Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is known as the "city floating on water".

Stockholm itself is made up of islands and bridges, and the sea area to the east is composed of thousands of islands forming an archipelago!

Among them, "Horseshoe Island", shaped like a horseshoe groove, is where Noel's Alchemy Workshop is located.

Even before the Flesh and Blood Plague broke out, Noel was a well-known alchemist who received a constant stream of visitors. Preferring quiet research, Noel moved his workshop to the remote Horseshoe Island.

Fortunately, Noel's Alchemy Workshop was not discovered by the Blood Ring and thus wasn't requisitioned.

If it were requisitioned by the Blood Ring, a great battle would be inevitable.

The third step of this Silver Side Task is only D-level in difficulty, so there shouldn't be high-intensity battles.

"This place looks desolate, as if there's no alchemy workshop here at all," Yingwa said, looking around curiously after arriving on Horseshoe Island.

Without a word, Noel walked to a pile of rocks and signaled Yingwa to move them aside, revealing a metal pillar. Noel dripped a drop of his blood into it, and a red light glimmered faintly at the top of the pillar.

Noel pressed a button on top of the metal pillar.

With a low rumbling, Horseshoe Island trembled slightly, and an arched bunker door slowly opened before everyone, forming an underground passage.

Bai Pu's sub-profession had reached Level 2, and his knowledge of Flesh and Blood Alchemy rivaled that of a Level 4 Alchemist. He recognized this as a Flesh and Blood Alchemy mechanism—only Noel's blood could activate the button, others could only stare helplessly unless they used brute force to dig slowly.

"Brute force can't be used for digging."

Noel seemed to read Bai Pu's mind. "In the underground workshop, there are alchemy giant statues I created, which will attack any enemy attempting violent dismantling."

Saying this, Noel pressed another button, and the ground around them spiraled open, revealing two large holes three meters in diameter. Platforms rose, along with two alchemy giant statues four meters tall.

Bai Pu used Nine Chapters Detection on the two statues, finding that they had attributes equivalent to an Enhanced Elite, appearing to be Noel's final trump card.

Of course, these two statues were slow and required timely charging, unable to venture far from the alchemy workshop.

Otherwise, Noel might have manipulated these statues to try to kill the Blood Mist Butcher and let his son's soul rest. Whether they would succeed was another matter.

Bai Pu followed Noel into the underground workshop and discovered it was dug expansively and divided into compartments, fully equipped with various alchemical instruments.

Noel walked to the central compartment, flicked a switch, and an experimental table appeared. He opened a hidden compartment and took out a variety of alchemical materials.

After a dazzling round of concoction, Noel, somewhat tired, handed a vial to Bai Pu.

"This is the pinnacle of my research into human potential, the Life Enhancement Liquid."

Noel said with some melancholy, "I originally planned to give this potion along with my pocket watch to my son as a birthday present."

But only the pocket watch was sent. The Life Enhancement Liquid never came into use.

Because on that very day, Noel's son became a Dead Plague.

Bai Pu accepted the vial.

He simultaneously received the notification of completing Noel's Alchemy Workshop's Silver Side Task, and this vial was the final reward of this series of tasks.

A reward that enhances Basic Attributes undoubtedly lives up to the rarity of the Silver Side Task.

Taking into account the hidden reward of Noel's high favorability, Bai Pu realized that out of the four items drawn from the Blood Mist Butcher's treasure chest, the [Noel's Old Pocket Watch] was surprisingly the most valuable.

Bai Pu softly said, "Condolences."

He wasn't good at comforting others; in fact, the elderly man before him, who had seen through the world, didn't need his comfort.

Bai Pu drank the Life Enhancement Liquid, feeling a warm current surge through his body.

[Your Basic Spirit +2.]

Bai Pu sighed. He had initially hoped most to enhance his Basic Power and Basic Endurance because the Blood Mist Butcher's Chainsaw Sword was an extremely powerful weapon that could significantly increase Bai Pu's output, but he currently didn't meet the equipment requirements and had to activate all his trump cards each time just to barely qualify.

Now, out of the 7 attribute points, only 1 was allocated to Endurance.

Bai Pu could only comfort himself, as Agility and Spirit were both useful.

"Master Noel, you should stay here. Prepare well, for the next time I return, I'll want to commission you for heart transplant surgery," Bai Pu said.

Given Noel's weak combat prowess, he wouldn't involve him in the risky venture of infiltrating the Royal Palace within the Blood Ring Fortress and the Royal Alchemy Academy afterward.

"This is the gratitude I should express, I will do my best," Noel nodded, but still reminded, "As you mentioned, the transplant of the Primordial Heart is significant, and I alone won't suffice. That Lady Qin, with whom I communicated via carrier pigeon, must also be present to have a better chance."

Bai Pu said, "With your help, Qin has already made a new antidote targeted at the Deep Red Death Plague, and as agreed, she's on her way."

Beside him, the Female Knight Yvette hesitated, whispering to Bai Pu, "Should we wait for Lady Qin before using that secret passage?"

Bai Pu shook his head and refused, "No, this must be completed as soon as possible, lest complications arise."

Waiting for Qin to arrive before exploring the Royal Alchemy Academy would indeed increase their safety.

But would the Spirit Realm Will allow Bai Pu to rely so heavily on the strength of local powerhouses? Qin was a Level 6 Enhanced Leader, an important World Waymark; her involvement would bring many uncontrollable factors and significantly lower Bai Pu's task completion evaluation!

Bai Pu had worked hard to this point and certainly didn't want to achieve a 100% task completion rate, only to end up with a "Poor" task completion evaluation.

Bai Pu and Yvette boarded the ship, and the warship then set sail to Mist Island, another island east of Stockholm.

This Mist Island hid the secret path Qin had mentioned!

This secret path was a naturally formed underground space, originally with traps set by ancient civilizations, and had become exceedingly perilous following the outbreak of the Flesh and Blood Plague.

Bai Pu actually hoped the secret path would be more dangerous because the dangers of traversing it were part of the difficulty of his class change task.

The greater the difficulty of the secret path, the less exploring the Royal Alchemy Academy would be!

Bai Pu's biggest advantage at the moment was that the secret path was concealed, and the enemy wouldn't be prepared.

Once through the secret path and into the Royal Alchemy Academy, everyone would be an enemy!
