Chapter 157: Learning About Other Realms

"Why are you pretending to be like this?" Sol asked, tilting his head. "Remember, you just tried to kill me. You tried to turn me into a firework to crack a lock. So, of course, there is a price for failure."

He looked her up and down. Even though she had been reduced from a hundred-foot titaness to a pint-sized, 5'5" girl, she was still breathtaking. Her skin glowed with the same sunrise warmth; her curves, though scaled down, were perfection incarnate. She was ethereal, divine, and currently, very portable.

A wicked idea formed in Sol's mind.

"If you want to go out," Sol said, leaning down so they were face-to-face, "of course, there is a way, you just have to satisfy me."

Isylia blinked, confusion knitting her brows. "Satisfy you... with what? Knowledge? Riches? Power?"

"Of course not," Sol deadpanned. "The way humans satisfy each other. Through sex."

Isylia's jaw dropped. Her face turned a violent shade of cosmic crimson.

"You filthy human being!" she shrieked, stomping her foot. "Can't you think of something decent? I am a Primordial god! I am the Weaver of Nebulae!"

"How is this filthy?" Sol asked innocently, spreading his hands. "Isn't this nature? The divine way of life? It's the method to reproduce the next generation. It is the most sacred act of creation. How is it exactly filthy, primordial Goddess sama?"

"Y-you..." Isylia sputtered, pointing a trembling finger at his nose. "Don't talk nonsense! Do not twist philosophy to justify your lechery! I would absolutely not do it. Never! Change your demand!"

Sol sighed, feigning deep disappointment. "Fine. You drive a hard bargain. I guess I can't force a Goddess."

He crossed his arms, tapping his chin in thought.

"Oh, okay. Then let's see what else you can offer. If I can't have your body, then what about some cheat power. Give me a Divine Physique. Or some god-tier techniques. Make me invincible."

Isylia huffed, crossing her arms to match him, trying to regain some dignity.

"You really dare to dream, humph! Even though I don't know what this cheat thing is, but Is it really so easy to get those other things you have mentioned?" She rolled her eyes. "A Divine Physique is something people are born with, carved into their soul by fate. It is not something that can just be given like a piece of meat."

She narrowed her eyes, scanning him again, sniffing the air.

"Besides," she muttered, "seeing your physique... I doubt you'd need another one. Whatever that other Goddess did to you, she turned your body into a sponge for vitality. Adding another physique on top of that would likely cause your cells to collapse."

Sol frowned. "So I'm stuck with this? Is there really no exception?"

"It's always better to get another one," he muttered to himself. "One is good, two is better. That's basic math."

Isylia sighed, rubbing her temples. "Of course there are extreme rarities. Some Primordial Artifacts can alter the body. There are herbs in the Elemental Realm that can rewrite bone structure..."

"Wait, wait, wait," Sol interrupted, his ears perking up. "Elemental Realm? Is there any other realm?"

Isylia looked at him like he was a toddler who didn't know the sky was blue.

"Of course there are other realms," she scoffed. "Did you think this world was the only layer of existence? You mortals are really ignorant. The world is a layered onion of dimensions."

Sol didn't say anything. It was true that he was ignorant… he was just a pitiful isekai protagonist without a manual… but of course, he wasn't going to admit that. More importantly, he wanted to get as much information as possible from her. If playing the fool soothed her pride and kept her talking, he would play the fool.

"Go on," he urged.

"There are various other realms attached to this main Material Plane," Isylia lectured, falling into the role of a teacher to mask her powerlessness. "Like the Elemental Realm, where pure mana storms exist. Or the Spirit Realm, where the spirits and soul-forms live."

Sol stopped her again. "So this world has spirits too? Like ghosts? Or nature spirits?"

Isylia glared at him, her eyes flaring. "If you dare stop me one more time, I'll—I'll blow you up!"

She raised her hand, threatening to snap her fingers.

Sol didn't flinch. He smiled… a calm, evil, knowing smile.

"Really?" he asked softly. "Can you?"

Isylia froze. She looked at her hand. She looked at the oppressive air of the Void Temple, which was currently recognizing Sol as the owner.

She realized, with a sinking sensation, that she didn't have her divine powers. She couldn't blow up a balloon, let alone a human.

She lowered her hand slowly, her face flushing with embarrassment.

"Humph," she turned her head away, pouting. "Then, I won't tell you anything then. Figure it out yourself, bug."

Sol laughed, raising his hands in surrender. He knew when to push and when to pull.

"Okay, okay," he said soothingly. "I'm sorry. I won't ask anything else. Please, continue, Oh Great Weaver of Nebulae. I am listening."

