"Only five minutes left. Looks like we're going to be chilling." Angela smiled.

"Oh my gosh. You really want to jinx us, huh?" Addison watched movies, so she knew that saying words like that was bad news.

"Addy, you need to stop taking what you see in movies as something that would happen in real life. Those words only trigger the enemies to come for dramatic effect, not because we're summoning them or something."

BOOOOM

The door broke down, shattering Angela's ice as well.

Addison looked at Angela. "You were saying?"

"Fuck off!"

A woman dove into the room, an arm cannon morphing out of her own skin, blasting Angela in the chest. She was sent flying into the furthest wall, getting the wind knocked out of her.

"We can't let them override the system! Stop them!" The woman shouted, and three more women ran into the room.

"Angela! Get your ass up!" Addison blasted one of the women, but her energy beams went right through her as if they had never touched her at all.

"Fuck, she can phase through objects!" Addison kept shooting at her, but the woman continued to run through the attacks.

Right as she was about to touch Addison, a pillar of ice stopped her in her tracks, the woman's entire body frozen inside the pillar.

Angela dusted her shoulders and rubbed her belly from the attack she had just taken earlier. "Look at that, I just saved you. Thank me, bitch."

Addison didn't respond, pushing Angela out of the way, and shocking the woman who could phase with lightning, knocking her out.

"I don't even wanna hear what you're going to say." Angela sighed.

Two other women came at them, one who could shoot energy blasts like Addison, and another who could create vibrational frequencies by touching any form of matter.

"You handle that woman, I've got this one!" Angela chased after the woman who could create energy blasts because she knew that Addison would have an easier time fighting her.

"Ready to get frozen, bitch?!" Angela created a bow and arrow out of ice, firing it toward the woman.

"No, but I'm ready to burn you to the ground!" The woman blasted the arrow with her energy, barely missing Angela's side.

"Hey! Only I'm allowed to make puns that revolve around my power!"

"Heh, you don't even have powers anymore. You're barely a woman!"

That set Angela off. She froze the whole area, not even caring about Addison and what was going on with her, but it was a part of the whole plan Angela thought of.

The woman, knowing that being in an ice environment was bad for her, instantly evaporated the ice, forming a thick fog that slightly blocked everyone's perception.

'Heh, Jin taught me how to do this!' Angela slowly froze the fog as it seeped into the woman's body. Little by little, the woman started to freeze internally, but once she was able to realize what was happening to her, it was too late, and the woman's body became an iceicle, dropping to the ground and shattering.

"Hahahahahahahaha! I won!"

"Yeah, good for you! A little help here!" Addison was having a difficult time with her opponent. Her energy blasts kept getting disrupted by the vibrations, and no matter how much she increased the intensity, her attacks wouldn't go through.

"Oh, so now you need me?" Angela froze the ground, but the woman stomped on it, shattering the ice.

"We were always in this together!"

"This isn't some high school musical! We're supposed to handle things alone!"

"You both are going to die." The woman smirked

"Addy, are they robots or something? I could have sworn they all said that already."

Addison nodded. "They did. Maybe they're stuck on repeat."

"I'M NOT A ROBOT!" The woman clapped her hands, and a burst of vibrational waves knocked the two of them away.

[Override sequence is being interrupted.]

The girls looked over to the woman who blasted Angela in the stomach when they first arrived.

"Ah, shit! Look what you did, Addison! You made me forget about that bitch!"

"I didn't make you forget about anything!"

"If we fail Jin, just know that it's your fault!"

The woman trying to break into the terminal laughed. "Hahahahahaha! You two suck at working together. This is why you all will—" Her neck snapped, and she died.

Then, the woman who could create vibrational waves had her heart ripped out by some force, and she died as well.

"No need to thank me. I just saw that you two were pretty useless, so I decided to help." Brittany said as she walked into the room.

"Bitch." Both Addison and Angela grumbled.

"Hmm?" Addison noticed that Jin wasn't with her. "Where's Jin?"

"He's—" The entire space station shook violently. "Well, that was him. He's fighting the speaker right now."

[Override is complete. Rebooting is required.]

"Are you serious?!"

"Don't tell me that's all you got, Jin?!" The speaker was knocking Jin around, punching him in the gut, uppercutting him in the face, and slamming his head into the walls.

Jin did fight back, kicking Carlnitus's leg, breaking it, then blasting Carlnitus in the chest, leaving a magic circle on it, which then exploded, opening the guy's chest up.

"Heh, good trick. I wonder what ability that is. But it doesn't matter. I'm the perfect life form anyway." His chest healed nearly instantly, as well as his leg, and Carlnitus was up as if nothing had happened.

"Ahh, well, I guess it makes sense that you've undergone the Omega Project as well." Jin knew what Phoenix Core healing looked like.

"That's right. This also means that I can do things like this!" He pulled Jin toward him with telekinesis, then slammed his fists into Jin's belly, blasting him out of the space station with an energy beam.

"Argh!!"

'What the hell? He has multiple powers as well?'

"I've been waiting for this!" Carlnitus said, leaping out of the space station to confront Jin.

"You've interfered with our plans for the last time, killed my people for the last time, and now, I will kill you!" He kicked Jin onto an asteroid, the impact being silent since they were in space.

The only reason they could hear each other was that their power kits were on the same frequency.

"Heh, hehe, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" Did Jin get beaten up? Yes. Did he get overwhelmed by Carlnitus? Yes. But what did he do to prevent this moment? Nothing. All he did was laugh.
