Game Invasion Era: Rise from Binding the Goblin King!

Chapter 77: Big Gains Divine Relics

"SR tier class change card. It might eventually become an SSR tier class. This Skybinder Mage class is even stronger than my Frost Mage!"

George looked at the card in his hand, surprised and a little upset.

If he had known this, he wouldn't have focused on being a Frost Mage.

A person can only control two classes at most. There's never been a case of a third class.

Should he give up his Frost Mage?

He didn't really want to.

Frost Mage had already reached S tier, and it had strong control skills. It was easy to control the battlefield.

If only he could open a third class.

"Elise, have you ever heard of anyone who mastered a third class?" George asked Elise, who had come closer.

"Mastering a third class?"

Elise frowned slightly and shook her head. "Master, each class has a different kind of Strength. It's barely possible to control two completely different kinds of Strength. But if you have more than two, it's very likely you'll burst apart. No one in history has ever mastered a third class."

George felt disappointed. He had heard this before, but he couldn't help feeling bitter about the SR Tier Skybinder Mage class change card in his hand.

"Master, that's not absolute," said Melina, who had just thought of something.

"Oh?" George looked at Melina, and hope lit up in his eyes again.

Melina said, "If you could combine the two class attributes. If the two classes' powers can merge without clashing, then it would be like one class. Then you could open another class."

"Really?" George's eyes lit up. He had already thought of combining Keeper and Frost Mage, and Eliex could do it.

It looked like after finishing Eliex's quest, he had to ask him to help combine his two class panels.

George took the Skybinder Mage class change scroll and checked the other items.

Three diamond rank gear.

Undead Robe held power of death and darkness, but George and his followers couldn't use it.

But this Withered Staff was good. It improved elemental understanding, especially rare wood element. It was perfect for Elise.

"Elise, this gear is for you," George said, handing the Withered Staff to her.

"Thank you, master!"

Elise was happy and took it with care.

"What's so special about a broken stick!" Constantine said, a little jealous. He was still using a War Hammer that had evolved from a goblin. His body had grown bigger, and the weapon no longer fit.

Elise gave him a look and didn't want to argue.

"Ah, this is something good!"

George looked at the badge in his hand, surprised by the information.

[Jason General Medal (diamond rank): +500 to four basic attributes, +2 Charisma, +1 luck, +5% to overall stats of subordinates. Includes skill: Battle Will

Battle Will: When activated, the overall strength of all your subordinates increases by 30%, lasts one hour, cooldown 24 hours]

It boosted the strength of George's subordinates, and it also worked on his pets.

The 5% overall stat boost didn't seem very strong, but for Constantine and others with over 7,000 stats, it was still a big improvement.

Especially the [Battle Will] skill that came with it, which boosted combat power by 30%. If they met Immortal King again, it would be easy to deal with.

George didn't hesitate. He put it on. His four basic stats shot up by 500, and his Charisma and luck also improved.

"Master, my strength seems to have increased," Constantine said in surprise. He guessed it was because of George.

Melina and the others were also clearly happy.

Elise looked at George and said in admiration, "Master, you seem even more handsome now."

That must be from the Charisma boost. Not just a better look, but a stronger personality.

"Hmph, ugly elf, you don't deserve the master. Don't dream too much," Constantine said with a sneer.

Elise and Melina both gave him a look of dislike.

"I just want to stay by the master's side forever. That's all I need," Elise said softly.

Melina nodded and whispered, "Me too."

George smiled, looking at the two girls in front of him. Elise was graceful and elegant, a little gentle. Melina was bold and confident, with a perfect figure. Their looks were totally different, but both were top-tier beauties.

He said, "Having you two by my side makes me very satisfied."

The two girls blushed and looked down shyly.

Constantine frowned and muttered under his breath, "Oh no, the master is being corrupted by the evil elf and the tricky human..."

George gave him a glare and checked the other loot.

Two Soul Crystals and three Shadow Crystals—both rare items.

He used two Soul Crystals right away. His soul strength went up by 200 points. His senses became clearer, even seeing the tiny hairs on Elise's smooth face.

His current perception was even better than the elves. If he could change to a strong archer class, he could get even more power.

George felt excited. He was no longer satisfied with just three classes.

