Whoosh!
Slime#47 leaped to his right, pouring demonic force into his Demonic Surge.
Bang!
The energy slash hit the spot where Young Slime had stood and dispersed, leaving a shallow mark.

"Do you want to know why descendants of Demon Kings are directly labeled as true demons?" Nobi asked, channeling tidal force into her sword.
"Yes," Slime#47 nodded. 'Elder Slime would never make a mistake… so,' he wondered.
"I'll show you bloodline inheritance—only descendants of kings acquire it…." she replied, sheathing her sword as the tidal force dispersed.
Thomas, who was watching over, narrowed his eyes, warning, "Young lady—be mindful about your bloodline power. It's too powerful."
"Don't worry," Nobi said, her lips curving up a little.
The instructor turned his gaze to Slime#47 and commanded, "Young Slime! That power is too strong—that's why they're labeled as true demons directly. If you feel you cannot withstand it, quickly request help!"
"Star Resonance," Nobi muttered, spreading her two hands out.
"I need to be careful," Slime#47 muttered, taking a deep breath.
"Demonic Surge, Demonic Cloak, Double Elemental Shield."
He prepared himself for the worst.
Two multicolored barriers formed all around him, and he pulled the cloak tight, leaving no opening.
Dark demonic force wrapped around him, increasing his endurance.
Zzz!
"What?" he yelled, as he glanced around, creating a small opening for just his eye.
The sky turned pitch black. The surroundings changed from the lights of the array to empty darkness.
'I can't smell, feel the ground, and worse, I can't feel anything like before,' he mused, unable to sense mana or other energies.
The light violet magic array disappeared from his vision, and even the marble floor turned dark, as he felt himself floating in space.
"And… this pressure," he muttered, as he felt incredibly heavy. His knees trembled and bent. He almost knelt down.
"Is this… a domain?" he exclaimed.
He narrowed his eyes, glancing at Nobi, who was surrounded by small, palm-sized glowing stars.
He turned his eyes, glancing at Thomas, who was just sipping his beer.
'Is this… common power?' he wondered, sensing indifference from the lion-headed instructor.
"I'm feeling uneasy," he muttered, wiping his sweat. 'I should call for help directly. I cannot plan nor respond to unknown power,' he thought grimly, as stars filled the entire surroundings—left, right, up, and even below in the space.
"Star Resonance—Star Burst," Nobi snapped her two fingers, pointing them at Young Slime.
"Crap!" Young Slime yelled as a jolting chill spread from his core through his body.
"Mana Shield!"
He cast hastily, forming another layer of transparent blue barrier all over him.
Boom!
Crack!
A star next to Young Slime exploded with a bright burst of white light.
The defensive barriers shattered in one go, and the Demonic Cloak vanished due to impact, despite Slime#47 dumping massive demonic force into it.
Boom!
Another star exploded.
"Damn, Mana Shield!" he yelled, covering his head with both hands.
'I ran out of demonic force,' he thought, irritation burning with the powerlessness.
He ran out of demonic force rapidly, unable to draw even a trace of Nobi's true power.
A barrier formed, covering him.
'I cannot turn into elemental form.' He clicked his tongue. Elemental forms take more damage from energy attacks compared to a physical body.
Splosh!
Both his hands burst into liquid under the impact of the second star explosion.
Boom!
"Help!" he roared as another star burst detonated on his left.
Whoosh!
He suddenly felt a huge shadow over him as Thomas appeared on his left.
The instructor simply raised his left hand and dispersed the burst's impact with a sweep of his palm.
Then he simply punched the black sky above with his right fist.
Crack!
Deep fissure spread across the area, as light from the magic array swept in.
The cracks extended at a rapid rate, shattering the domain and collapsing the stars like a broken mirror.
Broken shards fell apart and dispersed like fog.
"Ha…" Young Slime took deep breaths, wiping his sweat as he collapsed on the ground.
"Rapid Regeneration," Thomas cast, as a light green magic rune flared on his palm.
Green light fell over Young Slime, healing his injuries and reforming his shattered hands as his combat uniform reshaped to fit them.
"Thanks," Slime#47 appreciated the instructor's help.
"Puff… how was it?" Nobi asked, as she sat on the ground as well, panting.
"Is it energy-consuming?" Young Slime asked, noticing her heavy breathing.
"Yes—" Nobi couldn't complete her words as Thomas said coldly, "What did I say, young lady?"
She rubbed her forehead awkwardly as the instructor yelled, "Did you want to kill Young Slime over here?"
"No," she retorted. "I wanted to let him know bloodline power."
"Very powerful… no wonder the title of true demon is handed over directly," Young Slime exclaimed, feeling jealous.
'I want that kind of power… but I don't have powerful ancestors,' he mused.
"But—" He was cut off before he could ask why Elder Slime didn't mention them as true demons, as Thomas said sharply, "True demon… yes, she is. But powerful demons like Tier Four or… Demon Kings won't recognize this bloodline power…"
"I have this power due to being a descendant of a Demon King…" Nobi said, her eyes dim. "And prideful, strong demons mock demons who use this power and call themselves true demons."
'So… Elder Slime is really strong… and prideful?' Slime#47 was shocked.
"But it's so powerful… and is that a domain?" he asked, raising his brows, gulping a recovery potion tossed by the instructor.
"Why are you mocked?" He didn't understand why that great power is seen so low. "Isn't it strong?"
"Domain…" Thomas muttered. "You know about them?" he asked, glancing down at Young Slime.
"I know a little," Slime#47 replied, gulping another recovery potion.
"They mock us because… It's a power that cannot be trained," Nobi replied, still panting.
"Cannot be trained?" Young Slime muttered. "But still so powerful?"
"It grows directly as per the user's strength," Thomas said, sighing. "But its limit is locked."
"Limit?" Young Slime murmured, as his eyes gleamed. "So… it can only reach until the ancestor's power?"
He'd read so many novels—how could he not understand the drawback of bloodline power after a hint!
"Yes, and king is the limit for bloodline power," Thomas nodded, appreciating how Young Slime realized it so quickly.
"And demons always try to become the strongest… king is not seen as the limit," Nobi said, clenching her fist.
She then gulped down a potion, taking it from her storage spell.
"That's how it is…" Young Slime nodded, understanding. "And is it a domain?" he asked again.
"No, it's a pseudo domain," Thomas said. "And no more questions…" He raised his palm, stopping Slime#47 from asking more. "You'll learn that later somehow. Now check the growth %."
"Yes… growth%." Young Slime nodded as his lips twitched. He wanted to get more info.
He opened the combat style status.
