped in pleasure and be able to think but she just let out a moan and resumed her kiss from where she had left off.

With one hand in Caius's shirt, touching his pecs, Cynthia stretched her other hand down and she began to wiggle it into the nonexistence space between her and Caius's lower halves. But just then, Caius pushed up against her and his arm went around her waist in a strong grip as he flipped them over so she lay on the bed instead.

In this changed position, he no longer had his hand on her ass and the pressure of his hardening cock against her crotch was lessened and less insistent. The change in position had also separated their lips and paused their kiss.

Cynthia's eyes were slightly confused as she stared up at Caius, wondering what may have caused this pause from him, and saw that he was smiling down at her. He raised one hand and trailed his fingers down the bit of cleavage that her gown allowed, looking down at it as though mesmerized before his purple eyes returned to her face.

"Take it slow?" He asked.

Now Cynthia looked taken aback. It was as though Caius had read her mind. She could tell the intent in that question of his was the same one she had in her head but her horny body wouldn't let her actually voice out;

That they hold off just a bit on going all the way.

Still, because Caius was the one requesting this, Cynthia couldn't help but need more clarification.

"Why?" She asked.

Caius took one of her hands then and worked his fingers into hers while keeping his eyes on her face as he shrugged.

"I don't really know," he said, "It just feels right."

Of course, Caius hadn't known what Cynthia was thinking. It was just that his mind was still on the train of thought he had been on while outside with Kaya and the others. The thoughts that maybe, sometimes, it's best to start things off on a more honest note. And keep the sex for after his lover knew what he was.

He wasn't ready to show Cynthia Kragsten what he was. And he didn't have to be ready. Because he wasn't impatient. There was a lot tied to him having lovers and having their blood to feed on but Caius liked to think he was doing more than just acquiring lovers;

He was gaining partners.

And partners trust one another.

Cynthia searched his eyes and she found them sincere. With a beautiful smile, she collared his neck and pulled him down. The intensity of their kiss lessened but the intimacy skyrocketed as they let each other be steeped in one another's presence totally…

… Even if they kept their clothes on all through.
