"Like this!" he said, reaching behind him and pulling something out, a playful grin on his face.
"Tada~ look at this magical item Aria brought me," he said, spinning it in his fingers.
I blinked and tilted my head. "Aria? Really?" I said, my voice carrying both surprise and amusement.
I looked over at her, my eyes softening.
Beneath all that tough warrior person, she really had a soft heart.
Aria's mouth was stuffed with cake at that very moment.
She could only manage a small nod in response, which somehow made her even more endearing.
All three of us immediately burst into laughter, watching her little struggle.
Her cheeks flared red like fire as she pushed the plate away from her, muttering something about going to her room to finish eating.
I couldn't help but grin at her cuteness.
Meanwhile, Elaris cleared his throat, drawing my attention back to him.
"Anyway," he said, eyes flicking nervously between us, "these sunglasses are a magical item that obscure seeing women's naked bodies.
I could only see their faces, and I couldn't see their bodies"
I raised an eyebrow at him. It was too convenient, my lips twitched as a small smile formed.
"Where did you… bring this from?" I asked, curious now.
Elaris fiddled with the hem of his skirt, his cheeks reddening slightly as he answered.
"My teacher Lucy came to the tribe, and gave me this as our 'wedding gift'" he murmured shyly, barely meeting my eyes.
I couldn't help but chuckle softly, "That's good, I'll find time to thank her properly."
I said, ruffling his hair.
Sarah, who had been silently observing us, finally chimed in
"For swimsuits, me and the girls are going to pick them up.
You should go with Elaris and choose one for him. He's been insisting that you choose one for him."
I blinked, taken aback. "Really?" I glanced at Elaris.
He looked away, his face heating up, His voice was a soft cute murmur, almost like a hamster squeak. "Sarah… you said you wouldn't tell him!"
Sarah laughed, leaning back against the couch. "I know Ragnar would definitely like to hear that," she said, her grin widening.
I felt a warmth spread through me, and before I realized it, I had pulled Elaris to me and set him on my lap.
His small frame fit perfectly against mine, he relaxed his whole body against my broad chest.
I reached for his hat and slowly removed it, brushing a strand of hair from his face.
My lips met his in a gentle teasing kiss. I whispered close to his ear, "You're too cute to exist."
Elaris froze for a moment before letting out a soft giggle, nuzzling against me just slightly.
Sarah clapped her hands together, snapping us out of our private moment.
"Anyway, you two should hurry up and go buy swimsuits for Elaris.
I'll wait for Aria to finish her cake, and the rest of us girls will head out to shop."
I looked down at Elaris, still perched on my lap, and tried to ask about what color or style he preferred. But Sarah cut in before he could answer.
Elaris's small hands fidgeted against my chest, and I felt his nervous energy. He looked up at me, his eyes wide and almost pleading.
I smiled softly, giving his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "Alright, then we'll see what we find for you" I said.
Meanwhile, Bella, who was sleeping lazily on the couch, raised her hands weakly. "Leave me sleeping here, I've already chosen my swimsuit."
I chuckled softly and stood, lifting Elaris into my arms like he weighed nothing at all.
His arms wrapped lightly around my neck, his head resting against my shoulder. My hands held his ass.
We made our way back toward the market, our steps light and full of quiet excitement.
I could feel Elaris shifting slightly in my arms, making cute squeaks.
We passed the familiar stalls, the chatter of merchants and the scent of fresh bread mixing with the warm breeze.
I could see Elaris's eyes scanning the displays, though his focus seemed more on me than anything else.
I smiled to myself, realizing just how attached he had become to me, and how easily I had become attached to him.
We talked quietly about random things, teasing each other in the way we always did, and it made the walk feel shorter than it was.
Even so, I couldn't shake the nagging thought in the back of my mind that we had forgotten something important.
Something wasn't right, something we had overlooked in our excitement.
I glanced down at Elaris, his small hands resting on my chest, and realized the truth at the same moment.
We had forgotten just one important thing.
We didn't find any open clothes shops, and the only shop which was currently open was that old woman's shop.
'Should I go back or not, after all what's happened this morning' but seeing Elaris expectations, I couldn't find it in my heart to say no.
So taking his arm, we made our way towards the old woman's shop, little did we know she was already expecting us to come.
We found her shop, still open and we made our way in, she welcomed us, but this time her eyes rested longer on me than usual.
"Welcome back, you were the customer from this morning right, I hope the lady liked the swimsuit."
I nodded, "yes, and this time, I'm bringing Elaris here with me to choose one"
The old woman smiled and looked at Elaris, "So, What's kind of swimsuits this little lady like"
I wanted to correct her, but Elaris tugged my arm, and answered her, "please show me the women section"
The old woman nodded at him and pointed to the left rack, "there you will find swimsuits fit your size, in all styles and colours"
Elaris pulled me with him and we both walked there, looking at his side, I could see determination in his eyes.
