"Grrr, I can't believe you think about me like that," I kicked a rock on the side of the road as we made our way out of the Grenir village.

"You're still on that?" Rivi laughed, spinning around to face me with her arms behind her back. "Come on, I said I was sorry, didn't I?"

"But you didn't really mean it." I grumbled, determined not to give into her cuteness.

"Aww, can I help finding you so adorable? It's an instinctive reaction. Boop!" She pressed a finger on my nose, which I quickly swatted away. "I don't have any control over it." She grinned at my furious expression.

"Whatever," I turned away from her, crossing my arms. "Why are we even out here, we haven't decided on our next destination, have we?"

"Ohh? Who's to say I haven't decided yet?"

"Did you just wake up and decide to be infuriating today!? What's up with you?" I finally burst out.

"Ahh, sorry, sorry, maybe I pushed it a little too far." She laughed. "You're just so adorable when you're angry…"

"You!" I grabbed her arm and wound up a fist like I was going to punch her.

"Alright, alright!" She held up her hands. "I won't tease you anymore. In truth I didn't really have a destination in mind yet, I just wanted to pull you out of the village since you insisted on yelling at me like a mad woman."

I took a long breath, staring at her with hatred in my heart. "Fine, fine…is what you thought I would say!?" I summoned my magic and began whaling on her with the spell she had used in our pillow fight. "Stop. Doing this to me. You're so. Irritating!" I yelled as I barraged her with air magic.

Surprisingly she didn't fight back, but instead fell back onto the ground in a fit of giggles. But seeing her delighted only made me more furious, so I abandoned my air magic and went down on the ground over her, tickling her up and down her waist line.

"Is that how you think of me!? Who's the puppy now!? Huh!? Huh!?" I yelled at her as her laughs grew more and more desperate under the admonishment of my fingers.

"Silvie you…ahahahah…you…ahahahaha...why are you so terrible…ahaha…at insults…ahahahahaha," She wheezed between breaths. "No stop!" She squealed as I pinned her arms above her head, pinching the soft flesh of her forearms as I did so.

"Say. You're sorry." I glared down at her, my voice suddenly a little husky as I gazed deep into her gorgeous black eyes still wild with laughter.

"Ahe, ahehehe, ah" Her giggling slowly died down as I stopped my tickling.

She looked at my face so close to her own, an unknown emotion etched across my expression. "Sivlie, what are you—Ouch! Ok! Ok! I'm sorry!" She cried after I pinched her again.

"For?" The word came out of my throat nearly as a growl, my red eyes flashed and I felt a strange hunger growing inside of me.

"For…" She stared at me and then at my lips, wide-eyed. "For calling you a puppy…" I could feel her heart racing under mine. Her soft lips were right there, so close, and all mine for the taking.

I leaned in, urged on by something primal inside of me, and yet something else held me back. "Do you…want this?" I asked hoarsely, my confidence breaking as I looked into her eyes, desperate for an answer.

She didn't answer in words, but instead leaned forwards pushing her lips against my own. My eyes widened in surprise and I leaned back, breaking the kiss. "What am I supposed to…." I looked down uncertainly at her eyes, greedy for more. "This is my first time." I whispered.

She smiled and pulled me back towards her, "I'll show you," She whispered into my ear, before pulling me down onto the ground beneath her, reversing our positions. "Follow my lead," She whispered again. Gently, ever so gently she pushed her lips against mine, pulling my mouth apart gradually as I sunk into the kiss, letting my hesitant lips follow the lead of her insistent tugging until through the opening gates of our mouths I felt the hesitant tap on the end of my tongue of an intruder.

My eyes widened and I might have pulled back, had she not been holding me down firmly in place. I felt her tongue move invitingly across mine, intertwining and then pulling back, as if inviting me to follow. Remembering her instructions, I couldn't help but obey, pushing my tongue forwards out of my mouth into hers, immersed in the strange thrills of delight running down my spine, as all my thoughts and worries melted out of my mind as I lost myself in that kiss.

Finally, after who knows how long, she pulled back, releasing me with a smile before snuggling her head under my chin. "I've been wanting to do that for too long." She sighed contentedly as she nestled her head closer to mine. "Thank you." She leaned up and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I was too stunned to reply, looking up at the sunny sky like my whole world had changed. I had kissed a girl as a girl. I had kissed Rivi, that sweet, bubbly dragon girl. I had kissed and been kissed, and even used tongue! I felt like my world was crumbling down around me, and yet it was an exhilarating feeling, like a whole new world had opened up before me.

I felt silly for being so dramatic, but I couldn't ignore the thrill of excitement racing through me. I sighed happily and wrapped my arms around Rivi, who was still resting on my shoulder. "I'm so glad it was with you," I whispered.

(five minutes earlier)

[Bell: Ahhh, what do we do, they're being so weird, I don't want to watch this!!!!]

[Rufi: What can you do. Just sit back and ignore them, it's not like they're doing anything that inappropriate]

Rufi curled up on the side of the road, only sparing her companions a spare glance before closing her eyes to nap.

[Bell: Ugh, no!! Tickling? Pillow fighting? What the hell all this stuff looks so disgusting. When I grow up I definitely don't want a body. No thank you! Let me sit in my void in peace!]

[Rufi: Oh? Then why are you contacting me if you're so content in that little void of yours?]

[Bell: Obviously to show off this new ability! How do you like them? I call them stealth windows! They appear only in your thoughts, so we can talk even if you have your eyes closed. Hahahaha, you can't escape me!!]

[Rufi:...]

[Bell: No!!! What'd you do, why'd your window suddenly disappear, what the heck! These were supposed to be infallible .·°՞(っ-ᯅ-ς)՞°·.]

[Rufi: It's my thoughtscape idiot, I have complete control over what stays and what goes. What did you think I became a divine companion by accident?]

[Bell: Ohhh :O]

[Bell: Ahhhhh! Don't look at them, they're doing even grosser stuff now!!!! I swear I'm not coming out for the next week, this stuff is too gross!!!]
