Global Evolution: I Transplanted the Supreme Divine Heart

Chapter 213: The Talent Tree of the Heart of Evolution

Bai Pu rested for a day at the Blood Ring Palace. During this time, he was somewhat exhausted, longing to abandon the remaining ten days of free exploration time and return early to the real world to sleep for three days and nights.

However, Bai Pu could not just walk away.

The Blood Rose War was still ongoing.

Although the situation of the war had seen a significant turn, the Blood Ring Emperor Gustav was still present.

The Blood Ring Fortress also had channels similar to the flesh and blood pigeon, which could quickly transmit intelligence.

After Bai Pu hijacked Princess Christina's lead coffin, Schroeder the Scholar, who was loyal to the Emperor, transmitted this information to the Malmö frontline at the first opportunity.

Intelligence showed that Emperor Gustav had already withdrawn his troops and was leading his Blood Ring Elites to Stockholm!

Bai Pu had to eliminate this Lord Level powerhouse to fully implement his plans in this world.

During the rest, Bai Pu sorted out the breakthrough in his strength from this career transition.

Firstly, the Enhanced Hero Profession: Blood River Tyrant, possessed specialties in Power and Endurance. Upon successfully changing professions, he received a reward of 10 Basic Power points and 10 Basic Endurance points.

Each Level 1 increase in the Blood River Tyrant's profession template brings an enhancement of 5 Basic Power points and 5 Basic Endurance points, with an increase of 3 points in Agility and Spirit, and a total Attributes increase of 16 points.

The original professional skill: Flesh Armor, upgraded to [Blood River Territory], can use Fighting Qi to create illusions of a Blood River, applying dark attribute damage to all enemies within the affected range while healing his own equivalent Life Value. Overflow of Life Value transforms into an equivalent Shield, with the Shield limit being three times the Endurance Attribute.

Blood River Territory has no cooldown time and doesn't require pre-preparation of Flesh and Blood Spells, as long as there is enough Fighting Qi to support it, it can be cast—of course, each activation of Blood River Territory consumes 50 points of Blood River Fighting Qi, with an additional 2 Fighting Qi consumed per second thereafter.

The Level 4 Effect of Blood River Territory upgrades from "Gravity Ball" to "Gravity Field", no longer pulling toward Bai Pu's direction but allowing Bai Pu to control the gravity within the Blood River range—even affecting allies.

Simply put, within Blood River Territory, Bai Pu can, at his will, grant allies the accelerated effect of Lightness or inflict enemies with the slowed effect of body heaviness.

Whether it's acceleration or deceleration, both effects are determined by Bai Pu's Power Attribute and Endurance Attribute dual judgment.

Dual judgment doesn't stack speed effects but takes the highest value. For example, if Bai Pu's Power is 68, and Endurance is 77, it imposes a (38) point slowing effect on enemies within the Blood River Territory.

The significance of dual judgment is that when enemies attempt to negate this effect, they must undergo a second judgment. The first victim was Hidden Snake; his [Shadow Walking] had a priority of 7 points, originally able to resist 75% slowdown effect, but under dual judgment, it could only resist a 50% slowdown effect.

[Blood River Territory] counts as Bai Pu's professional skill based on an Endurance-type Hero Profession.

Simultaneously, as a Power-type Hero Profession, Bai Pu obtained an additional professional skill:

Tyrant's Fury!

[Tyrant's Fury (Passive): Every ordinary attack by the Blood River Tyrant embodies the aesthetics of violence. When you attempt to knock or repel a target, you gain a bonus for the power judgment (based on your Level, 5 points per level, currently 25 points). For enemies with Power lower than yours, it's easier to inflict disabled effects on targets.]

Bai Pu's first battle after changing professions, able to kill two Blood Ring Guards in one strike, naturally had the passive special effect of [Tyrant's Fury] to attribute.

These are the changes on the profession panel.

Of course, the biggest change was Bai Pu's Talent: Heart of Evolution.

After transplanting and successfully merging two pieces of Primordial Heart Tissue, Bai Pu activated the "Talent Tree" of the Heart of Evolution.

The layers of the Talent Tree are currently unknown, with each layer requiring a "Divine Rune" to unlock.

Fortunately, Bai Pu currently has a "Divine Rune"—Bai Pu believes this is likely related to his collection of a Primordial Heart.

The cornerstone talents of Heart of Evolution, the three major Talent Abilities, remain, only the third talent: Genetic Fragment has changed.

[Genetic Fragment: When you use Genetic Fragment Fusion, you no longer need to consume Life Source Points. With your own strength increase, you no longer crave or collect Genetic Fragments of Elite Level and Enhanced Elite Level templates.]

In other words, Bai Pu can now only collect Genetic Fragments from Leader and higher template enemies. Meanwhile, the "Life Source" resource bar has completely become history.

Bai Pu considers this a good thing, as his Life Source Points were always tight, often in a state of deficit.

Now, though the "appetite" of the Heart of Evolution has increased, requiring at least killing a Leader to collect Genetic Fragments, Bai Pu can use those Genetic Fragments for fusion without any consumption for each Leader killed.

Of course, previously collected Elite enemies' Genetic Fragments can still be used, also no longer consuming Life Source. However, once used, they decrease by one.

In the first-level Talent Tree, there are a total of three options, all currently in a dim state, not yet activated.

A. Memory Expansion: allows your Adaptive Evolution storage layers to increase by 4.

B. Source Blood Apostle: you can condense Source Blood. Injecting Source Blood allows obtaining permanent slaves.

C. Genetic Heart Image: every time you use Genetic Fusion, you gain an opportunity to summon a phantom of the target strong within Heart Image. You can train combat skills with the strong phantom.

These three options correspond to the cornerstone talents: Adaptive Evolution, Pure Blood Protection, and Genetic Fragment.

Option A, Memory Expansion, allows Adaptive Evolution storage layers to grow to 8 layers, so Bai Pu doesn't always have to delete an evolution state and store a new one.

Option C, Genetic Heart Image, is essentially an option to help Bai Pu hone combat specialization.

The so-called Heart Image is actually the imagination of the mind. For example, if Bai Pu fuses the Genetic Fragment of the Blood Mist Butcher, he can mentally project a phantom of the Blood Mist Butcher during his free time for meditation combat training.

These two options pertain to the enhancement of soft power, which Bai Pu certainly values. However, the best is Option B: Source Blood Apostle.

As long as he activates Option B, Source Blood Apostle, Bai Pu can condense Source Blood and inject it into the target character's body, making them his permanently enslaved—Source Blood Apostle.

As a permanent slave, the Source Blood Apostle can follow Bai Pu back to the real world and also accompany Bai Pu in conquering other worlds.

Activating branch options on the Talent Tree requires not Spiritual Points nor the former "Life Source Points", but a resource point known as "Legendary Points"!

Bai Pu queried, and the Spirit Realm Will quickly provided feedback.

[Legend: You have significantly altered the fate line of a world, leaving an indelible legend in that world; whether the living or the dead, all chant your name.]

[Each time you become a legend in a world, you gain at least 1 point of Legendary Points.]
