Before Jin got the alert from Jess, the Láspi broke out of its prison in the underground lab where it was held.
The guards scrambled to restrain the Láspi, blasting it with so much electrical energy that they could power a portion of the city.
"Don't let it escape the lab! Keep it pinned down!"
Some scientists were able to leave after the Láspi had broken out of its prison, but the rest weren't as fortunate.
The Láspi moved like a snake, slithering toward the scientist's location. While they had lightning or electric powers, this didn't mean they were as skilled as the guards stationed in the lab.
They were quickly devoured, only for the Láspi to be shocked off their body.
'Arghh! W-What is that?!'
"Haha! Don't think we didn't take any precautions! You won't be eating anyone today, pal!" The head of security clotheslined the Láspi, dropping it to the ground, then blasted it with tons of volts.
'N-No! No! Nooo!' Evolution kicked in with the Láspi, making it able to withstand electrical attacks to a certain degree.
'Die!' Its slimy arm dug into the guard's chest, knocking her into a wall, which left a large crack in it.
Taking a human form, the Láspi moved around the lab extremely fast, using powers it had stolen before. Heat vision killed one guard, telekinesis killed another, and fire burned one who got too close to it.
"Keep your distance and continue shocking the alien!"
'All of you will die today!' Every single guard was pulled toward the Láspi, and then it split off into multiple stands, entering the guards' bodies through their mouths.
The Láspi were raging in their insides, being affected by Jin's stimulant, and most of the Láspi died from being in direct contact with it. But one survived, and that's all that mattered.
With mana being a part of its system now, its adaptation was leagues better than before, and now, it even adapted to the one thing that was meant to prevent it from adapting.
The guard was eaten alive from the inside, merging into the Láspi's being. Every part of their body was dissolved, flesh, muscle, and bones. Nothing was left behind except their clothes.
'Yes! Yes! YESSSSS!' Electrical energy surged through the Láspi's body, not weakening it, but strengthening it instead.
Something that was supposed to be impossible was now possible.
"A-Argh! S-Stop it!" The guards got back up and attacked, but the Láspi simply tanked their attacks, walking over to them slowly.
"I-Impossible! T-This shouldn't be possible!"
'We are the definition of impossibility!' The Láspi turned into its slimy appearance, sliming its way over to the guards.
It grabbed the leg of one guard, buried another in its slime, blasted a hole through the chest of one guard who tried to run away before covering their body in slime, and did the same thing for the rest of the guards.
Eventually, every guard was now eaten by the Láspi, including the head of security, who was knocked out on the wall.
It then turned its attention to the remaining scientists, eating them as well.
Once it finished its meal, it turned its attention to the teleporter.
"Hehe! Time to eat more people!"
Suddenly, a device attached to its body, taking a piece of it. But before the Láspi could know what happened, the device was gone.
"No matter. I know where I am anyway." After working the teleporter, thanks to the memory of the people it had just eaten, the Láspi started attacking the Aegis Corps.

When Jin arrived, everything was a mess. Cars were flipped, buildings were destroyed, people were dead all over, and fire was everywhere.
"What the fuck! This is exactly what I feared! Fuck!" Jin flew down to the ground, tossing the Councilwomen to the side, and tried to locate anyone in a high position.
Fortunately for him, his search came to an end when Mavena flew right past him with bruises all over her body.
He caught her with one hand, preventing her from slamming into anything, then stared at the woman with cold, dead eyes.
"J-Jin?"
"What did you do?" He was angry, so angry that the urge to rip out her heart was all he could feel.
"That is class—"
Jin tossed her to the side as well, but not because he didn't want to hear her answer, but because the Láspi was right in his face.
He stuck out his hand, creating a magic circle shield that blocked its punch.
"Jin! We've been waiting for you! Oh, look, more snacks!" The Láspi lunged at the three councilwomen, but its body was then disrupted, breaking into multiple pieces, and Mrs Horton came down, clobbering the Láspi with a destructive two-handed slam that was electrified.
"This doesn't look good, huh?" Mrs Horton asked, looking at Jin's non-impressed face.
"Is my warning just noise to you? Do you just think that I told you how dangerous this creature is for fun or something?" He was so calm that it was scary.
"Grow up, kid. This is beyond your warnings." Miss Lockman spoke up, walking beside Mrs Horton.
"We need to study this creature so that we can understand it. It's also our first contact with alien life, so no matter how much you don't like it, we aren't obligated to listen to—"
Jin cut off Miss Lockman's head, then blew up her body. He was sick and tired of hearing the bullshit that came out of her mouth.
"W-What did you just do?! Jin, you just killed—"
"Save it. Be thankful that it's not your head rolling on the floor!" Jin turned his attention to the Láspi, and his mana exploded.
"Kekekeke! Jin! We're stronger now! Your preparations don't have any effect on us anymore." The Láspi shouted
"We'll see about that." He knocked Mrs Horton away, then blasted the ground where he was standing, completely destroying the area.
The shockwave was so massive that all of Olympus felt it. The blast he left made a hole that blew straight through the bottom of the floating rock, but unfortunately, the Láspi wasn't dead.
"I told you, we're stronger now!"
