His words infuriated Rose. In anger, she glared at him, even felt as if she might cry cause he told her she was getting desperate.

'Did I seem that way? But isn't that what he wants from me?'

No matter what, she doesn't seem to get him. If her body isn't what he wants them what?

"Oh, don't worry, I will take it soon, but not now. Be patient, my slave. You are not going to be blessed so soon."

He flicked her forehead while saying that.

Tears welled up in her eyes because of the pain.

She looked at Noah with a pained expression, on the verge of crying.

When he saw her like that, something inside him snapped, and he couldn't control himself anymore.

Leaning towards her, he immediately took her lips on his and kissed her deeply.

His one hand went around her neck, holding her head in place, and another went towards her hips, lifting her, closing the little gap he had with her.

Rose unexpectedly did not resist at all, she understood there was no point in that anymore, but it still felt strange. It felt as if her body was wanting it more than she knew.

Without even realising, she was kissing him back too.

Both of them entwined their tongues, sucking their lips and exchanging their saliva, delving into a deep kiss where they were almost inseparable.

There was no room for them to even breathe, but they both didn't care.

As if the time itself did not matter to them, they just went on and on, not caring about anything.

While kissing Rose, Noah got up while lifting Rose.

"There, even better now." He announced proudly, praising the art he had just made.

Rose stared at him in daze, she couldn't seem to get in at all.

"Why?"

She spoke softly, her voice barely a whisper.

"Why are you doing this?" She asked, placing her hand on his chest.

He was a monster for her that she never liked, and even now, she doesn't. But for some reason, at least for now, at least for this moment, when she is being held by him in his embrace, she couldn't seem to hate him.

It wasn't love; she still has no feelings for him, but that doesn't mean she hates him right now.

"I don't seem to get you. Why do this to me?" She asked again.

Noah heard her but did not answer her.

'The fuck is she asking about?'

Yeah, he had no idea why she was asking that. He could guess what someone might think because of his knowledge about their character, but right now, he couldn't get a clear picture of what she might be asking.

So he did what any intelligent person would do.

Staying silent. The other party will explain themselves.

Rose also waited for a response from him, only to end up disappointed.

He wasn't answering.

'So it's not that?'

She had expected something about why he was acting like this.

It wasn't much different but she could still tell. The Noah, the devil, she knew wasn't exactly like this.

He was cold, heartless, always causing trouble, trying to assert his authority over others, and most of all... he was always angry.

Everything might feel the same about Noah right now, but she could sense it... the anger she used to feel from him wasn't there anymore.

Even when he kissed her, she unexpectedly felt good and wanted to continue doing that without stopping.

She could feel his emotions from that, too. He might have acted like she was his slave, but his kiss just now told her about his possessiveness for her.

He wanted to have her, no matter what.

And she felt as if she was an idiot for even wondering if that was love.

It was laughable, but for a moment she wondered if he was in love with her.

Completely unbelievable to be honest. If she were alone, she might have slapped herself to get out of that delusion.

There are countless women, much beautiful than her. There is no point risking his life over her revenge.

"Forget it." She said with a low tone, turning her head away from him.

'I feel like I did something bad. I didn't even do anything, though.'

He felt wronged without doing anything at all.

However, he wasn't going to let it slide.

He grabbed her neck from her back and made her face him once again, asking,

"How do you mean by forget it?"

He asked, but before he could say anything further, he stopped.

When he saw her right now, that wasn't the anger he had seen before, it was something else.

Disappointment perhaps? Or maybe ruined hope?

He couldn't say for sure, but he knew one thing, he did something without doing anything that made her like that.

But strangely enough, he did not get any notification for the in favourability.

He squinted his eyes for a second and retracted his hand.

"Fine. I won't ask anything."

Saying that, he put her on the bed once again and came down.

Fixing his clothes, he looked at her and at the stains of dark spots all over his dress.

Those were the marks formed from the sweet nectar dripping from her cave.

"Drink some water or you might die."

He couldn't help saying that. Looking at the mess on the floor, she really needed to drink water.

Rose turned her head away in embarrassment, even she couldn't believe how much she came.

Snap.

He snapped his fingers, within a second, fumes came out from his clothes, vapourising all the wetness from them.

All set and done, he looked at Rose once again and said,

"I don't know what happened just now and I don't know what you mean by that question. But if you meant why I am trying to help you, then you will know soon. If it's something else, then I don't know anything."

With that, he was calm. At least he responded to her. Now, whether that is a good response or not, he did not care.

Rose looked at him, her eyes wide. The sparkle she had lost just now seemed to be returning again. Not completely though.

That wasn't the answer she had hoped for, but it's at least something she needed to know.

'I should give her that.'

Noah thought and asked, "What realm are you on?"

Rose remained stunned for a moment before responding with, "Gathering realm."

He nodded his head and took out an Emperor rank mana stone from his storage.

When Rose saw what he took out, she was shocked. She could see it was a mana stone but couldn't tell which rank it was.

The aura it exuded was simply terrifying and immense.

Mana stones were already a rare element here, and only the rich had access to them.

Poor girl like her, hasn't even touched one before.

"Don't ask or say anything about this to anyone, even to me."

He threw the stone at her and said,

"I can't have my personal maid at just Gathering realm, can I? I want you to awaken your core by the time we head to the academy."