Suddenly, a soft hum filled the air. A weak soul energy stirred. From Immortal King's body, a ghost slowly formed.

"Who!"

Constantine roared and stepped in front of George, watching the ghost carefully.

The ghost took shape and became a handsome young man.

"Human, don't be afraid. I don't have bad intentions. I was a general of Skyforge Empire, Count Jason." The young man spoke calmly and gently.

George didn't expect this handsome young man to be a general.

It was probably like when they killed the Screaming Banshee. He had awakened Jason's soul from before.

The young man continued, "Do you know how Skyforge Empire is doing now?"

"Skyforge Empire?" George frowned. That must be a different world's country. He didn't know much about it.

Melina said, "Skyforge Empire was destroyed by the demon race over 1,700 years ago."

"Skyforge Empire was destroyed?" Jason looked sad, then slowly calmed down. "Oh, I didn't realize so much time had passed. I'm sorry, Veyra. I didn't protect you..."

Veyra was the Screaming Banshee who guarded the first level of the tomb. She was also his wife.

George hesitated, then told him the truth.

"Veyra, why did you do that?" Jason was sad, and tears ran down his eyes. "I gave my whole life to Skyforge Empire, but the one I hurt the most was you..."

He looked toward the first chamber, recalling his memories with Veyra. His expression was a mix of joy and sadness.

"I miss hearing your song again..." he whispered to himself.

"You mean that witch's song? You must be crazy," Constantine muttered by his side. The Screaming Banshee's song was weird. Even the Golden Flame Dragon couldn't survive it.

"Human, can you do me a favor?" Jason wiped his eyes, then looked at George with a pleading expression.

George said, "You can tell me. I can't promise I can do it."

"I want you to kill the demon Count, Death Knight · Aaron." Jason clenched his teeth and said coldly.

Aaron had killed his beloved wife and tens of thousands of his soldiers. But he no longer had the strength to take revenge. He could only entrust George.

George shook his head, sighing, "I'm sorry, but I can't help. I'm not a match for Aaron."

The demon race's Count was at least level 60, a boss of SSR tier or higher! George's current strength couldn't even touch him.

"I know that," Jason quickly said. "But I feel like Aaron is in danger. His control over me is getting weaker. Recently, our soul connection has even broken. Otherwise, when you killed me, he would have sensed it and come to the third chamber to trap you forever."

Aaron in danger?

George frowned and said, "Are you sure? Even so, it must be because he met a stronger enemy. I'm definitely not a match for him."

"No," Jason shook his head. "It's because of a weakening soul force. It seems like some kind of backlash. Also, the death tomb only has four levels. Besides Aaron, there are no other strong ones. If someone else entered, I wouldn't have failed to sense it. Most importantly, only by killing me can you get the key to the fourth level."

Soul weakening?

George felt a bit tempted. The demon race had many secret techniques, and their power was strong. But if he practiced them recklessly, he might suffer a soul backlash and his strength would drop greatly. Some people might even die.

If Jason was telling the truth, this Aaron's strength must have been seriously damaged.

George thought for a moment and said, "If I help you kill Aaron, what can you give me?"

He also wanted to kill this demon Count, but he wouldn't do it for free. He wanted to get something from Jason.

Jason had been a general of Skyforge Empire, a Count. He must know some secrets.

After thinking for a moment, he made a decision and said, "This is a secret of Skyforge Empire. I shouldn't have told you, but since Skyforge Empire is already destroyed, it's better for you to get it than for it to fall into the demon race's hands."

Surely there was a secret!

George was eager but didn't speak.

Jason continued, "The demon race attacked Skyforge Empire because of this treasure. It's a divine relic that can make you become a god!"

"Become a god?" George was shocked.

He remembered that Blazing Angel had a bit of divine blood. That was why the Blazing Angel knight became the strongest class.

Among humans, there were War Gods, but they weren't real gods. Anyone over level 60 could be honored as a War God.

But to truly become a god, you had to break through level 100.

For hundreds of years, no one had ever broken through level 100 and become a real god. Not even the Blazing Angel knights with divine blood could do it.

To become a god was impossible.

And now, Skyforge Empire had a divine relic. How could George not be excited?
