Kobold Delivery System: The Goddesses Won't Leave me Alone!

Chapter 14: A Cute Rabbit?

"Hmm, guys, I kinda need my arms," Ragnar said helplessly, looking at the two women beside him.

"No!" "No way," Aria and Sarah said simultaneously, each gripping Ragnar's arms more tightly.

It didn't help that Kalia kept looking at them longingly, as if she wanted to take their place.

Val just gave Ragnar a smirk and nodded at him. He even called all the Kobold men and took them with him so they could go back to the hideout and prepare to move back to the village.

He was a real wingman, Ragnar thought, but that feeling vanished as soon as they reached the tribe.

Why? Because he could literally see a group of elders preparing to escape.

Nudging the girls to let him off for a moment, Ragnar leapt, running in their direction.

A gust of wind brushed his fur. He stood in front of them in the blink of an eye, grabbed one elder's head, and didn't even bother to hear her explanation, he just smashed it.

Seeing that, all the elders shook in their places; some even claimed they had children.

But his hesitation vanished as soon as Kalia's words reached him. "They are lying, Ragnar. None of them cared about their kids, they even disowned them."

Hearing it, Ragnar's eyes lit with cold vengeance, and he continued killing them. This time, it was slow and painful.

Looking at the pool of blood forming under him, he wiped his hands and walked back to the group.

There stood Kalia, checking the goods they tried to run away with, and Sarah was counting their number to see if any of them had managed to escape.

Aria held her spear vigilantly, checking for any enemies.

As soon as they saw him walking back to them, they relaxed, showing rare smiles.

"So, where should we live now?" Aria said, looking at Ragnar.

Kalia chipped in, "Of course it's the chief's village hut."

Sarah looked weirdly at her mother, because she seemed fixated on the idea that Ragnar was now the village chief.

But the idea soon vanished from her head, replaced by something even more important.

"He hasn't chosen his wife yet!"

All three women looked at Ragnar simultaneously. Ragnar, feeling the pressure increase on him even more, smiled wryly.

Killing Rax had been so easy, yet he was having his hardest time now confronting them.

Aria walked to the hut, saying to Ragnar, "I'm waiting for you to join me for our sleep. Don't take too long."

Hearing the word "our," Sarah looked between the two of them, her mouth hanging open and her eyes wide. "Guys, are you sleeping together?"

Kalia looked at Ragnar with hot eyes, the kind that said she wanted to continue this morning activity.

Seeing that, Ragnar rubbed the back of his head and gestured to the back.

"It seems I saw an elder sneaking away. I'm going to take a look."

Running from the place, the cold night wind brushed his face, sobering him a little.

He slowed his movements and enjoyed the night breeze.

As he kept walking, he suddenly heard movement in the bushes he passed.

Stopping, he changed his destination and walked slowly toward the bush the sound came from.

Until…

Pow!

A white rabbit with red eyes jumped out of the bushes.

It was the cutest creature Ragnar had ever met since coming here.

"Are you hungry, little one?" Ragnar said, crouching slightly and reaching into his pocket.

He took some bread and kept feeding him.

The rabbit made a cute sound and jumped around Ragnar, rubbing itself on his legs lovingly.

Ragnar, ever weak to cuteness, took critical damage and reached down to lift him up.

Walking back to the tribe, he needed to tell Aria and the women about him. But they wouldn't throw him out, right?

"I mean, who could have the heart to throw such a cute rabbit?" said Ragnar, rubbing his face against the rabbit's face.

Entering the hut, he found all the women sitting at the table. Usually enough, no one was fighting.

He had some doubts looking at them, but he ignored them and, pushing the rabbit onto the table, said,

"Hey, look what I found outside. I want to keep this rabbit. Do you all agree?"

Kalia nodded at him as a matter of fact.

She didn't bother at all, she knew Ragnar was weak to cute animals.

Sarah agreed, jumping happily.

She even took the rabbit and rubbed him on herself like soap.

Meanwhile, Aria kept looking at the rabbit with caution. Noticing her, Ragnar asked,

"What is it, Aria? Is everything fine?"

Hearing his question, Aria snapped from her thoughts and replied absentmindedly, "Nothing. It's just that this rabbit seems very intelligent.

He could even know we are talking about him.

I can see that clearly from the way he moves his eyes."

Hearing that, everyone stopped and looked at the rabbit, but he kept moving naturally.

"Oh, there is no way, Aria. You must be imagining things," both Kalia and Sarah said at the same time.

As dinner time drew closer, Aria walked to the kitchen to prepare the meal.

It was both because she was the best cook here and because Ragnar personally told her he liked her cooking.

As everyone kept busy with their tasks, suddenly the rabbit froze, checking left and right.

Seeing no one notice him, he jumped slowly to the window.

Reaching the open window, with one swift jump, he went through it. As soon as his legs touched the grass, his body started shaking.

With a puff of smoke, what was originally a cute white rabbit became a curvy woman with rabbit ears.

Seeing Ragnar's profile as he lifted tree chunks, helping with construction, her red eyes filled with obsession.

"Finally, Ragnar. It has been 19 years since we met that day, and we have finally reunited.

Time for us to become husband and wife and make a lot of little rabbits," she said.

She could clearly remember the day they met, that fateful day that changed everything in their lives.
