Villain's transmigration: Breaking every heroine into a Yandere

Chapter 40: Forming the core

Even while using the Author's halo, he could feel their presence crawling on his skin.

If he could, he would have already killed them all and finished the ending right here, but he knew he couldn't; he couldn't go beyond this point.

While he was there, yet another plan came to him.

'Why don't I kill the mc right now?'

But he discarded that idea immediately. The protagonist was the protagonist, not an extra that could die for no reason.

He probably needs points equivalent to change the ending to kill the MC.

So, he went back again. He can't just spend the story points and not cultivate.

In the blink of an eye, he was once again in the same position as before, inside his room.

After he was back, he stopped using the Author's halo.

"System?" He once again called out to the system.

And this time, it finally responded.

[Yes, host.]

With this, he was sure of two things. Either, Author's halo works on everything, or the system is making him a fool.

The kind of attitude he has, he never truly trusted this system, nor the so-called people who pulled him into this world.

If he wishes to secure his future, he has to do something about them both and this aspect of his could be the key to it.

There were two reasons why he went to see the end of the world just now.

One was to see if he could kill them right now.

Another one was to actually look for Earth. He wondered if Earth was among the countless planets of his world, but he did not find it there.

So there could be only two conclusions after this.

Earth is beyond nothingness too.

Second one... Earth is not real, or this world is not real.

"Nothing. Release all the cultivation that you have stored."

He shook his head and decided to look for more answers later on. For now, he needed to cultivate.

He couldn't use the system in the Author's halo, so he couldn't absorb the mana inside it, either.

He needed to bring them all out at once and absorb them.

Following his order, the system released all the stored mana from his storage.

At the same time, the system released all the mana, and Noah activated the Author's halo to prevent the disaster.

It would have caused a catastrophe there if Noah hadn't used the Author's halo. That amount of mana was enough to blow up this palace in an instant.

Using the Author's halo, he looked around him, the room was filled with mana, and that same mana was about to explode inside the room.

'I used it at the perfect time.'

He exhaled deeply when he saw his surroundings. A second late, and he wouldn't have been able to reverse the damage without spending a lot of story points.

"Let's start then."

He decided not to waste any time anymore. Using the aspect 'Purest Mana' and 'Author's halo', he commanded the mana around him, which obediently followed his will.

Gathering more and more inside his mind, he was soon about to reach the Peak tier.

Unlike before, there was no system notification to guide him, but at this stage, he actually did not need that.

He could sense it clearly, very clearly in fact.

In this state, he was able to feel every bit of mana around him and inside his mind.

It did not take him long before he reached the peak tier for the gathering stage, directly entering the next stage... The Refining stage.

This next stage is where everyone tries to refine the mana inside them into mana droplets.

The purer the mana you have, the more droplets you can form. Further on, these droplets slowly take the shape of a round core, which is the next stage.

This stage, in particular, was probably the easiest and fastest stage he could break through.

His aspect 'Purest Mana' had already turned every wisp of mana that he inhaled into the most pure form of energy possible.

With so much mana around him, he did not have to worry about anything at all.

He soon reached the Refining stage, Low tier.

His mind was already starting to form solid droplets of mana, gathering them to give it a round form, increasing its size with each passing time.

In a few moments, he broke through once again.

Refining stage, Mid-tier.

Refining stage, High tier.

The mana inside him already formed a bright blue core, around the size of a football.

But Noah couldn't stop there; he needed to reach the Peak tier for this, too.

And this was the most important part for him. He needed to be patient as the next stage was to form an actual core, not just give it the shape of a core.

Suddenly, the absorption rate and the amount needed to break through this stage increased a lot.

The large amount of mana that was gathered around him was visibly decreasing at a rapid pace.

The mana droplets inside his mind increased more and more, the size of the core inside his head was getting so much bigger that it already exceeded its previous size by more than 10 times.

Even after all that, it did not show any sign of stopping at all.

But this wasn't a matter to be panicked about; instead, it was good news.

This was a sign, that the core he was about to awaken was of good grade.

The more mana it required to reach the Core Formation Realm, the better the quality of the core.

He shouldn't be panicking about it and yet...

'Why is it not stopping at all? This is getting too intense.'

The big round ball inside his head went bigger and bigger.

The 10% of cultivation he received from his mother, someone who was at the Soul Forging realm, was already gone by half.

Any average person would have reached Core Expansion or even the Mana Heart stage with that much mana.

And here, he was struggling to even form a core.
