Immortality begin with Alchemy Grandmaster

Chapter 833

In a deep courtyard, a stern-looking middle-aged man wore a troubled expression, his gaze occasionally falling on an orchid room as he sighed lightly.

Outside the courtyard, urgent footsteps suddenly echoed.

Soon after, a young girl hurriedly ran in.

Her little face was round and rosy, and her adorably chubby cheeks were full of joy.

"Father, I've discovered that the rumored land of the Immortal Clans indeed exists, mother can be saved!"

The middle-aged man shook his head, "Ranran, give up! Your mother is beyond cure through any medicine. Instead of causing more trouble, spend more time with her, let her peacefully live out her last two years."

The young girl's round face now showed an unusual stubbornness.

"I won't!"

Facing those determined eyes, the middle-aged man's expressionly softened despite his initial anger.

"Tell me the location, and I'll send someone to find the Immortal Clans."

The girl smiled, "Mortals can't find it, I have to go myself!"

...

In the snowy wilderness, a sparse group of people and horses trudged against the storm.

The beast pulling the cart snorted warm air, unwilling to move forward.

Voices from the attendants called from behind, "Miss, we can't go any further, ahead is the legendary Death Ice Sea."

The leading girl was wrapped tightly in a fluffy white coat.

Upon hearing these words, she waved a little hand.

"No, we must keep going, only by crossing the Death Ice Sea can we truly see the Immortal Clans."

The attendants, helpless, could only obey her command to proceed.

However, the heavy snow buried them, the cold wind cut to the bone, and their progress was difficult; their vision increasingly impaired.

It was noon, yet the sky inexplicably darkened.

Whoosh...

The wind rose up, seemingly from nowhere.

A blizzard suddenly assailed the caravan, scattering everyone.

When the leading Martial Arts Grandmaster finally gathered most of the party, a horrifying realization struck.

"Miss Xie is missing!"

...

"I must find the Immortal Clans!"

"I must save my mother!"

"It's just ahead, just ahead!"

The girl was shivering with cold, her lips quivering, her teeth chattering incessantly.

But all around, the landscape was a vast white; where was the fabled land of the Immortals?

The girl wandered alone on the ice field, driven by an obsession, yet growing more lost as she went.

Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of a red light out of the corner of her eye.

She rushed toward it, the distance closing, until the source of the red light gradually came into focus.

It was evidently a large dog with fur like flames!

With its regal bearing, it stood atop the white ice.

It quietly stood there on the ice field, its golden eyes fixed on the approaching girl.

"Big dog, do you know... ah!"

As she ran and asked, she lost her footing and fell into an ice cave.

Her delicate body kept sinking.

The icy liquid around her swallowed her up.

This was no icy field, but a vast lake, frozen over by extreme cold.

Mortals, in ignorance, named it the Death Ice Sea.

The Golden-eyed Red Dog remained still at the lakeside, watching the girl sink until she vanished from sight.

It was unknown how much time passed.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a treasure's light shot skyward.

Afterward, crackling sounds ensued.

The vast ice layer collapsed and shattered, and amidst the undulating waves, an unconscious girl, frozen into an ice block, floated up cradling a Bright Pearl.

The Golden-eyed Red Dog glanced at the sky, finally deciding to move.

It walked over the waves with ease, reaching the girl.

It grabbed her, flipped her onto its back with a backward toss.

Without determining direction, the Golden-eyed Red Dog carried the girl northward.

With its slow stride, immense warmth emanated, steadily melting the ice on its back, and the girl's eyelashes fluttered, showing signs of awakening.

Not long after they'd departed, a Glint abruptly descended upon the spot where the treasure light had emerged.

It was a beautiful woman.

Reaching the spot, she dashed into the previously broken ice lake without hesitation.

A moment later, she flew back out.

The woman's face showed amazement and uncertainty.

"That's not right, that treasure light clearly belongs to the Natal Magic Item of the celestial ancestor, the Canglong Treasure Pearl. With the ancestor's passing, it vanished. How did it emerge, only to mysteriously disappear again?"

"Could it have been taken by someone?"

Considering this possibility, the woman displayed a look of Evil Qi. How could the sect's valuable treasure be lost outside!

She rode the Flying Sword skyward, rapidly searching the vicinity of the ice lake frantically.

Even venturing into the storm, she forcibly searched within.

But there was no result, no result, still no result!

Suddenly looking back, the woman lowered her gaze; a red figure was methodically progressing on the vast ice and snow.

Thud!

The beautiful woman landed with a resonant thump, her Qi Power intensifyed, and a longsword aimed toward the red glow.

Yet, upon seeing clearly, her expression softened.

A girl clutching a white treasure bead, now listlessly sitting on a red dog.

"Big dog, did you save me?"

"Where are you taking me?"

"I need to find the Immortals, they can save my mother, can you take me to them?"

The girl's words seemed like a dream.

But upon seeing the beautiful woman descend from the sky, her dazed look vanished.

"Are you an Immortal?"

The beautiful woman stepped closer, fixing her gaze on the girl, her eyes shining with strange light.

"I am not an Immortal, but I am probably the so-called Immortal you are looking for."
