Chapter 90: Firepower Barrage (Daily Special Update) (2)

And now, the Supreme wants to eliminate Baiyi. With the presence of the Old City Lord, they can't achieve it, but if chaos erupts within the city, there might still be a chance.

The Mage stopped speaking, and his eyes, hidden beneath the hood, appeared somewhat dazed as he followed the Angel straight into the Dark Valley.

The ground of this valley was black, different from the scarlet ground ravaged by Baiyi. Here, the primary sensation was one of coldness, rather than savagery.

The peaks on both sides were also tinged with black. After taking just a couple of steps forward, the two Golden-ranked individuals immediately felt the gaze of something watching them.

Buzz~

A chilling aura swept over, and flames ignited on the Mage's body, incinerating a mutated Wandering Soul to ashes in an instant with its shrill cry.

The Angel and the Mage exchanged glances, a Golden Lower Tier Mage and a Golden Middle Tier Mage, their terrifying aura associated with their Golden rank suddenly surged.

The prying eyes around them quickly disappeared, leaving only darkness and withered plants, with no further anomalies.

The Angel glanced deeper into the Dark Valley at an abrupt, rising aberration, a twisted and horrific aura, and softly said, "Begin, he won't refuse."

The Mage nodded, placing his hands in front of him, and began to chant in an unknown language, conjuring a sinister aura.

Between his hands, a deformed, twisted sphere appeared, with rolling fleshy tissues and tentacles emerging and disappearing on it.

A frightening feeling began to permeate the valley, and the monsters hiding in the shadows below revealed themselves, as if possessed, converging towards them.

These monsters were terrifying—for instance, a gigantic cockroach covered in eyeballs, a massive lizard filled with mouths, and various other mutated creatures.

But they all had one thing in common, their bodies seemed somewhat illusory, appearing to be some kind of Spirit Body, existing between illusion and reality, inciting a wave of nausea just by glancing at them.

"A Monarch from the Abyss, a great being representing Frenzy, Nightmares, and Aberrations, the mystery of the Night wishes to make a bargain with you. The great flesh of the Lord of Evil Fall from the Abyss, in exchange for your insignificant clone in Xiya Continent..."

Amidst the Mage's chant, the Angel clasped his hands together, continuously invoking some kind of ritual, powerful Magic Power tracing a pattern in front of him as a sacrificial array slowly emerged.

"The great Night shall remember your favor, shall bring Frenzy, Nightmares, and Aberrations to this World. Fear shall become your emblem, and the Night your cover, bringing the purest fear to this world. All intelligent beings will remember your name, great Abyss Monarch Frederick Stuart, please respond to the Night's call...."

The continuous chanting and prayers, along with the increasingly scarlet sacrificial array in the air, made the aberrant aura deep within the Dark Valley somewhat hesitant.

An aura from another Dimension slowly revealed itself, seemingly trying to communicate with them.

The Abyss Monarch, being at Demigod Level, was only a step away from Divine Level. Although a powerful Demigod could influence this world across countless spaces, it was far more challenging than for a Divine Level being.

The Lord of Evil Fall is the master of several hundred layers of the Abyss, a true Divine Level entity equivalent to Middle Divine Power when aligned with a Faith God. This level of flesh and blood is simply a Supreme Treasure for a Demigod.

Thus, He hesitated, weighing the intricate Mutated Zone He painstakingly established and a piece of flesh—deciding which was more worthwhile.

The Mutated Zone could help Him gather Souls and Essence Blood from this World, replenishing Himself in the Abyss and fostering continuous Growth, while the divine flesh could help Him comprehend the divine Rules, offering immense assistance....

"Roar~"

Just then, the presence of the Giant Dragon was faintly felt overhead. A Dragon enveloped in metallic hues yet exuding an Undead aura was overlooking them from high above.

The numerous mutated creatures below were provoked by the Dragon Power, roaring skyward, emitting powerful, aberrant auras, but without receiving orders to leave the Mutated Zone.

The Angel and the Mage exchanged glances, both somewhat surprised, their prayers accelerating in pace with mutual understanding.

It was as if urging the Demigod to make His decision.

The Mechanical Giant Dragon did not launch an attack, merely circling the edge of the valley, its eyes scanning between the Angel, the Mage, and the monster deep within the Mutated Zone.

The God was still pondering, clearly sensing that should the Mage's chanting cease, the flesh belonging to the Lord of Evil Fall in His domain would vanish.

Continuously growing is Power, the flesh in their hands represents the Rules.

A powerful Demigod could rival a God of Tiny Divine Power, but the Abyss Lord also belongs to the Ancient Gods, thus the Abyss Demigod is not necessarily weak.

The distinction between Ancient Gods and New Gods is that Ancient Gods do not require something like the Divine Format.

Ancient Gods broke through the limits of mortals on their own to reach the domain of Gods.

New Gods obtained Divine Format, ignited Divine Fire, and created Divine Kingdoms, becoming powerful through Faith.

The domains differ, and God is merely the term used in Xiya Continent for these great beings; they prefer to call themselves Monarchs or Kings.

As time passed bit by bit, a sudden surge of intense unease rose in their hearts, and an expression of anxiety appeared in the eyes of the Angel and the Mage.
