I Contracted All Ancient Divine Artifacts

Chapter 120: Punishment Knight

"One person? Or a billion?" The landlady chuckled flirtatiously.

Han Zhan raised a single finger.

The landlady stopped laughing and gave him a regretful and puzzled glance.

"If you want to sleep alone, why not find a cheap inn? Why come to the Nightingale Inn? Do you have more money than you know what to do with?"

"Just tell me the price," Han Zhan replied.

While speaking, Han Zhan pulled out the pouch he had taken from Andrew.

The landlady held up two fingers towards him.

"Regular stay, two gold coins for one night. With company, ten gold coins for a woman, twenty for a man."

Why is it ten for a woman and twenty for a man?

Chicken is less expensive than duck, right? When will women truly rise up? He thought with irritation.

Without hesitation, Han Zhan paid two gold coins, slapping them on the counter.

Soon, someone came out to lead Han Zhan to his room.

Once Han Zhan's figure vanished at the end of the Nightingale Inn's staircase, the landlady slowly withdrew her gaze.

"Why did you let him in like that?" A woman with an enchanting appearance whined as she coquettishly complained to the landlady.

Not only was Han Zhan handsome, but he also had a great physique. She wouldn't even mind paying for him.

She wasn't the only one who felt this way.

The landlady gave these amorous minxes a sideways glance.

"When will you start using your eyes properly?"

"Don't even think about approaching that young man. If you get involved with him, don't blame me if you can't get out of it."

"Why? Is he going to eat someone or something?" A woman giggled.

"That wallet he held was Andrew's," the landlady said just one sentence.

Even if they hadn't met him, the women at Nightingale Inn knew who Andrew was.

He was a broker who moved between the inn and its clients, a pimp.

But that's not the main issue the main issue was that he was a Tier Five Dawn Knight who valued money over his own life.

And for a Tier Five Dawn Knight like him, who values money above all else, why would his wallet be in Han Zhan's hands? That's what makes this story intriguing.

But regardless, this isn't something they could delve into deeply.

Understanding the landlady's warning, all the women scattered, returning to their positions to welcome the next guest.

As for Han Zhan, seeing that the landlady and those accompanying women no longer pestered him, he was happy to stroll leisurely toward his room alone.

Han Zhan's room was number 603.

The Nightingale Inn was large, boasting eight floors.

Each floor had at least twenty rooms, enough to handle high guest traffic.

The Nightingale Inn's business was thriving, and Han Zhan's hearing was sharp, allowing him to catch seductive sounds from various rooms even as he walked down the hallway.

The sounds from one room were particularly intense, and Han Zhan glanced at the room number: 604.

Just as he stood at his door, ready to enter.

A man wearing only white boxer shorts hurriedly ran out from Room 604.

He glanced at Han Zhan, then quickly looked down, starting to mutter to himself at his boxer shorts.

"Stealing Skillful Hand, Giant Tongue Whip, Quick Draw, Frenzied Growth, Deadly Rhythm, Phase Rush, Giant Dragon Impact, War Rhythm, Master's Might, Holy Spear Baptism, Brutal Strike, Powerful Strike, Ultimate Moment, Archer Focus, Energy Overflow, Calm and Relaxed, Resurrection, Repeating Old Tricks!"

To the uninformed, it sounded like he was reciting dishes.

As the man recited each phrase, a different-colored aura appeared at his feet.

With each appearance, the light made even his boxer shorts look dazzling.

Han Zhan watched this scene in bewilderment.

After the man finished, he glanced at Han Zhan.

Extremely handsome features, sapphire eyes, golden short hair—all hallmark traits of the Imperial side.

The man smiled slightly at Han Zhan, nodding as a greeting, then turned back into his room.

Not long after, spirited cries from a woman resumed from inside the room.

Han Zhan couldn't help shaking his head, pushing open his door and going inside.

"From judging the spiritual power fluctuations just now, he gave off a strong impression."

"At least, he's a Tier Seven Punishment Knight."

"I suddenly understand why Andrew mentioned that high-tier knights are irresistible to women."

Kidding aside, with over a dozen amplification auras, engaging in such activities—even the ground could be pounded into a crater.

Unbelievable!

Thinking of this, Han Zhan shook his head.

Once inside, the noise next door was much quieter. Although he could still catch snippets, this was bearable.

After a while, a knock on the door sounded.

A maid in a sexy outfit stood outside with a meal cart.

"I didn't order any food. Is this a mistake?" Han Zhan asked, surprised.

"No mistake. The landlady instructed it. At Nightingale Inn, guests receive a complimentary dinner."

The maid eyed Han Zhan sultrily but quickly regained her composure, remembering the landlady's earlier instructions. She delivered the food into Han Zhan's room and left with the meal cart.

Han Zhan lifted the food cover, releasing an aroma that filled the room along with rising steam.

A steak on an iron plate, sizzling with oil and warmth.

A steaming roast chicken, segmented into parts.

Also, vegetables and pasta—a very sumptuous spread.

Seeing these dishes, Han Zhan suddenly felt that spending two gold coins for a night at Nightingale Inn wasn't entirely unreasonable for him.

"Seems like the culinary expertise in the City of Extreme Evil surpasses the outside world quite a bit." Slicing a piece of steak with a dinner knife, he forked it into his mouth, savoring the aroma and juicy tenderness between his teeth, Han Zhan couldn't help but remark.

Without being told, who could imagine this was the City of Extreme Evil, a place filled with danger and horror?

As Han Zhan was devouring his meal, another knock came.

Opening the door, he saw the Punishment Knight who added buffs outside earlier.

Now dressed, no longer surrounded by auras, seemingly bathed without other scents on him.

"Hello, I'm Zhan Ning, Deputy Commander of the Sun Never Sets Knight Order, Tier Seven Punishment Knight."

"You're probably an exile just arrived from the outside?"

"I can feel the hostility towards knights from you, and the Knight's Mark left on you by Tier Five Dawn Knight Andrew."
