"Your Honor!"
At that moment, a young man ran up to the middle-aged man, smiled kindly at George, and whispered, "Your Honor, this young man is George."
"What? You're sure? He's George?" The middle-aged man was confused, looking George up and down.
He wasn't supposed to be at least twenty-seven or twenty-eight? But this kid looked like he was only in his early twenties.
"No mistake," the young man nodded, pointing at Kent and shouting, "And I've confirmed it - this guy attacked first. George was just defending himself."
"Damn!"
The middle-aged man cursed in his mind. His face changed several times, and finally, he looked at George arrogantly. "Kid, I'm from Mirror Academy. Interested in joining us?"
"Mirror Academy?" The young man was shocked, and said, "Your Honor, are you crazy? We are..."
"Shut up!" The middle-aged man glared at him fiercely, and the young man immediately shut his mouth.
George was confused, and said, "Not interested."
"Kid, don't be ungrateful," the middle-aged man raised his head slightly, being arrogant. "Mirror Academy is a top school. Believe me, I can stop you from getting into any school."
"Believe me, I don't care," George didn't even bother to respond. He grabbed Lilia and turned to leave.
"Stop right there! Who gave you permission to leave?" Kent stepped forward, trying to block him.
"Get out of my way!" George yelled, and a strong aura burst from his body, making Kent back off in fear, falling down on his butt.
The crowd was shocked, and everyone looked at George with surprise.
"Hey, George, what are you doing here?" A voice called out. Liam saw George and ran over excitedly.
Then he noticed the middle-aged man standing nearby, and said in surprise, "Father, you came so fast. Have you already met George?"
The middle-aged man panicked and shouted, "Where did this brat come from? Don't just randomly call someone dad. Go away!"
He said that and immediately ran away.
The young man beside him quickly followed.
"What's going on?" Liam scratched his head, confused.
George patted his shoulder and said, "You might have mixed up someone. That guy was really arrogant. He doesn't look like someone who can be in the White Tiger Legion."
"Maybe," Liam didn't agree. Even if someone looked like his father, the young man was clearly a second-in-command. He couldn't look exactly the same, could he?
Then he noticed Lilia by George's side. His first thought was shock - he couldn't believe there was a woman this beautiful in the world.
He said, "George, walking around with such a beautiful girl - don't you worry your girlfriend will get jealous?"
"Girlfriend? What girlfriend?" George was confused. When did he have a girlfriend? He didn't even know about it.
Liam continued, "The little girl who was with you in the secret realm - her name is Lily."
George opened his mouth, but had no idea how to explain.
He did have a soft spot for Lily, but they weren't a couple yet.
Liam saw he didn't deny it, and whispered again, "Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret for you. By the way, you didn't know, did you? Your girlfriend is ranked second in the points. The Obsidian Academy recruited her too, just to get you."
"Lily second place?" George was surprised. Lily left the secret realm in just two days. Her points were only around 17,000. That can still be second? How bad are the others?
"Hey, George, it's really you!" A voice called out. A small figure ran over from the other side of the street.
Liam's face changed. He whispered, "George, the real one found you. I can't keep it a secret anymore."
It was Lily.
George looked at him in disbelief.
"Wow, you're even more beautiful than Elise and Melina, are you an angel?" Lily noticed Lilia and was immediately attracted by her amazing beauty.
Lilia also smiled. No woman would be unhappy when praised.
And this girl even thought she was more beautiful than Elise and Melina.
"Such a cute little girl," she said, petting Lily's head lovingly.
Liam was speechless. He never expected the two girls to get along so well. He gave George a thumbs-up in admiration.
George didn't want to talk to him. He said, "I'm going to the Class Changer Association. Do you two have anything to do?"
"I'm going there too, George, let's go together," Lily quickly said.
"I don't have anything else to do. I'll just walk with you two," Liam said.
George felt like Liam was like a light bulb, but he couldn't refuse. The three of them went together to the Class Changer Association.
...
On the other side, the middle-aged man saw George and the others leave, and sighed in relief. He muttered, "I almost got caught. Good thing I reacted in time."
