The apartments provided by the Aegis Corps were located in one of the nicest parts of town. Everything there, including the roads, screamed money. In fact, the air was so rich that Jin could smell money in the air.

"Uhh, is this the right location?" Jin stared at a tall, glass building with tinted windows that stretched 100 floors. When he walked into the lobby, he saw many people going in and out of the place.

Some were decked out in gear, while others were dressed casually.

"Seems like it." He muttered.

Walking over to the front desk, he was met by a receptionist who looked like one of those guys who were always happy even on a bad day.

"How may I help you today, sir?"

"So I'm moving in here, I guess. Here's my room key. Mrs Horton gave it to me."

"Ahh, you must be one of the three new members of the Corps. Welcome. Your room number is 505, that's on the 50th floor. Take the elevator to the left to get there."

"Thanks, man." Jin took his room key, which was a clear plastic slap with technology lines inside it.

When he reached the elevator, five other people were waiting there, all of them women.

"Hey, cutie, what are you doing here?" An extremely tall and muscular woman asked.

"Going to my new home," Jin answered.

"Cool, which floor?"

"50th."

"No shit, really? Same with us! You must be our new neighbors. Heh, you're lucky, getting the floor suite."

'Floor suite? Neighbors? I have roommates?' Jin wondered.

"I'm Besla." She smiled, extending her hand out for him to shake.

"Jin." Jin shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you, Jin. These are my friends and floor mates. The blonde girl is Tracy. She can turn anything into a weapon, but requires materials to create advanced tech weapons. The girl who's all gloomy over there is Shauna. She can control shadows. This one right here with the headphones on is Sonya. She has super hearing, so her ears are sensitive. And lastly, this white haired girl is Norma. She's a technopath. In fact, I'd say she's the best technopath in all of the Aegis Corps' history. But that's just my opinion."

"Nice to meet you all." Jin shook all of their hands, then stepped into the elevator.

It was pretty spacious, and all of them could fit in there with no effort at all. Norma pressed the button to floor 50, and they went on their way.

"Jin, can I ask you a question?" Norma looked directly in his eyes.

"Sure."

"Do you have technology inside your body?"

"I'm guessing you can sense it because of your power, right?"

She nodded.

"Heh, yeah, I do. Nanites. Way better than using a bracelet for my power kit."

Norma studied Jin's body and saw that every nanite was working in tandem with his cells, a harmony that hasn't been seen in modern cybernetics.

"How is that possible? It's normal for a prosthetic arm or leg to function normally when attached to a person's body, but to get nanites working is another story. This is revolutionary."

"Guess I'm just lucky." The real reason was because of his knowledge from being a part of a Type 3 civilization in one of his lives. They had mastered the art of cybernetics and were able to combine flesh and machine with ease.

With the technology available in this current world, which was a type 1 civilization, Jin was only able to go as far as to inject nanites into his bloodstream without any issues.

"You don't have to tell me the reason. I respect your secrecy."

"Thanks." He smiled.

Soon, the elevator stopped, then the doors opened they all walked out.

There were only five floors on the 50th floor instead of the normal ten. This was because this floor had a suite on it.

"See you around, Jin." All of the girls entered their homes.

"Room 505, the suite room." Jin placed the key in the terminal, and the door unlocked. When he entered the apartment, the first thing he saw was Angela and Addison walking around the place with their shirts off, boobs bouncing with each step they took.

"What the fuck?!"

"Jin! You're here!" Angela wasted no time and planted his face in her chest, hugging him tightly.

"I was wondering when you would arrive. I've been waiting all day for you!"

"Uhh, thanks, I guess."

"Were you not expecting to share a place with us?" Addison asked while putting on a shirt. She wasn't embarrassed or anything; she was already going to put on a shirt before Jin walked in and had it in her hands.

"No. All Mrs Horton told me was that I have an apartment now. But having you two as roommates isn't so bad."

"Right! We can have all the fun we want now! Then, when we finish missions, we can all come back to the same place! It's so awesome! Come, let me show you the rooms!"

Angela showed Jin around the place, stopping at each room and telling him their purpose, as if he didn't know what a bathroom was.

"And finally, this is our room." She smiled

"Our room? Like all of us?" He asked

"Yup. We'll be sleeping together. I made sure to buy a really big bed. See. We have more than enough room for three people."

"And you're okay with sharing a bed with Addison?"

"Of course not. But she said that if she can't sleep with you, then I can't either. We argued, then came to a compromise."

"And this is that compromise?"

"Yup."

"Wow."

Angela put her arm around his shoulder. "Cool, huh?"

"If you wish to believe that, then I wont stop you from doing so."

"Do you want to check out some of the facilities here? I plan on going to the training facility to train for a bit." Addison offered. She had heard from Angela that Jin had trained her to use her abilities for more than just ice powers, even though she mainly uses them as ice powers.

Addison wanted him to train her as well.

"Not right now. I have some work to do."
