A group of Blood Ring Farmers lay sprawled on the cold muddy ground, seemingly dead. Only the slight rise and fall of their chests proved they were still alive.

Before long, a monster appeared in the valley.

Scarlet eyes and bat-like crimson wings grew from its back. The emaciated body was unusually light, with vaguely visible shriveled spherical fat on its chest, suggesting it was female before the mutation.

After circling twice, Crimson Wings selected a target, swooping down like a hunting eagle, again grabbing a farmer and ascending!

The second feed sped up noticeably; after discarding the second dried corpse, she dove again! However, her wing-beat slowed considerably this time.

"The potent anesthetic we injected into those mud-spattered folks has taken effect!"

On the cliff, the shield-wielding Awakened murmured, "Aim and shoot quickly! Gold Butterfly said this guy's toxin resistance is strong, and will expel the anesthetic components in seconds."

The green-headband Awakened responded, placing both hands on the Harpoon Cannon.

The Harpoon Cannon, also known as "Whale Hunting Spear," utilizes powerful springs and high-strength cables, capable of launching metal spears with iron chains! The spearhead bears sharp hooked thorns.

This weapon seems primitive, typically used by Northern European fishing vessels for whaling, but after being acquired and modified by the Hidden Snake Team, with increased spear speed, it becomes effective against winged creatures!

Crimson Wings sensed the danger, instinctively attempting to evade. However, during her dodge, she suddenly veered, unwittingly spinning a futile circle in mid-air, then flew higher!

This slight delay allowed the green-headband Awakened's Harpoon Cannon to hit the target, penetrating Crimson Wings' wing!

Conversely, the Harpoon Cannon from the opposite cliff miscalculated, missing in mid-air, falling down.

"It worked! Luckily Gold Butterfly intervened, her illusion technique is indeed unrivaled, able to disrupt even Enhanced Leaders!" The green-headband Awakened exclaimed excitedly.

The other lurking Awakened rushed over. The leading tall and lean man gave the green-headband a pat on the shoulder, laughing, "Nicely done!"

Crimson Wings struggled to attempt flight again, but it was futile; her strength was not her strong suit, causing her to fall once again.

A man with snake-like pupils and a cold demeanor nimbly descended from the opposite mountainside, standing before Crimson Wings, and was the Level 6 Hero Profession, Hidden Snake!

A petite woman followed behind Hidden Snake, donned in a soft, yellow cloth robe embroidered with golden patterns resembling a blooming chrysanthemum, evoking a sense of cherished protection.

This yellow-robed woman was naturally the illusionist: Gold Butterfly, part of the core trio of Hidden Snake Team.

"Hold the cables tight, secure the Harpoon Cannon, don't loosen your grip! Crimson Wings' power attribute isn't much stronger than yours; with combined efforts of three people, she can't break free! Let alone with the weight of this Harpoon Cannon."

Night Wings gave instructions, then looked at the shield-bearing Awakened, "File, come down with me!"

The Awakened named File nodded, followed Night Wings down the cliff, meeting up with Hidden Snake and Gold Butterfly.

Even without complete reasoning ability, Crimson Wings could understand she was deceived by the humans before her! She shrieked, dragging the long cable, lunging at the leading Hidden Snake!

This strike was rapid, but Hidden Snake's speed was remarkably swift! He wielded two short swords, two crisp sounds, deflecting Crimson Wings' lunge, then crossed both hands, drawing a dark-colored cross Qi Force!

Crimson Wings' figure flickered, dodging aside. An exchange where Hidden Snake could still engage back and forth with Crimson Wings, swapping moves without injury!

The Hidden Snake team's Awakened surged with momentum. Gold Butterfly retrieved her Magic Staff, and Night Wings her Crossbow, launching attacks at Crimson Wings.

Crimson Wings flickered again, evading while shifting targets. Her battle instincts told her that continuing to entangle with the speed-matching enemy held no advantage; better to clear the area first, then deal with him slowly!

And Crimson Wings' strike was aimed directly at Gold Butterfly in her tender yellow robe!