This man was Liam's father, Thorne, the vice commander of the White Tiger Legion.
He had come to recruit George for the Obsidian Academy.
The young man also realized and said in admiration, "Commander, your performance just now could win an Oscar."
Thorne glared at him and said, "Don't talk if you don't have anything to say."
The young man smiled and continued, "But we came here to recruit George. What should we do next?"
Thorne felt a headache. He definitely couldn't show up again. After thinking, he said, "Liam seems to get along with him. Let him do it. Tell him if he messes it up, I'll break his legs when he gets home!"
The young man was speechless and said, "Commander, wasn't it you who messed it up?"
"I said, don't talk if you don't have anything to say. Come on, let's check out Aurion High and that Kent. It was those guys that made me look bad!" Thorne said angrily.
The young man shrugged helplessly and followed quickly.
...
George and the others arrived at the Class Changer Association. It was much quieter than before.
"Huh, is Carol not here?" He looked at the unfamiliar girl at the front desk and asked in confusion.
The girl smiled politely and said, "Sir, Carol has been transferred to another position. I'm in charge here now."
"Are you George?" The girl looked at George and suddenly recognized him. She asked in surprise.
George nodded and didn't deny it.
"Please wait a moment, I'll call the manager right away," the girl said, her attitude changing instantly. She hurried away.
George didn't care much about it.
Soon, the woman led a round-faced middle-aged man down from upstairs.
The middle-aged man saw George and immediately smiled like a chrysanthemum. "You're George, right? I've heard a lot about you. Hello, I'm the manager here, Elden."
Not Anna?
George finally realized. This man was the one who had taken over Anna's position.
He looked at the fat hand Elden extended and shook it politely.
"Mr. George, I heard about your results in the College Entrance Exam trial. You came first. Interested in joining Mirror Academy?" Elden smiled.
Mirror Academy?
George was confused. He thought about the middle-aged man he had met earlier, and said coldly, "Did you get the wrong person? You guys are supposed to be banning me, right?"
"What?" Elden was surprised. "Mr. George, did you get the wrong idea? I just got the news. We're specially recruiting you into Mirror Academy. One billion per year, and all the resources in the school will be yours first."
Liam and Lily stood beside him, and both looked shocked. The reward was too good.
Especially Liam, who was worried George might be tempted.
Even though he looked down on Mirror Academy, the offer made him a little interested.
But George didn't care. He didn't need the money, and the resources were tempting, but he had no interest in the three schools.
He said coldly, "Thanks, but I've already decided which school I'm joining."
Elden's smile disappeared, and his eyebrows furrowed. "Kid, don't be ungrateful. No other school can offer you this."
George didn't care. He had already started doubting the guy who had been so arrogant before, and now he was sure - the man was from Mirror Academy.
"Let's go," he said, not even bothering to sell his materials, and turned to leave.
"Hey, Mr. George, what are you doing here?" A voice came from the door. Anna walked in, and she politely nodded at Liam and Lily.
She noticed Lilia beside George and was shocked. She felt a little ashamed of herself.
George didn't pay attention to her reaction. He said, "I'm here to deal with some materials."
"Give them to me. I'm leaving for the Sovereign City in two days," Anna said coldly and gave Elden a quick look.
She knew what kind of person he was. If she gave the materials to him, he'd undervalue them and probably take some for himself.
"Wait."
Elden blocked the group and said coldly, "I'll take those materials."
"What? You want to force me to sell?" Anna shot back, staring straight at him.
"Anna, don't think just because the higher-ups promoted you makes you untouchable. In my eyes, you're just a regular person." Elden was angry, his words full of threats.
"I don't respect you either. George, let's go. Today I'll treat you. If you guys have nothing else to do, join us." Anna ignored Elden and led the group out.
"Damn!"
Elden cursed, his fat face shaking. "A cheap woman still dares to stand up to me. And this arrogant kid!"
"Manager," the woman said carefully, looking at him. "I just got the news - someone is impersonating one of our people and got in trouble with George."
