Becoming the Wasteland Overlord With My Harem System!

Chapter 91: Wrong Landing!

For a moment, Axel felt his body become weightless. As if he were inside an airplane that started a sudden dip. A weird sensation.

When the flash of light faded and the sense of gravity returned, he slowly opened his eyes.

And... he was shocked.

"Whoa..."

The place he landed was a closed space, with walls of white marble and glowing stones as lighting fixtures. It was way too different from the "dark" image he had of witches!

"Huh?"

But as he began looking around, he noticed an anomaly.

He wasn't standing inside a magic circle or anything similar, but rather in about waist-deep water. Of course, he found it weird. Why would someone set the scroll's destination in such a place?

As he looked around, he noticed even more anomalies.

Firstly, Queen Wisteria and her elite witches were nowhere to be seen. Secondly, he wasn't alone in the room. There were about two dozen women, most likely witches, staring at the "intruder" with surprise.

A gaze mixed with shock and playfulness...

"...!"

Finally, he realized something even more pressing.

All those girls were naked!

Everywhere he turned his head, he could see mountain ridges floating in the water. Some were even standing on the tiles beyond the water, where their entire bodies were in full view.

'Fuck…' Axel realized soon enough. 'I… made a mistake with my landing, didn't I?'

However, Axel wasn't going to let the scenario play out as everyone expected—that he'd get group-lynched by the girls and suffer until Queen Wisteria came to save him.

Before everyone could react, Axel raised his voice to the limit.

"Is this how you welcome guests in Witcheria?" He scoffed, controlling his expression to show disappointment and disgust. "How vulgar!"

"...?!"

Only then did the witches around him begin to realize the anomaly of his presence in their bathhouse.

Some hid their bodies deeper in the water, while those above ground crouched down to hide themselves from sight. Of course, crouching not only failed to cover them, but basically emphasized one spot beneath… yet Axel kept a straight face.

"Where is Queen Wisteria?! I want to speak to her about this vulgar event!"

He cried out loud, pretending to be angry. "This is no way to welcome an important guest from a different dimension!" he emphasized.

"Y-You…! Bastard! We're the Elite Witches under Queen Wisteria! How dare you peek?!"

"Looking down on us?! Invading our bath?! You're seeking death!"

"You're just a man! I'll curse you with impotence, you fucking worm!"

Of course, some of the girls did have common sense and got angry at Axel. However, he pretended to be oblivious, pushing the idea that this was how Witcheria "welcomed" diplomats.

"Huh? That's rich coming from bitches who stand naked before an emissary who came to help you out!" he growled. "Don't tell me you'll spread your legs and beg for me later? Hah!"

"Fuck! Curse you!"

Despite his act, the girls' rational yet irrational anger exploded.

Curses rained down on him—weak since they didn't have voodoo dolls, but still enough to incapacitate a normal man. But Axel was no normal individual. In fact, while he was "righteously" calling out their faults, he had already prepared a Substitute Doll under his suit.

Thus, even as the curses literally rained down on him, he remained unaffected.

"N-No way…!"

"What? Why isn't my curse working?!"

"This… my curse… rebounded…!"

Shock, fear, and various negative emotions surfaced in their expressions. However, Axel didn't even blink. Unless they attacked him physically, he had nothing to fear!

Just as the situation turned muddy, rushed footsteps echoed from somewhere.

A moment later, figures burst through the entrance—ones wearing the same witch attire Axel was used to seeing, faces familiar to him.

The Elite Witches who had tagged along with Queen Wisteria!

"S-Sir Axel! Sorry for this mistake!"

The one who seemed to be the leader quickly knelt before him.

"It seems the scroll we gave you was one that Third Princess Teruria had tinkered with. This is our fault, so please don't be angry at our colleagues' impudence!"

"…"

Axel sighed inwardly.

He didn't know why, but hearing that explanation instantly made perfect sense. Although he wanted to curse the little witch, he also wanted to thank her for letting him see such a beautiful sight.

"Ahem! Well, as long as you admit your faults, all is well." Axel stood on ceremony before walking toward the leader. "Then, guide me somewhere I can dry off."

"T-Then, please, this way. Mimika, lead Sir Axel to the dressing room."

One of the witches behind her nodded quickly, guiding Axel gently. "Please, this way."

And as soon as they disappeared…

"Captain Rosaria! Why do you need to bow to such a bastard?!"

"Right! He's just a man! It should be him bowing to us witches!"

"Such a bastard…! But our curses didn't even make him flinch…"

"SILENCE!" the captain, Rosaria, growled. "You not only disrespected Sir Axel, you even dared curse him?! Are you looking for death?!"

Her voice was filled with genuine fear, making the girls reel back in confusion. After all, they knew how fearless their captain was. It was the first time they'd seen her show fear. Not even the great march of demonic monsters years ago made her look like this!

Clenching her teeth, she recalled the strange power Axel displayed.

"You have no idea of his strength, and you dared pick a fight?!" she emphasized. "You're lucky he was willing to let it slide. If he retaliated, none of you here would've walked out alive!"

"…!"

Of course, none of them believed such a crazy claim. And in fact, it wasn't even true. Axel's interpersonal battle prowess wasn't any better than Arianne, after all. If they all attacked at the same time, Axel could only surrender.

However, Captain Rosaria wasn't the type to joke around. She pushed with her own beliefs. Trying to "convince" the rest of how dangerous he is.

Finally, recalling how Axel remained expressionless even under fire, and the fact that their curses didn't work on him… chills ran down their spines.

Suddenly, Rosaria's claims gained weight.

Axel's image in their hearts shifted from a weak, perverted man who peeked into their bath to a mysterious, dangerous individual.

"…Now you girls understand."

Seeing their faces turn pale, she nodded in relief. Then, with a soft, appeasing voice, she continued.

"I don't care how, but you should apologize to him later. Better to clear up the misunderstanding early." She clarified, "And remember, do everything to earn his forgiveness… even if it means offering your bodies to him."

And just like that, a troublesome flag immediately stood up.
