"STIKE NUMBER 7 BABY!" Angela got her seventh strike in a row, a seven-bagger. She felt extremely good, even though Addison and Brittany also had the same score as her, getting strikes evrey time.

The reason she was so excited was that Jin was sucking so badly that you would assume a child was playing right now.

He guttered the first round, or frame (bowling sucks). Then, he managed to hit some pins, but missed getting the spares or whatever it's called. After that, it was just the same thing over and over again.

He even used his powers, and he was still doing terribly. It was as if he were cursed by the bowling gods.

"My turn." Jin got up, placed a spell on his bowling ball, then gave that badboy a sweet...roll? He tossed that shit onto the lane, and it was rolling like balls do in this situation, dammit.

"Come on! Come on! That's it! Gimme a strike! All I need is a strike!" Jin was sweating and was anxious. He needed at least one strike to shut Angela up.

Right as his ball was about to hit the pins, it just swerved to the side and went into the gutter as if someone had moved it. The physics of that movement made no sense at all.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! BRITTANY!"

"Hey, that wasn't me! I promise!" She was telling the truth.

Addison and Angela also didn't do anything to the ball either. That's just how cursed Jin was at bowling.

"Fuck me, man."

"Okay. When?" Angela asked

"Shut up."

"It's my turn." Addison went up, grabbed her ball, then got another strike. "This is too easy."

"You all are cheating, I already know it!" Jin refused to believe that he was this bad at bowling.

"Don't worry, Jin. I think you're doing your best." Addison smiled at him.

That only made him feel even worse.

"Thanks, I guess. I knew I should have challenged them to a fighting game instead. I'd beat the shit out of these clowns!"

"You think you can beat me in Jekken 8?" Brittany was a huge Jekken player, so she took that as a challenge.

"Hell yeah, I can. I'd beat Angela in Mortal Fighting 12 and Addison in Street Attacker 6! I know those games are the ones you all are best at, and I'm better than all of you!" Jin wanted all the smoke.

Angela was not going to let her honor be attacked like that. "Ohoho! You little rat! You think you can beat me in Mortal Fighting 12? The last time we played, I...okay, you won, but it was close!"

"Who won?" Jin asked

"You did, but it was close!"

"Who won?" He asked again.

"Dick!"

"That's what I thought."

Addison, on the other hand, was wondering why Jin would think that he could beat her in Street Attacker 6 when she was the grand champion of a tournament.

"Jin, you know I'm just that girl, right? Like, I'm her. I'm, what do you call it, Goated?"

"Addison, you're better than the nobodies you played against. You haven't seen what I can do!"

While the four of them were bickering about who could beat whom in their favorite fighting games, crazy things were going on in space at the same time.

[Moon Base]

"Director Blackshore!" A scientist called out to her.

"Please, call me Trinity. I'm only 30. I don't wanna feel like an old woman."

"Understood. Director Trinity, this creature, this Láspi, is very interesting."

"How so?"

"Look at this. We managed to get a piece of the Láspi to test its resistance to many things. So far, nearly nothing worked. Acid, poison, bacteria, diseases, fire, lava, and more. This creature is just immune to it."

Trinity took a look at all of their research and was greatly impressed. "That's amazing! Is there a substance that managed to harm this creature?"

"Yes. We learned that anything with charged electrons can harm the creature."

"So lightning, electricity, electromagnetic waves, and so on?" Trinity asked

"Yes. But that is not all. Radiation can also harm it. However, it has some resistance to it. Prolonged exposure harms the creature."

"I see. Make sure to send this information to Mrs Horton on the ground."

"We're giving her live updates every second."

"Good. How is the extraction going?" Trinity asked

"Great! Since we're using robots to collect the stones, metal, and interact with the Láspi, we haven't had any problems dealing with it."

Trinity liked how efficiently her people were operating. "Good. Let me know if anything else comes up."

"Understood. Wait, what's this doing?" The scientist peeked into the reinforced glass box that the Láspi was in.

"Is something wrong?" Trinity asked

"I don't know. The Láspi is shaking uncontrollably; it's as if it's spazzing out. This is something that I haven't seen before." The scientist started documenting what she was seeing.

"DIRECTOR BLACKSHORE!" Another scientist came running inside the room.

"I said not to...sigh... never mind. What is it?"

"It's the Láspi! It just exploded!"

"What?!"

Just then, the piece of the Láspi in the lab exploded as well. The explosion wasn't catastrophic or anything. It was more akin to a water balloon popping.

"D-Did it die?" The scientist asked

"Who knows. We need to document this so that—" The glass cracked, cutting off the first scientist who was speaking.

"D-Did the glass just crack?" Trinity asked

"Y-Yes, director."

"That glass is reinforced as well, right?"

"Yes, director. Super reinforced."

"So the fact that it cracked is bad news, right?"

"Very bad news."

"You two should run now," Trinity suggested.

The second scientist ran for his life. The second one didn't, wanting to stay behind to document what was going to happen.

"Look, director, the Láspi is reforming!"

Trinity's eyes widened. "No! It's not reforming! It's evolving! MO—" It was too late.

The strand of the Láspi broke out of the glass cage, sending a shockwave of telekinesis that blasted the two women back.

The Láspi looked like slime that traversed like a slug or snail, but then started running, looking like when someone pulled their hand away from a sticky substance.

The Láspi jumped onto the scientist, then dove inside her mouth.

"D-Director! Arghh! ARGHHH! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She was dissolved and absorbed, gaining the woman's powers, which were enhanced intelligence. It then morphed into a humanoid slime, still wearing the woman's clothing.

Trinity couldn't believe what had just happened. "Shit!"
