Primordial Awakening: Limitless Growth With Ex Rank Ability

Chapter 45: Primordial Dragon Awakens

After everything that happened, Amon couldn't sleep once again.

He thought about the events that had just occurred as he stepped into his house.

Honestly… he didn't know what to think anymore.

The threat of a rank 7 star gate that could practically destroy everything as he knew it was hard to bear.

'How can I get stronger fast?' Many thoughts surged into Amon's mind.

And the only option he had was to ask Instructor Damien the next day.

Just as he was about to enter a state of meditation, he recalled something and immediately communicated with his gift.

[Name: Amon Adam

Age: 15

Unique Aspect: Limitless Physique

Primordial Path: Mortal Vein

Celestial Gift: Primordial Genesis {Invisibility, healing, sword art enhancement}

Creation Points: 6,068

Strength: 15

Agility: 17

Vitality: 12

Perception: 2]

Unsurprisingly, because Amon had killed so many beasts during the entrance test and just now when he dealt with the star beasts, he had gathered a staggering 2000 Creation Points.

It was truly absurd to think about, after all it was a number Amon had to spend more than two years to gather.

And it also confirmed his guess that due to his father's helping hands, the amount of Creation Points he obtained per beast he slayed was far lesser.

'However, that isn't the reason I called up the runes.' Amon whispered internally and began forming a creation in his mind.

A complex mechanism was being crafted, and it only took a few seconds.

Amon didn't particularly know the mechanism it was created from, so he could only picture the image of what he was trying to create in his mind.

[Do you wish to create Corpse Dissolving Powder? This creation will cost 1000 C.Ps.]

Reading the line of words, Amon was dumbfounded.

A whopping 1000 Creation Points to create the tool Helena had in her hands?

Amon was hesitant.

He had to save the Creation Points for whenever they would be beneficial in the future.

Amon contemplated the importance of his decision for a long while before he finally gritted his teeth and made the purchase.

Watching his 6000+ Creation Points decrease by 1000 instantly, he felt his heart tighten.

Consoling himself that it would benefit him later, Amon waited for the creation to be completed.

Soon, an object appeared in his hand.

It was a small bottle and there was a strange powder inside that looked silvery and slightly whitish.

Amon raised it up to eye level and examined it closely.

'This little thing for a thousand Creation Points?' Amon felt it was a wasted effort.

Still, since the creation was done there was no time for regret.

With a long sigh, Amon placed it into his universe ring.

Just as he was about to close his eyes, his expression froze as he sensed something.

'It can't be…' Amon exclaimed internally, then quickly reached his senses into the primordial core in his stomach.

His perception sank deeper and in an instant it arrived in front of a sleeping creature.

The creature moved slightly, then stirred, and its milky eyes gradually squinted open.

'It's awake!' Amon exclaimed in excitement.

For the past ten years, the primordial dragon had been in a deep slumber and Amon didn't know when it would wake up next.

He had asked Light about what could be the solution but even Light had no idea what caused the dragon's slumber.

Watching the little creature wake up from its ten year sleep, Amon's heart was filled with excitement.

"A… Amon?" A voice called out in his mind.

Amon was bewildered, "You can speak?"

"Somehow…" the weak voice replied, and Amon felt his core stir once more.

The next instant his perception disconnected from his core and he appeared back in the real world.

Sitting in his arm was the snow white cat that radiated a sense of purity.

The cat looked at him with its watery black eyes and Amon could sense their intimate bond and closeness.

"Do you remember anything?" Amon asked agitatedly.

"No… I only recall how to speak. The other memories seem to be buried in the depths of my mind or I must have lost them entirely."

Amon was slightly disappointed.

However it was understandable.

The primordial dragon was dead and this was merely its new form.

Still, he was curious about who the primordial dragon had been warning him about before leaving the world.

Amon still kept it in mind and had maintained some caution toward everyone for a long time, never fully trusting anyone.

He knew he was being paranoid about the whole situation but he couldn't help it.

"Oh." Amon turned to the cat and commented, then stroked its fur lightly with a doting expression on his face.

"Don't worry about it."

The cat weakly purred then stated, "I'm hungry…"

"Hungry?" Amon was astounded.

Where could he get food at this time of night?

Just as he was racking his brain, a tender piece of meat appeared in front of the cat.

Instantly the little boy pounced on the meat and began eating without a care in the world.

"It's that easy?" Amon was bewildered.

Hesitating slightly he voiced, "I'm hungry."

The silence in the room stretched and only the sound of the little cat munching echoed in the dimly lit room.

Amon felt slightly awkward.

The cat suddenly interrupted his thoughts, "It… doesn't work like that. Just think of what you want and create it."

"Oh," Amon nodded then rubbed the little cat's head lovingly.

"Thanks for the heads up."

After thanking the cat, Amon began thinking of what he wanted. It had been a few days since he'd had his mother's meal, so he immediately thought of that.

Immediately, a line of glowing runes flashed to life.

[Detected a few sumptuous dishes, do you wish to proceed with creation? This will cost 5 Creation Points.]

'Huh?' Stunned, Amon quickly called up his status screen then glanced at the rune area representing the Creation Points.

The next moment his expression turned weird.

He was shocked to realize his Creation Points had decreased by 3.

Turning to the cat, he made the connection immediately.

"Hey little guy…" Amon tried to speak in a warm voice, "Enough with the creation okay? Let's manage for now. I'll give you something to eat tomorrow alright?"

Staring at the three pieces of meat in front of the little cat, Amon felt his heart clench.

The little cat paused in its movements then returned to its meal with a nod.

Heaving a relieved sigh, Amon was inwardly astounded.

'The little guy can use my gift as well? Is this something common in this world or is my case just different?'

Amon had never heard of something like this and he couldn't help being curious.

Unable to come to an answer, he watched the little cat finish its meal.

The cat walked back to him with a pout on its lips.

Amon pinched the furry cheeks of the little creature, unable to resist its cuteness, and picked it up.

Bringing it closer to his face, he grinned.

"Little guy, I should give you a name right? What kind of name should I give you?"

"So dizzy…" the little cat weakly protested.

Amon just laughed and finally came up with a name for the primordial dragon.

"I'll call you Aegon… Aegon the Conqueror. Do you like it?"

The little cat's eyes glowed brightly as it nodded repeatedly, clearly pleased with the name.

"Alright. Aegon it is. Together… you and I will conquer and rule the world!"
