Lustful Way to Immortality, From Primitive Boy to Immortal God

Chapter 63: Letting others know about gold coins.

After coming out of the village chief's courtyard, Manu was about to remove the cloth from his face, but Fuyu told him not to, as they needed to remain hidden until they reached a safe place.

"Oh sorry, sorry, my bad. But brother, I have never in my lifetime seen so much money. I am sure not even mother in her lifetime has seen so much money at once. Fk*... yeah... we got rich!" Manu said as he looked at the gold coin in his palm with sparkling eyes. He had never seen such a coin before, not even once by mistake.

"Yeah, yeah, now calm down."

"Yeah, sorry, but I really can't... I don't know what you are and how you can be so smart. I would have sold that in less and didn't even make it this far. You are really so fucking genius that I can't explain. I feel like I should worship you." Manu built a bridge of high praise until Fuyu stopped him before Manu asked about the "boss" thing he had told to the village chief.

"Oh, that I lied."

"What? Really? I thought you really knew someone like that."

"Nah, it's nothing like that."

"But bro, what should we do now that we are so rich? And should we go and bring back more flowers from there?" Manu asked with excitement. He couldn't contain his joy anymore and wanted to tell this to someone. His respect and admiration had increased significantly toward Fuyu after witnessing his magnificent negotiation with the village chief, like a pro businessman, even though Fuyu had never done business before. Manu had even added another goal to his life, other than marriage with Rani and taking revenge for his father's death: to be like Fuyu.

"No, no more flower thing for now," Fuyu said as they were walking toward Manu's hut, which was currently being used by Fuyu.

"But haven't we promised to give three more bottles to the old man?"

"Well, we still have plenty of time, so no hurry. And as for the money, you keep those two coins and marry Rani. When we reach home, tell Mother to arrange marriage as soon as possible. You must be very excited to marry her, as well. And yeah, I will clear your hut soon," Fuyu said calmly while keeping the rest of the seven coins in his possession.

"Bro, you are so generous, but I don't feel like keeping this much money for myself. How about you keep it and give it to me in need? Otherwise, if I get this much money, I might spend it. And you don't need to empty my room; you can use that. I will make a new one," Manu said with a smile. Fuyu nodded since he knew Manu didn't like that small, one-room hut from beginning. Out of desperation, he had agreed to stay there, but now that he had money, he didn't need to live in that shady place anymore.

"Alright, as you wish. As for the coin, if you don't want to keep it, then give it to Mother. She will use that wisely. And remember not to tell anyone about this business of ours. Don't tell anyone about this. Do you understand?" Fuyu asked in a serious tone as he went to his hut. Manu went to Nula's hut to tell her about preparing the arrangements for his marriage.

Soon after hiding the gold coins in a safe place in his hut (Manu's old hut), Fuyu also went to the Nula's hut, where he was bombarded with multiple questions at once. Nula, Lara, Katty, and Susan encircled him to know what was happening and how the heck Manu had come and directly given that much money into Nula's hand and told her to arrange his marriage. Nula was so stunned by this that it almost felt illegal to just hold the money in her palm, but it was too expensive to let it fall to the ground, so she kept it but didn't want to. She asked Manu many questions about how he got that. Did he actually rob someone's house? But Manu didn't answer; he only said it was alright and they didn't need to react like that. But seeing Nula and the others pressuring him too much, he directed the pressure toward Fuyu, saying he would tell them.

"Fuyu, tell me quickly, how did you get this? Come on, don't remain quiet and tell me. If you don't, then I am going to kick you out of the house. It's making my heart race with worry. I will surely get a heart attack in the future because of you," Nula said hurriedly. She was worried to her core because if it was something illegal, their life would become doomed if the officials learned about this.

"Yes, Fuyu, how under the heavens did you do this? I can't process everything it feels so terrifiying. So tell us, both of you, didn't do anything illegal to get this much money," Susan asked as her heart was also beating faster. She was worried about the future of the kids if something bad had happened. Lara and Katty also pressured him. Fuyu got overwhelmed by the sudden burst, but he had expected this to happen—though not like this. Thank goodness Manu hadn't told the others that they had several more gold coins in their possession other than these two.

"Mother, at least let me come inside the hut first," Fuyu said in a calm tone.

"No, you aren't coming inside until you tell everything truthfully to me," Nula said with an angry yet serious expression. Her mind was already calculating the infinite number of worst possible outcomes of her son's doing. She was truly terrified, not because of this money, but at the thought of her son being kept as a captive for a crime. She had already lost her husband, and no matter the cost, she didn't want to lose her last hope, the last string of hope that was keeping her alive. She just wanted to break into tears right here, right now, in front of everyone, but was controlling herself because she didn't know the truth.

"Yes, we aren't letting you come inside," Lara repeated the words. Fuyu looked at them as if he were looking at some idiots.

"Don't be stupid, Mother. You don't want me to tell you everything here, do you? We are really outside, Mother," Fuyu said, trying to remain composed, even as his instinct was screaming to tell them everything truthfully and enjoy their reactions.

"Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. Come inside first." Nula immediately pulled him inside. Her mind clicked that others could overhear their talks, which is why she pulled everyone inside before closing the door shut. Their questions remained the same.

"Now tell us fast," Nula said with concerned looks.

"Well, first, everyone calm down. It's nothing that serious for you to overreact like that," Fuyu said calmly. His hand was still grabbed by Nula. She had placed her hand on her chest, as her chest was rising and falling rapidly with anxiety while she tried to calm down.

"Are you kidding me, Fuyu? How can we calm down? Two whole gold coins! It's way too much money for a boy like you to have out of nowhere. And we have seen you going to this extent to massage others just to get some kuri, and then suddenly you got these. How?" Susan said as she pulled his attention by placing both of her palms on Fuyu's cheeks and making him look at her. Although normally an aunt shouldn't get in the personal life of her nephew and sister but they have become way closer over the year that her involvement doesn't feel burden but love of her.

"Well, I understand your concern, Mother and Aunt. But it's nothing to worry about, as we only had done a trade with the village chief, and he gave us this," Fuyu explained as everyone looked at him in disbelief, shock, more confusion, and concern.

"What? What trade?"

"Sorry, Mother, I can't tell you for now. I will tell you later. But you can rest assured that it's nothing dangerous, and I haven't sold our house or field to them," Fuyu said with a giggle.

The others remained unsatisfied with his answer and tried to pressure him more, but seeing him remain firm, Nula sighed in defeat before telling everyone not to pressure her baby too much. She believed her son wouldn't do anything to make his mommy sad. Nula said this with a motherly smile while continuing, "As your mother, baby, all I can do is put my trust blindly in you. But I hope you wouldn't let my belief in you crumble. No matter what, your mommy loves you." Nula said this to Fuyu in front of everyone before hugging him tightly.

Susan only saw this wholesome scene with numb eyes. She couldn't gather up the strength to say something lovable to him or to show him love from her side. It's not that she was feeling ashamed or found it hard to show it to him in front of the kids, but because she didn't want to make Nula feel like she was taking her son away from her, which Nula wouldn't like to see. Since she knew Nula's nature toward her son was a bit tricky, she didn't want to be the bone of contention in their relationship, even though her love was pure and genuine. While hugging him, Nula talked with Fuyu, whispering in each other's ears. It was a bit of a secret between them. If someone paid a bit of attention to Nula, they could see a flushed expression on her face, not out of worry, but something else.

"Huh... Aunt, stop us from asking anymore, but I am really interested to know about this sudden growth of your husband's income," Katty lightly whispered to Lara. Lara told her she would ask him in private; she believed he would tell her in personal.
