Becoming the Wasteland Overlord With My Harem System!

Chapter 173: Impossible to Gather

Axel woke up early the next day—or rather, he didn't manage to get any sleep at all.

By the time he had satisfied all the girls—except for Cherry, who remained in a corner, watching—the sun was already painting the sky a bright blue. He felt worn out but, strangely, was overflowing with energy.

Thanks to the system's passive ability, his strength had increased by another 5% from Fenrir's stats. He had hoped this boost would reach 20%, but it seemed Eve's case wasn't factored in, as there was no penetration at all.

Now, however, he was 50% stronger than Fenrir's sealed state!

Of course, he knew that pure stats meant nothing if he couldn't manage them effectively. His task was simple: to slowly improve his fighting technique while helping everyone else grow stronger.

The magic armor for everyone was completed and ready for distribution.

The Holy Light Armor was to be worn over the magic armor.

Along with swords, spears, and staves, he had prepared batches of ultimate potions to enhance their stats—currently, there were 24 bottles of Recovery potions and 72 bottles of Mana potions. It would take a little more time to distribute all the potions, but it should be finished in about two days.

After addressing these matters, Axel headed straight to the Laboratory.

There, he checked the progress of crafting the Tonics.

Fortunately, all the condensers had finished their work.

"Now, all I have to do is mix them in specific ratios..." Axel huffed.

Looking at the recipe, he understood that specific combinations of essences would enhance different stats. Therefore, a single recipe could yield various types, from a Strength Tonic to a Mana Tonic.

With all the essences at his disposal, he could create any type of tonic equally!

After cleaning the condensers, he sat on a stool and began meticulously measuring each drop. He mixed various essences with distilled Mana Water, observing how the mixture transformed in real time.

The mixture transformed from a foggy, cloudy concoction into a clear, glowing solution.

"Phew...!" Axel sighed, releasing the breath he hadn't realized he was holding. As he did, he placed the first batch he made into his inventory and checked its details. What he found in the item's description shocked him.

<Strength Tonic Lv. Max>

<A solution that can increase one's strength by an additional 100%. Succeeding usage decreases efficacy by 1% (stackable) up to 25% minimum efficacy.>

<Special Note: Cannot increase stats past 2,500 points>

<Material Cost: 385,962 Colts>

"Damn! Just a 1% degradation!" Axel gasped.

The Mana tonic he had taken before had a 10% decrease in effectiveness with each subsequent use, but this one he crafted only suffered a 1% loss! That made it at least ten times more efficient!

Moreover, unlike the versions currently available in the market, his tonic had a minimum efficacy limit set at 25%! The only drawback was the explicit cap, preventing any stat from exceeding 2,500 points. Even so, Axel felt it was well worth it.

In short, as long as he had enough time and money, he could boost everyone's stats to 2,500! It was like mass-producing the current Fenrir!

"I can't just sit around!" Axel huffed. "Let's finish the rest and see!"

Despite his excitement, he meticulously followed the recipe, ensuring he didn't mess up any ratios or measurements. In just an hour, he completed the tonics for each stat.

Strength, Vitality, Agility, Dexterity, Luck, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Mana! Eight types of tonics glowed in unique, vibrant colors!

The downside was that one batch only produced one vial for each stat, meaning it would take time to create enough to maximize one's stats or distribute among everyone.

"Well, the first batch is definitely for me."

Axel wasted no time, carefully chugging one tonic after another. He had an Ultimate Recovery Potion ready just in case something went wrong.

Considering he had already consumed the +200 stats before, his new stats now became...

Staring at his stats, he couldn't help but frown.

"Like this, the next batch will put me at almost the maximum value," he grumbled.

As soon as he took the third bottle of tonic for each stat, he'd definitely reach the SS rank limit! The only thing that bothered him was the Mana—it had inflated to nearly 30,000 points already.

'Does Mana not get limited by the hard cap?' Axel couldn't help but worry.

Now that he had finished crafting the tonics, he started auto-crafting them immediately. Thanks to the time-consuming processes, it would take him about 14 hours to craft one batch, however.

"Great!" Axel sighed, cleaning the lab and preparing for the next task. "Last is the upgraded Tonic Recipe..."

He quickly checked the recipe, read through the instructions and ingredients, and… stopped in his tracks.

"Huh?"

He tried reading it again and cross-checked the Interdimensional Shop, but, as expected, one ingredient was missing. It wasn't offered anywhere in the shop!

"Navi! Come here!"

Unable to figure it out, he called for backup.

Upon his call, a small penguin appeared immediately. Mimir floated lazily beside him.

[Yes, contractor? What's the problem?]

Navi asked, getting straight to the point. Ever since Mimir was added to the system, Navi had started to mellow out, becoming quite a reliable companion. Of course, it could be a temporary change for all Axel knew, but his current state was better than before, at least.

"This Tytravanium Drop in the ingredients… I can't find it in the shop. Do you have any idea what it is?" he asked.

"Tytravanium?!"

In response, it was Mimir who reacted exaggeratedly.

"Did you say Tytravanium?!" she repeated, as if unable to believe what she heard.

Axel, a little taken aback, double-checked the spelling and nodded. "Yep, it really is Tytravanium… Mimir, you know about it?"

The tsundere cat sighed, turning away as she replied in a distraught voice. "I… do. But if you're planning to use it in a recipe, then give up now. It's not something you can get just anywhere."

"Huh?"

Axel tilted his head, curious and puzzled.

Mimir, noticing the question marks appearing above his head, sighed again.

"Tytravanium is a special material. It's the first dewdrop gathered from the golden fruits of Yggdrasil," she explained. "You're too weak; there's no chance you can get that dew or the fruits… In fact, I doubt you'll ever reach Yggdrasil's canopy."

Axel's mouth hung open.

"The fuck..." he cursed. "Then how do I make this fucking recipe?"
