"Good morning, everyone. It is a pleasure to see many familiar faces here today." On the stage, speaking was Mrs Horton to everyone's surprise. It was expected of her to help with the rebuilding of Olympus, so seeing her here shocked everyone.

"Mrs Horton!"

"We love you, Mrs Horton!"

"Glad to see that you're okay!"

Seeing the love the initiates give her made Mrs Horton smile.

"Ahem, yes. Thank you for the kind words. But as I was saying, it is nice to see a lot of you here. I know that we recently went through a crisis, and we have lost many talented individuals, but knowing that you still wish to be in this field makes my heart warm."

"Mrs Horton talking like a nice person makes me feel weird." Angela only knew of the mean and strict principal. During her detention, she would force Angela to do pushups until her arms gave out, and if she didn't meet the required number of pushups, she would have to start over.

"All women loved to be flattered," Jin whispered back.

Addison made a weird face upon hearing Jin's comment. "I think you're referring to men."

'Right. This is a reversed world.' Though he has been in this world for 18 years, he still wasn't perfect when it came to society norms.

"I'm each and every one of you is eager to start your studies back up and work your way to becoming a true member of the Aegis Corps; however, I have some bad news to share with you all." Mrs Horton took a deep breath before continuing.

"Our lesson, the one that was supposed to take place in space, has been canceled."

"Nooooooo!"

"Come on!"

"You've got to be kidding me!"

"Mrs H, can't you do something about this!"

"Bummer." Jin was actually looking forward to going to space. But this wasn't that big of a deal to him.

"I can take you to space for a vacation if you want?" Addison offered.

"Bug off, flame breath. If anyone is taking Jin to space, it's me!" Angela could feel her rival senses going off and would not allow Addison to take Jin from her.

"Your family doesn't associate with people who aren't in the same tax bracket as them."

"Then you shouldn't be talking to me then, bitch!"

"Agreed. My family is 10 times wealthier than yours." Addison fired back.

'Damn! That was good.' Jin smiled slightly, but Angela managed to see it and got upset.

"Jin, don't laugh at that!"

"I didn't."

"I saw your lips curl!"

He couldn't contain himself and happened to chuckle slightly. "That doesn't mean I'll laugh."

"You JUST did!"

"That was a chuckle."

"Which is a form of laughter!"

Back on the stage, Mrs Horton started to speak up again. "Yes, yes, I know that you all are extremely upset, but trust me when I say that this was for the best. Many parents didn't want their children to get hurt in space if anything happened, and the Aegis Council has deemed the activity unnecessary for the time being. For now, all of you will focus on your grades and performances.

Also, for the final thing I have to say. The space lesson will be replaced with an internship. Once the next semester starts, you all will be assigned to a specific division in the Aegis Corps, where you will start learning in the field. While this isn't as cool as the space lesson, it should excite most of you since this is what you're working toward anyway."

"An internship? Sign me up!"

"Yes! Finally!"

"I can't wait!"

Jin liked the idea of working as an intern for the Aegis Corps. This would allow him to go on missions and give him access to information that would normally be kept private. Though he didn't know how much information he would be privy to since he would only be an intern.

"Oh yeah, speaking on internships, didn't you two work with the Aegis corps for your extracurricular activities?" Jin asked. "How was the expierence?"

"Very...demanding," Addison admitted. She had a good time working there, but everything there was so intense, fast-paced, and dire. One wrong move could cost the entire unit their lives.

Angela nodded. "I agree. While I did have a good expierence, being a newbie is very tough. It was honestly worse than the institute training. And keep this in mind, Jin, Addison, and I were trained by our families, went to the Aegis Academy, and are currently at the institute. Yet the real expierence was that much more intense."

"Damn. I guess I have my work cut out for me then, huh?"

"Who knows. You're weird." Angela laughed, giving him a noogie.

"I think you'll be fine." Addison saw how he reacted when Olympus went down and thought he did better than most of the expierenced Guardians she witnessed.

Back to Mrs Horton, she calmed the initiates down before speaking again. "This will be all for the morning announcements today. If you have any questions, please go to the school website or ask the administrators. Jin, Angela, and Addison, to my office, now."

Angela got scared. "Do you think we're in trouble?"

"Why would we be in trouble?" Jin couldn't think of anything wrong they did, besides having sex on campus. But Addison wasn't there when that happened.

"I don't know? It's me we're talking about! I could have probably done something to get in trouble!"

"But why would I be included in that, Angela? I don't participate in your foolishness."

"Don't act all high and mighty, Jin! I've seen you do stupid shit before, right, Addison?"

She didn't answer. "Let's go before Mrs Horton punishes us for being late to her office. I don't want to get detention again."

"Ooof, yeah, Jin, let's go. But Addison, answer me! You've seen Jin do stupid shit, right?"

Still no answer.

"Come on, answer me!"

A smile crept on Jin's face as he looked at Angela's poor attempt at validation. "Let it go, Angela, she won't agree with you."

"Yes, she will! If I keep bothering her, she'll break and agree with me."

"That logic is stupid."

"Takes one to know one, bitch!"
