Thrusted into a world ruled by women

Chapter 122: What is that? Water?

"The landing is successful. I repeat, the landing was successful. We were able to touch down on the asteroid."

A ship landed on a massive asteroid that was floating in space, traveling toward the planet. It wasn't on a collision course, but it would brush past the world slightly.

When scientists were tracking the trajectory of the asteroid, they noticed that it had passed the planet a few times over the past few thousand years. According to their calculations, this would be the 4th time it has come close to the planet.

"I can't believe we're on an asteroid that only comes around the world every few thousand years! This is so exciting!" One scientist said as she stepped off the ship.

"I heard that the contents on this asteroid are dangerous, so we need to be careful. If you see any green, then that means it's the stone that can make espers sick, okay? We're looking for the silver mineral that's on this rock." Another woman, most likely a guard, warned her.

Three more people stepped off the ship, two being guards, while the last one was a male researcher.

"Luckily for me, I won't be affected by this poison rock." He chuckled.

"Heh, the one time when being a man is actually good." One guard joked.

"I know, right?"

The ream set out to the part of the asteroid where the contents they were looking for would be found. Their suits had electromagnetic soles, so they didn't need to jump around to get around.

"Careful, don't venture off to the right. You see all that green? Danger." The guard warned once more.

"I thank you for reminding us, but we're not children. I'm sure we know that going there will cost us our lives." The woman researcher scoffed.

"Just doing my job, ma'am. Carry on."

They continued walking until they reached the deposit of the silver ore they were looking for inside of a crater. It was a bit shiny since the sun was slightly beaming in this direction, but it wasn't blinding.

"That just looks like silver." The man said bluntly.

"Yeah, but it's worth over a million times more. When the sample of the green rock was taken back to the planet, we sent a sample of this silver metal as well. While the green rock was stolen by the Sons of Adam, this silver metal wasn't." The researcher said while sliding down the crater to get closer.

"Why is it worth so much?" One guard asked

"It can absorb and disburse energy, it's extremely light, it can be used for building or even weapons, it's stronger than the strongest metal on the planet and is more cost-efficient and self sustaining, than steel, it bonds with technology perfectly, and it can even amplify powers, like how a magnifying glass can amplify the rays of the sun."

"Ahh, that is very valuable."

"Indeed. Let's get to digging." The researcher placed her hand on the metal, then used her power to carve some of it out of the asteroid.

Everyone pitched in, helping the mining process go quickly.

"Hmm? What's this?" The man had removed one piece of the silver ore, looking down into the hole beneath it.

"Is that...water?" He took a sample, and when he looked at it, he noticed that it wasn't water.

"What is it?" The other researcher asked

"My computer can't analyze it. Hold on, it's saying that this substance isn't even a liquid." The man got a bigger, metal container that was the size of a bowl. He dunked it in the liquid, and instead of some lingering on the outside of the container, all of it flowed into it instead.

"Odd. We should study this as well."

BEEP BEEP

"What does this say?" The guard asked

"It's saying that this is a...living organism." The man was flabbergasted.

"A living organism. As in, an alien?" A guard asked

"No. Living organisms don't always mean alien. It can be bacteria and other microbes." The male looked at the vial in his hand, giving the larger container to one of the other guards to put back on the ship.

"But this could be something else that we don't know of. Amazing! We need to get these samples back to the lab!" Suddenly, the vial started shaking.

"What are you doing?" The guard asked

"What do you mean? I'm not going any—" The vile exploded and the 'water', which was clear in color, by the way, latched on to the man's space gear.

"What the hell?" The 'water' started climbing up his arm, nearly reaching his neck.

"Ahhh! Get it off! Get it off!"

One of the guards had telekinetic powers, so she tried to pull the 'water' off the male researcher, but it didn't work.

"What the hell is going on?!"

Thinking quickly, the other guard sliced off the man's arm, stopping the water from reaching any other part of his body.

"Arghhhhhhhh!!! My armmmm!!" His space suit activated a precaution if the suit was compromised, sealing the gap. It also administered first aid.

"It's okay, we can regenerate it back home."

The man understood, but he was still in pain.

"What the hell was that shit?" The woman researcher asked.

"No idea. But we should leave now and report what we found." The main guard suggested

"Agreed. This isn't what I signed up for."

Right as they got up to leave, the arm of the man suddenly reattached to his body, and the 'water' fully engulfed his body in mere moments.

"What the fuck?!"

"Push him away!"

"ARGHHH! W-WHAT'S HAPPENING?! IT BURNS! ARHGHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The water seeped through the suit, touching the man's skin, and once it did, it started dissolving his entire body until there was nothing left but a watery spacesuit.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

"BLAST THAT SHIT!"

The two guards started firing away at the walking space suit, hoping their energy rifles would take it down.

"Run! Head back to the ship, doctor!"

"R-Right!" She ran for her life, calling the other guard ahead to alert her about he situation.

"I'm going to burn this shit to a crisp!" The main guard ignited into flames, then blasted the 'water' until there was nothing left.

At least, that's what she thought.

The 'water' wasn't affected by her flames at all, and it chopped off her head without any effort.

"Ohhh fuck! Oh fuck! Oh fuck!" The other guard tried to push the 'water' away with her powers, but for some reason, they had no effect on it.

"T-That's im—" The water left the suit and slammed into her space helmet, shattering it and dissolving the woman.

After dissolving her, it dissolved the other woman, then turned its attention to the ship that was taking off.

"Go, go, go! We need to go, NOW!" The researcher shouted

"Yeah, I know!"

"Hello? Come in? This is Doctor Bailey. We've uncovered some type of alien life form that is, holy shit, it's on fire! Get us out of here!"

The ship finally rose, then started to take off. But right before it did, something pulled at the ship.

Doctor Bailey turned around and saw the 'water' hold up its 'hand' to prevent the ship from going anywhere.

"I-It appears that this alien can absorb the powers of women they dissolve. It's currently preventing us from taking off. If you can hear us, please send help, or we'll—Oh god! That thing is coming for us! We need to—ARGHHHHH! N-NOO! ARGHHH!"

Both Doctor Bailey and the last guard died, being dissolved by the 'water.'