"Humph."

Isylia crossed her small arms over her chest, the celestial fabric of her shrunken peplos rustling. She sat on the edge of the dais, kicking her legs like a bored child swinging on a park bench, though her eyes still held the ancient, burning fire of a star.

"Fine," she muttered, adjusting her posture to regain some semblance of divine dignity. "If you are going to be my jailer… temporarily, of course… you should at least understand the cage you live in. You mortals think the dirt under your feet is the sum of creation. It is adorable. And pathetic."

She raised a hand. The void around them darkened, the distant stars dimming to create a blank, infinite canvas.

"Pay attention, bug." She declared, her voice sharp, though it trembled faintly with suppressed insecurity. "I am only going to explain the cosmology of the Multiverse once. And I am only doing it because your ignorance offends me, definitely not because, I'm scared of you or anything "

Sol sat down on the obsidian floor, crossing his legs. He rested his chin in his hand, looking up at her with a look of rapt, albeit slightly mocking, attention.

"I'm all ears, Oh Great Weaver," he said, biting the inside of his cheek to control his laughter. She was adorable when she tried to be intimidating at five feet, five inch tall.

Isylia rolled her eyes, muttering something about insolent mortals, but she began to weave her hands through the air. As she spoke, the darkness around them shifted, painting images in pure light. Shapes bloomed like constellations, glowing diagrams of worlds and pathways unfurling across the void.

"Think of the Main World," she began, her voice softening into reverence. It is neutral, beautiful, and terrifyingly vast, as the "core, the nexus." It is an infinite world, as no one, even the gods know its ends. It is the only place where flesh, spirit, and energy coexist perfectly. It is the only place where you might see a Titan trading with a Sprite, or a Dragon hunting a Beast-Lord. It is like a loving mother which can accommodate all and everything, without any discrimination."

She waved her hand, and the void fractured, revealing layers surrounding it like the skins of an onion.

"But the Other Realms," she whispered, her voice taking on a reverence she couldn't hide, "are dimensions of extreme purity where only one concept exists. They are fully realized civilizations with their own laws, cultures, and architectures that would break your mind. They are specialized domains where ancient races have built empires for eons. Some were born there, others migrated, but all are shaped by the purity of their domain."

"Can humans enter those realms?" Sol couldn't help but ask curiously.

She didn't snap at him this time. She simply answered, "Of course. It is possible."

"Then where are their entrances?" he asked eagerly. The concept of other dimensions completely awakened the otaku adventurous spirit in him. Which reader hasn't dreamed of going to other dimensions, raiding dungeons, and meeting exotic races?"

Isylia smirked, enjoying his sudden enthusiasm. "It's not fixed," Isylia explained, tracing a line in the air. "Who knows where the dimensions overlap? It is completely random and always changing, drifting like clouds. But... there are known places. Anchors. Places where the barrier is thin."

She pointed to the illusion.

"If you sail far enough across the Ocean of Storms, past the edge of the map, you may or may not cross the 'Boundary' and find yourself in the Abyssal Trench… the Water Realm."

"If you climb the Staircase of the Sky… the highest mountains where the air freezes in your lungs… there is a great chance that you can walk right off the peak and into the Titan Realm."

"If you walk into a Mist-Gate in the deepest, oldest part of the Forest, you can arrive in the Verdant Realm of the Elves."

Sol's eyes were shining. "Oh, Great Goddess," he said, clasping his hands together theatrically. "Can you please share your valuable insights of these realms? A mere mortal like me could only dream of such knowledge."

He was slowly starting to understand her personality. She was extremely vain, arrogant, and fickle. If you put it positively, she was pure-hearted and simple. Negatively? She was a brat. A brat with cosmic power. And brats loved to be praised.

"Humph," she huffed, lifting her chin, clearly satisfied with his humble attitude. "Since you beg so nicely."

She waved her hand. The illusion shifted violently.

A/N: This poor author is in need of your gifts as boosts, to fill up my creative juices, because all of this worldbuilding is taking a toll on my poor brain.

Okay enough joke, it's because this poor author has a dream, a dream to enter top 10 of All Dates Bestseller ranking(even if just for a day) , but Webnovel marketing team is usual ignoring us and not give ultimate features like library, banners etc. Through which we can easily enter that ranking, even though other books with lower stats keep getting them.

So, we can only rely on ourselves, that's why this poor author is shamelessly asking for some Super gifts to help us ascend to that raking.

In return, I can't promise lots of chapters, because it's already taking my all to plan and write these lore heavy chapters, but I promise to provide you guys with a unique epic experience.

Thank you!
