" Hey, the instructors said there would be goblins but I don't see any, " someone said as they continued walking, the exit platform was now visible.

" Why would you even want to see them, as long as we are out we'll be done, " another responded annoyed.

" Both of you be quiet. "

Both Alaric and Jezebel walked at the back of the group each lost in their own thoughts. Jezebel was still shocked about what Alaric had told her and she was busy avoiding the displinary members eyes.

" Hey .." Alaric started.

" Don't talk to me," Jezebel snapped before he could even say anything. He raised his hand in defeat.

Then at that moment a heavy thud echoed through the forest, then another and another.

All the students froze.

" What the hell is that?" Someone asked but got no answer.

Then as though to answer his question a deep guttural roar came from the forest, loud enough to shake the trees.

Before anyone could react a huge boulder flew over them and smashed the platform where the exit button was and destroyed everything.

Afterwards a massive goblin bursted through the treeline, tearing through the huge trees like they were near vines.

The goblin was tall, taller than any of them. It was filled with thick muscles bulging with every move as it's shadow casted over all of them.

Everyone knew what it was since they saw the pictures.

A Goblin chief. C class monster.

Someone shouted," this is an F class dungeon that thing shouldn't be here..."

Alaric cursed his luck with dungeons inwardly. Now a monster appeared out of nowhere the moment he was about to leave. He looked at everyones panicked face around him and felt like crying.

Just what kind of luck did he have.

The chief rushed towards them it's feet thudding in the dungeon floor, Alaric swore he felt the ground shaking with each of it's step.

Before they could scatter the chief had already reached where they were and raised it's bone mace swinging it down to the floor, smashing the ground.

The force was so massive that it sent some of the students flying and skidding across the grass.

Alaric was one of the unfortunate and hit the ground painfully and Jezebel fortunately fell on top of him breaking her fall.

" Shit that hurts.are.." Alaric's voice cut off as the Goblin Chiefs shadow fell over him and Jezebel.

Alaric reacted without thinking, he summoned his whip and slammed it forward activating his skill .

CRACK!

The sound echoed through the clearing as the whip hit the goblin chief on it's toe. Alaric stood up fast pulling the still disoriented Jezebel behind him.

" Why would you do that.. you idiot," Jezebel shouted behind his back. Alaric didn't answer, he just didn't want to see anyone die this time without him trying to put on a fight.

He didn't like the feeling of helplessness he has felt in the former dungeon and he wasn't about to let this students die without at least trying. And Jezebel was also there he really had no choice but to fight.

" I'm buying time, snap the others out of it," he said as he moved towards the monster.

It swang it's mace towards him but Alaric sidestepped it barely managing to avoid as it as he stambled a little to the side when it hit the ground with shards flying everywhere.

The goblin chief swang it to the side aiming to hit him right of his feet. Alaric rolled to the ground the mace passing over him it's pressure on his skin.

On the ground Alaric snapped his whip towards the hand swinging the mess and the whip wrapped around the hand and stood up.He pulled it using the monsters momentum causing it to stumble.

The monster pulled back it's hand trying to pull Alaric off the ground and flip him over but Alaric pulled the whip back in the Nick of time.

From the corner of his eyes he saw the other students dragging the injured out of the monsters range. The chief seemed to notice because it raised it's mace towards the group wanting to smash them.

Alaric swang his whip again aiming for the monsters eyes. The chief recoiled back swinging widely as it's eyes were blinded shortly.

" Now," Alaric shouted," everyone who can fight attack it's leg.."

Several braver students came forward surrounding the monster as it stumbled around.

All kinds of powers hit the creature skin, knees and legs. It shouted angryly as it swang it's mace but the fighting students seemed to have gained some confidence dodged as they shot at the monsters .

Alaric felt a warmth wash over him as the little pain he was feeling started to disappear.

He turned around to see a small boy with golden hair waving at him," healing," he shouted as he moved to the next students.

Most of their injuries were from flying shards and being thrown off by the monster.

" Alaric get down," he heard Jezebel's voice behind him.

He bent down and a string of lightning passed over him directly hitting the monsters eyes. The power wasn't strong but it was enough to distract it even more.

He gave Jezebel a thumbs up before swinging his and wrapping it around the chiefs neck and pulled with all his strength using the monsters confusion and pain to scramble it.

Two guys who were near him saw what he was doing and ran towards him and held the whip next to him.

" Pull, he shouted. They all pulled at the same time.

The monster stumbled it's foot slipping on the grass and mad from all it's smashing.

The monster fell on it's knee the huge mace falling from it's hand as it tried to catch itself on the ground.

It's hand reached for Alaric but missed as Alaric jumped backwards summoning the whip back. The fingers barely brushed against his shoulder cutting through his shirt.

With the monster on it's knees he snapped the whip point black hitting it's eye breaking through it. I

The chief sreamed a raw tearing sound it's one remaining eye looking at with with pure hatred.

It tried to rise up but it didn't get a chance, the students unlished their last powers on it finally overwhelming it.

Alaric activated his striked striking it's remaining eye blinding it. The others also threw their skills and he also saw Jezebels lightning flashing past.

The chief eventually swayed to the side and smashed on the ground as it fell to the side crashing onto the ground.

Silence followed a heavy disbelieving silence as they all held their breaths waiting for it to stand up .

Alaric stood over the fallen chief his chest heaving with it's green blood staining his whip.

Some one whispered softly breaking the heavy silence, "A .. C... Class monster . We just fought that without instructors..."

Another one said voice trembling," we'd be dead if Alaric didn't distract it."

They all turned to look at him. They had all heard Jezebel shout his name during the fight so most of them identified who they were talking about.

Alaric barely heard them with all the adrenaline pumping through his body still. His hands were shaking and his heart aced threatening to beat out of his chest as he replayed what had just happened.

His whip dripped the goblins green blood into his hands making them feel sticky and slimy.

He didn't feel like he had won but more of he had survived again but this time there was no ones blood in his hands. He hadn't been a coward.

The system panel appeared Infront of him .

He looked at the system and swiped the panel away. It wasn't the time to celebrate his victory.

He watched as the corpse started to disappear and an awakener stone started to appear.

Then before he could pick it up the ground shook violently. He could feel the mana in the dungeon start to increase fast as though something was forcefully pouring mana inside the dungeon.

"The dungeon is destabilizing," someone shouted

" No,no, it's the collapse sequence," another shouted over the noise.

He didn't know what each of the words ment but he knew it wasn't something good.

He hurriedly picked up the stone before anyone could see it as they all scrambled to breath as the man became too much for them. He ran towards a fallen Jezebel and found her already unconsciously.

He picked her up trying to find the usual exit but nothing.

There was no light portal like the former dungeon. He could feel it the mana starting to affect him.

Suddenly a blinding light started to swallow the dungeon as it moved fast towards Alaric and the unconscious student. Alaric wanted to escape but he was too weak to escape.

He could only watch with Jezebel unconscious in his arm as the light swallowed them whole.
