I Got an Affection System in a Medieval Apocalypse!

Chapter 72: Future

The atmosphere inside the wooden cabin was sensual.

The fireplace crackled softly in the corner, but the primary source of heat came from the tangled pile of limbs on the makeshift bed.

Judas lay on his back, staring up at the wooden beams of the ceiling, a profound sense of satisfaction settling deep in his bones.

His arm was numb, pinned beneath the weight of Nina and Luna on his left, while his right side was occupied by the soft curves of Summer and Ezra.

They were all naked, their skin slick with a sheen of perspiration that glistened in the firelight. The sheets were a chaotic mess, kicked down to their ankles during the fervor of their reunion.

"So..." Summer's voice broke the comfortable silence. She was resting her chin on his chest, her crimson eyes tracing the line of his jaw. She looked like a satiated cat, though the dark circles under her eyes hinted at the intensity of their session.

"You plan to enroll us in the academy?" she muttered, her breath hot against his skin.

Judas reached up, lazily trailing his fingers through her blood-red hair. "That's the plan. The assessment is in a week."

"The Dragon Academy..." Ezra shifted on his right side, propping herself up on one elbow. Her dark hair cascaded over her shoulder, curtaining her breasts, but the worry on her face was visible.

"Husband, I have heard of such places," the warrior woman said, her brow furrowing. "They are strict. They separate disciples by gender. The men's dormitory is in the East Wing, and the women's is in the West. We won't be able to... sleep together."

She said the last part with a pout that was entirely out of character for the stoic fighter, but Judas found it adorable.

"No sleeping together?" Nina gasped from his left. The wolf girl's ears, which had been drooping in sleepiness, shot up in alarm. She scrambled up, disregarding her nudity, and hovered over him with wide, golden eyes. "But... but I need to smell Husband to sleep! If I don't, I get nightmares!"

"Me too," Luna added, her voice muffled against his shoulder. The elf didn't move, but her grip on his arm tightened possessively. "I refuse to sleep in a room filled with sweaty, common women. I require the specialized pillow that is your arm."

Judas chuckled, the vibration rumbling in his chest and causing the women resting on him to bounce slightly.

"Relax," he said, squeezing Nina's waist to calm her down. "Do you think I would let a few academy rules keep me from my wives? I'm hurt you have so little faith in my shamelessness."

He shifted, propping himself up against the headboard so he could address all four of them. The movement caused the sheet to slip further, revealing the entirety of his impressive physique, but none of them looked away. They knew every inch of him by now.

"Listen," Judas began, his expression turning serious. "We aren't joining the academy just to learn how to swing swords or cast spells. You guys are already learning faster through our... special training than any instructor could teach you."

He glanced at the System interface floating in his peripheral vision.

[Affection Points: 10]

The number had climbed beautifully after the "reunion."

"We are going there for three reasons," he explained. "First, resources. The Dragon and Phoenix Alliance controls the most potent monster bloodlines in the world. Nina, you need vitality to strengthen your constitution before you can awaken the Blood attribute. The academy has access to 'Dragon Heart Elixirs' and 'Phoenix Tears' that money can't buy. Only merit points can."

Nina blinked, her tail giving a tentative wag. "For me?"

"For all of you," Judas corrected. "Luna needs high-grade wind stones for her bow. Ezra needs frost cores. And Summer..."

He looked at the vampire.

'I need high-quality blood,' Summer thought, licking her lips.

"Summer needs exposure to different mana types to evolve her blood magic," Judas finished. "Secondly, we need cover. That dragon, Nyx... she's running from someone."

The atmosphere in the room tensed instantly at the mention of the dragon.

"Violet," Judas whispered the name Nyx had given him. "I don't know who she is, but if she can terrify a Master-rank True Dragon into signing a slave contract just to escape, she is a monster beyond our comprehension. We need to hide. And the best place to hide is in the most prestigious academy in the region."

"And the third reason?" Ezra asked.

"The third reason," Judas grinned. "Don't you think it will be pretty cool to ride dragons?"

Contrary to his expectations, his wives didn't mirror his enthusiasm. They all stared at him flatly.

'Did I say something wrong?' Judas thought.

"Actually, you want to 'RIDE' a dragon, right?" Summer pinched his waist.

"Obviously…"

Oh. Judas stopped. They really misunderstood. Sure, he wanted to ride a dragon… well, that sounded wrong. He meant to ride it as a mount. That, too, sounded wrong.

Oh. Judas stopped to correct himself. He actually wanted to try both types of riding.

Luna grumbled, burying her face back into the crook of his neck. "It is annoying. We have to wear uniforms. We have to listen to old men lecture us. All because of that stupid dragon."

"She is a nuisance," Summer agreed, narrowing her eyes. "She looks at us like we are food. And she is demanding. Did you see how she looked at me earlier? Like she wanted to dissect me."

