Becoming the Wasteland Overlord With My Harem System!

Chapter 119: Fenrir vs Cyclops

Fenrir shot forth like a speeding bullet. Like a meteorite cutting through the sky.

"DAMN!"

Due to her kick, the Humvee's top now had a foot imprint that went a full meter below roof level. Not only that, but the impact caused Axel to lose control of the vehicle for a moment, making them swerve unstably for a while.

"Master commands for your death."

The culprit, however, was completely clueless about what she had done.

Instead, she faced the cyclops bravely, her right hand surging with a red force in the shape of a giant wolf's claw.

"So… die."

She punched the cyclops, the claw slashing across its naked chest.

However, the Cyclops didn't seem bothered by the injury and instead found her attack merely annoying. It raised one of its four fists and threw a straight punch—simple and without wasted movement.

"...!"

Fenrir saw the fist coming and quickly dodged out of the way.

Just the air pressure from the fist was enough to rattle her clothes, almost stripping her naked!

The punch was so powerful that it would've intimidated any other enemy. However, Fenrir was literally fearless. She fixed her posture mid-air and grabbed the arm as it reached the end of the punch.

Then, while keeping a delicate balance and grip, she ran across it, rushing toward the Cyclops's face.

"Hup!"

The moment she reached its face, she lashed out at the giant eyeball. Three bloody claw marks were left across it, causing the Cyclops to flinch for the first time.

It covered its eye with two hands while using another arm to try to catch Fenrir. However, with its eye blinded until it regenerated, it couldn't catch such an agile target.

The moment the cyclops felt Fenrir's step, it was already too late to grab her!

Taking advantage of her small stature and speed, Fenrir circled the cyclops's ankle and scratched at it. A large gash appeared, spurting fresh blood. With the monster's regeneration focused on repairing its only eye, it couldn't immediately recover its damaged leg and wobbled.

The giant lost balance and fell face-first to the ground!

Although it might seem as if the match was decided, Fenrir didn't chase too far.

With only half of the giant's body exposed now, the risk of getting caught was 2x higher. Thus, she moved out of the way and waited until the Cyclops stood back up—slowly, but surely, and fully recovered.

"GRAAAAGH!"

The giant, of course, didn't forget the debt of having its eye crushed.

Its anger swallowed its mind as it blindly rushed at the small wolf. It decided Fenrir was a threat and should no longer be underestimated.

With its injuries healed, the fight returned to square one.

However, Fenrir didn't even change her expression, remaining cool and calm. She didn't blink. She waited for the two fists coming down at her and dodged at the last second. Then, just as the other two fists prepared to catch her—

"Phew…!"

Fenrir took a deep breath and focused.

Deeper than before.

Her eyes narrowed, exuding cold killing intent—enough that, for a brief moment, the Cyclops paused entirely. That moment was more than enough for Fenrir to take advantage of.

She waved both hands, each covered with a red aura shaped like the claws of her giant wolf form. Then she began scratching endlessly.

"GRAAAGH!"

Blood spewed as deep grooves were etched into the monster's body. Like a berserk chainsaw, Fenrir ran along its arm, dismembering it as she went.

With each step, she waved her claws a hundred times.

Skin was shredded, muscles torn, and bones broken to pieces.

The damage was so severe that the Cyclops's prized regeneration couldn't keep up.

After carving a literal highway of blood, Fenrir reached the chest, then the neck, and finally the face once more. This time, she didn't just scratch through them—she shredded everything so thoroughly that it was almost decapitated.

It all happened in a moment, a span of time compressed into a single second. In that time, the cyclops fell forward, losing one arm, its heart, and its head.

Fenrir followed the giant's falling body and landed beside it. She stood still, watching as the monster's corpse dissipated into black mist and vanished from sight.

"...Execution complete."

After saying only that, she turned around and began catching up with Axel's group.

Of course, that didn't take much time, given her speed.

A new footprint embedded itself into the roof as she landed, making Axel's brows twitch.

"Master, I've completed your order. Please give the next command," she said, peeking upside down through the driver's side window.

Axel wanted to shout at her, to warn her to mind her actions again. However, he felt it would be wasted on this little wolf girl...

It's not like he was intimidated by her fierce fighting style.

Not at all.

"...Good job." He sighed. "Stay on the roof for now. We'll drive deeper into the Red Zone as planned."

While speaking, he repaired the damaged roof.

It cost him just ten million Colts—an unexpected expense caused not by an enemy, but by an ally.

...

After driving for half an hour, with the girls killing other demons along the way using their curses, they finally arrived at their first checkpoint.

The nearest destroyed small fortress they were headed for.

"DEATH CURSE!"

With the Elite Witches' skill, it didn't take long to clear it of enemies, leaving it completely lifeless and silent. Still, they didn't lower their guard. They couldn't tell if another enemy on the Cyclops's level would appear, after all.

As the girls stood around Axel to protect him, and Fenrir remained outside the fortress, watching over the area, he began the repair process.

One hundred million Colts over one minute.

That was how much he had to spend—money and time-wise—to repair this small area.

"Alright, watch out for moving debris!"

He didn't hesitate to initiate the repair. Keeping his hand on the ground, the entire fortress began to glow.

Dust gathered and turned into bricks, moving toward the walls to repair them.

The fallen walls slowly stood up and were reinforced.

Collapsed buildings rebuilt themselves, becoming a fine structure once again.

Without much fanfare, the repair finished successfully.

"That's one down..." Axel said, wiping sweat from his forehead. "Still, it's so hot in here. I feel like I'm being cooked alive..."

The terrain itself hadn't changed. It wasn't as if they'd entered a volcanic area without notice.

"I'm confused myself, Sir Axel..."

Even Nina was baffled as she wiped her sweat away.

"I remember this fort, but it wasn't this warm before. Something must have happened to change it..."

"Really..."

Axel stood up, shouting out loud as if to refresh himself.

"Alright, work on the teleportation array so we can get out of this sweltering place!" he commanded.
