Tracking two Level-One Crystalized Wizards is no easy task. Duke and Dog-man Reed constantly maintained the furthest distance, carefully restraining their aura and covering their tracks along the way.
They were extremely cautious, advancing with an attitude of not exposing themselves even if they lost track.
Fortunately, Bell and Reid seemed to never have considered that other wizards might exist here, so their level of alertness wasn't high, only the servant Reid occasionally scanned the surroundings.
But apart from some of the shadow creatures from the Eternal Darkness Corridor itself, there were no other threats along the way, allowing Bell and Reid to relax slightly.
Duke relied on Reid's keen sense of smell all the way, staying at a distance and persistently tailing them.
Reed sniffed and reported through Spiritual Power information: "They've stopped now."
They are now a full seven to eight kilometers away from Bell, yet Reed could still clearly sense the movements of the other party through his sense of smell.
In Reed's perception, Bell and Reid, who had been moving at a steady pace, suddenly stopped at a location, staying there longer than they had at any previous stop.
This indicated that they were likely not dealing with minor shadow creatures or trouble – they might have reached their destination or encountered some formidable, troublesome demon.
However, the latter possibility was relatively low because if they had encountered a mighty demon, there wouldn't be complete silence.
While Duke instructed Dog-man Reed to continue monitoring the movements on their side, he summoned an Eye of Darkness within the Shadow Space, approaching Bell's location stealthily.
He carefully manipulated the Eye of Darkness to approach, constantly checking the Shadow Space for any detection mechanisms left by Bell.
As the Eye of Darkness moved forward, the scene ahead gradually became visible to Duke, revealing what was happening there clearly.
Bell and Reid each held a black feather pen, stained with crimson blood, the origin of which was unknown.
They meticulously drew on a broad open ground, and the outline of a Witch Array gradually emerged.
This was clearly an extremely complex Witch Array, with very intricate and elaborate runes. Even with both Bell and Reid drawing it, the progress was painstakingly slow.
The blood on the feather pen quickly ran out, prompting them to take out a vial filled with crimson blood, using the feather pen to absorb some and continue sketching the Witch Array.
Bell and Reid moved with precision and fluidity, as if they had practiced countless times.
The black feather pen in their hands acted like the finest carving tool, utilizing the crimson liquid as ink to etch complex, mysterious, and power-laden lines and runes on the ground rock.
Every stroke seemed alive, the crimson lines subtly wriggled, emitting weak yet distinct energy waves that rapidly seeped into the earth, leaving indelible marks.
The structure of this Witch Array nested multiple layers of distinctly different auxiliary structures with varied functions, just looking at the intertwining, meticulously crafted runic arrays was enough to make one's scalp tingle.
Duke only had some shallow understanding of Witch Arrays. The one before his eyes was evidently extremely complex, and he had no clue what its purpose might be.
He chose not to interfere with Bell and Reid but instead decided to see what they intended to do; now was not the time to act.
The Eye of Darkness focused its vision on the core area of the Witch Array. As Bell and Reid continued drawing, the core nodes of the array began to emit increasingly strong energy.
After approximately ten hours, the enormous Witch Array was finally completed. Bell and Reid were clearly exhausted.
The drawing of the Witch Array consumed not only the crimson blood but also their Spiritual Power and Magic Power.
This Witch Array was inherently complicated, requiring immense consumption of Spiritual Power and Magic Power. Even for Crystalized Wizards, enduring ten hours of such depletion was challenging.
Bell sighed and took out a potion from his Space Ring, consuming what seemed to be a magic-restoring potion.
As for Reid, he was completely ignored, despite having also expended much effort. He was just a servant, not worth wasting a potion on.
After taking a short rest, Bell gazed at the expansive Witch Array before him, closed his eyes, and his entire body rapidly began transforming, gradually activating his Bloodline Power, changing his form.
His meticulously groomed golden hair moved autonomously without wind, standing upright. It seemed to be dyed by an intense darkness, quickly losing its golden sheen and becoming like the deepest night sky.
His skin became paler, exuding a cold jade-like texture, yet strands of dark energy entwined over it.
The skin at the center of Bell's forehead writhed violently and ripped open, unveiling a deep vertical slit. From it emerged a cold, emotionless third eye resembling an endless void of blackness.
This vertical pupil slowly rotated, scanning the surroundings. Wherever its gaze landed, even the pervasive Dark Attribute Energy appeared to freeze.
Accompanied by the sound of fabric tearing, a pair of massive bat-like membrane wings composed entirely of shadow energy suddenly unfolded from Bell's shoulder blades.
The edges of these membrane wings weren't smooth; they appeared like fractured shadows with serrated phantom edges, subtly stirring the surrounding Dark Attribute Energy as they flapped silently.
Bell had shed the facade of a human noble, revealing the true form of the Crawford Clan's Bloodline Power.
Of course, not all of the Crawford Clan's bloodline power was displayed now; Bell had only awakened part of the bloodline power.
"By my blood, I call your true name! By the array of the covenant, summon the glory of the dark lineage!" Bell's voice became grand and commanding, infused with a strange rhythm. Each syllable seemed to knock on the energy nodes of the Witch Array.
Upon activating his bloodline, the vast Magic Power surged like a torrent, furiously channeled into the entire expansive crimson Witch Array through the connection point beneath his feet.
The Witch Array erupted with unprecedented bright blood-light, all the crimson runes ablaze as if igniting, an enormous tide of energy completely invoked, raging along the intricate circuits, ultimately converging at the center of the array.
A massive pillar of pure dark red energy suddenly shot skyward from the core, powerfully striking the void above the central open ground.
Space was instantly torn apart, slowly forming a vast vortex at the strike point, its edges swirling with dense Dark Attribute Energy.
A terrifying ancient might emanated from the depths of the vortex, as if connected to some unfathomable being that had slumbered for ages.