"She is flat, too," Nina huffed. "She called me a dog. And she said my... my things... were sagging!"

Nina looked down at her chest, pushing her breasts up with her hands. "Husband, are they sagging? They aren't, right? They are perky! Tell her they are perky!"

Judas felt a headache coming on. "They are perfect, Puppy. Ignore the lizard. She's just jealous."

"True..." Nina nodded.

He clapped his hands. "Alright, enough talk. We can't stay in the Couple Space forever. We need to go back to the inn, get some actual sleep, and prepare for the registration tomorrow. I need to buy you guys fake identities from the System store so no one tracks your origins."

Groans of protest filled the room.

"Five more minutes," Nina pleaded, clinging to his leg.

"No," Judas said firmly, though he leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Up. Get dressed. We have a dragon to deal with."

It took another twenty minutes to untangle the limbs, find their clothes scattered around the room, and make themselves presentable. Summer put on her maid outfit—she insisted on it, claiming it helped her focus—while the others donned the simple tunics and trousers they wore for travel.

Judas dressed last, strapping his katana to his waist. He checked his reflection in the small mirror Summer had insisted on buying. He looked like a rogue cultivator—handsome, dangerous, and a little rough around the edges. Perfect.

"Ready?"

The women nodded, though Nina was clinging to the back of his shirt, using him as a human shield against the dragon outside.

Judas pushed the door open. The cool air of the Couple Space washed over them, carrying the scent of crops and damp earth. It was a refreshing change from the stifling heat of the cabin.

They stepped out onto the porch.

"Where is she?" Luna whispered, her hand drifting to the empty space where her bow would usually be.

Judas scanned the field. He expected Nyx to be pacing, or maybe flying in circles trying to find the boundary of the dimension. Instead, he found her standing in the middle of the pumpkin patch.

Nyx had not put her cloak back on. She stood in all her naked, pale glory, the golden crops brushing against her thighs. But it was what she was doing that made Judas stop dead in his tracks.

She was holding two large, round pumpkins.

She held them up against her chest, positioning them over her own breasts. She looked down at the vegetables, then looked at her own chest, then back at the vegetables.

She seemed to be... measuring.

"Too big," Nyx muttered, her voice carrying clearly in the silence. She tossed the pumpkins aside with a scowl.

She bent down and picked up two cantaloupes. She placed them against her chest. She squinted.

"Too... lumpy."

She tossed those away too.

Then, she picked up two watermelons. She held them up, adjusting the angle. She nodded slowly, a look of scientific approval on her face.

"Symmetry," she whispered. "Mass. Firmness."

She squeezed the watermelons.

Splat.

Her dragon strength was too much. The fruits exploded in her hands, showering her naked chest and stomach in sticky red juice and black seeds.

Nyx froze. She looked down at the mess covering her perfect body.

"..."

Judas and his wives stood on the porch, frozen in a tableau of absolute bewilderment.

"Is she..." Summer whispered, her voice trembling with suppressed laughter. "Is she comparing her tits to vegetables?"

"Oh my god," Luna buried her face in her hands. "The legendary calamity. The master of laws. She's fighting a watermelon."

"And losing," Ezra noted dryly.

Nina peeked out from behind Judas. Nyx's head snapped toward them. Red juice dripped from her chin. A watermelon seed was stuck to her left nipple. Her golden eyes were wide, the pupils constricted into vertical slits of pure humiliation.

For a second, nobody moved.

Then, Nyx slowly lowered her hands. The smashed remains of the watermelons fell to the ground with a wet thud.

"This..." Nyx said, her voice vibrating with a low, menacing growl that shook the ground beneath their feet. "This is a ritual. A dragon ritual. To... test the soil fertility."

"Soil fertility," Judas repeated, keeping his face perfectly straight. "Of course. Using your... chest... as a sensor. Genius."

"Yes," Nyx hissed. She waved her hand, and the red juice vanished from her skin instantly, cleaned by magic. "It is ancient knowledge. You wouldn't understand."

She marched toward them, her chin held high.

"We are leaving," she commanded, walking past Judas without making eye contact. "This space is boring. The air is stale. And your crops are... explosive."

"Right," Judas said. He turned to his wives. Summer was biting her lip so hard it was bleeding. Luna was shaking silently. Even Ezra had a small, amused smirk on her face.

"Let's go," Judas said, grabbing Nyx's shoulder before she could stomp on Nina. "Wait until I forge identities for you four."

He willed the space to close.

The pastoral scene vanished. The smell of pumpkins and sex was replaced by the scent of lavender and polished wood.

They appeared in the Royal Suite of the Gilded Wyvern Inn.

Nyx immediately transformed. Her human form dissolved into shadows, coalescing into the small black drake on Judas's shoulder. She curled up into a tight ball, hiding her face under her tail.
