Chapter 223: Six Domains!

"A Domain, huh? Cute."

Zero's voice was calm, almost bored, as he floated amidst the crushing gravity of the Void Shrine.

But beneath the mask, Damien's mood was completely different, feeling the familiar suffocating pressure, his brows furrowed.

'This pressure...' Damien thought, his mental teeth gritted. '

It's heavy. It's almost like the kingdom of God back at the Academy; it's the law! How the hell is he using the law without being a demigod!'

Lost in thought, Damien looked up

Above him, the once familiar blue sky was gone, and even the sun was gone.

In its place, there was only the weeping face of the Corrupted Buddha looming behind the Prince, its thousand arms twitching with malice.

The gravity was so intense that the bedrock below was turning into diamond.

Lyra's body, his current vessel was groaning under the strain. Her bones creaked. Capillaries in her eyes burst, filling her vision with red.

Adding to the earlier stress from the battle, she was obviously reaching her limit

'He is touching the 9th Order inside this space,' Damien analyzed. 'It seems I cannot afford to hold back, otherwise I might be the one who ends up losing.'

Closing his eyes, he thought of everyone on the ground and their current state.

'And losing is not an option!'

With this in mind, he reached into the deep reserve of the Trans-Dimensional Link.

He tapped into the Greedy King's Intent, his Voss shadow mana, dragon aura, and even the abyss mana that the system had just merged with him.

He reached into everything he could summon, unwilling to hold even the slightest bit back; he wanted to display the full potential of 90,000 Dp!

"Prince," Zero whispered. "I hope you aren't just bluffing with this domain, otherwise this fight will end soon"

"After all even I don't know how strong I am right now!"

The shadows under Zero's feet exploded.

VWMMM.

In an instant they rose out of nowhere. Massive, spectral wings of black smoke and golden veins erupted from Lyra's back, tearing through the spectral coat.

A colossal avatar formed around him.

A beast. A Shadow Dragon woven from the deepest Abyss and the brightest Sun, its jaws wide enough to swallow a mountain.

Zero opened his eyes. One gold. One black.

"Domain Expansion: Shadow Dragon Kingdom."

BOOM.

The darkness hit the Void like a physical wall.

Half the sky turned pitch black and gold.

The Void Shrine was pushed back violently. The two realities ground against each other like tectonic plates, creating lightning storms of pure, chaotic mana that vaporized the clouds.

In the skies, the battle between the honored one and the Void prince was about to take place

And below them, stunned by the Prince's sudden domain, King Durin and Queen Aelinor looked up.

Above, they saw the stalemate. The Void Buddha vs. The Shadow Dragon.

"The kid isn't holding it back," Durin grunted, shaking off the sudden pressure.

"Since he wants to battle the prince, then we can't let anyone interfere."

Durin slammed his magma-wreathed hammer into the ground.

"Wake up, Mountain!" Durin roared.

The earth split. Molten gold and iron erupted from the cracks, solidifying instantly into thousands of floating weapons, hammers, axes, spears.

The ground turned into a furnace.

"Domain Expansion: Forge of the Craftsman God."

To his left, Queen Aelinor stabbed her World Tree Staff into the corrupted mud.

"Grow," she commanded softly.

Roots thick as castle towers tore through the Void mud. White flowers bloomed instantly, burning away the corruption with life energy. A spectral forest rose from the desert.

From it. All kinds of Giant treants began to rise, each of them comparable to a sixth-order warrior

"Domain Expansion: World Tree's Embrace."

CRASH.

The battlefield split into four distinct realities.

The North was a Furnace of Iron. The West was a Forest of life. The South was a Shrine of Void. And the Sky was a Kingdom of Shadow.

Back in the air, the Second Prince watched the struggle.

From the dragon in front of him, he felt a certain mana he hadn't felt in sixteen years, mana from a family that had caused him so much trouble.

Realising something, Prince's mutated eye widened.

A memory from sixteen years ago surfaced, a man standing in the Dragon Empire capital, defying the Emperor with that same arrogant darkness.

"That shadow..." the Prince whispered. "That mana..."

He pointed a shaking, clawed finger at Zero.

"So that's it! No wonder you survived! No wonder you hate me!"

The Prince threw his head back and laughed,a sound of pure, unadulterated rage.

"ZERO! YOU ARE A VOSS!"

The revelation echoed across the battlefield.

"But is doesn't matter!" the Prince shrieked. "I killed that family once before, and now I will kill the rest of their tails, eliminating it from the pages of history"

"Forever!"

He turned to the two hooded figures floating behind him, the 8th Order Void High Priests who were disguised as knights.

"DONT HOLD BACK!" the Prince commanded. "CRUSH HIM!"

The Priests raised their withered hands.

"Domain Expansion: Ocean of Rot." "Domain Expansion: Whispering Void."

BOOM!

Six Domains.

Six conflicting laws of reality clashed in a space less than five miles wide.

The world screamed.

KRA-KOOM.

The sky fractured like a mirror hit by a hammer.

The ground below ceased to be solid. It churned into a chaotic soup of magma, roots, rotting flesh, void mud, and living shadow.

Thousands of Empire Void Beasts and Alliance soldiers were vaporized instantly, their bodies unable to withstand the conflicting spiritual pressures.

"RUN!"

Leona grabbed Alaric, Elena, Hephestus and Lukas.

As for Alfred, he was completing the task of guarding the Dwarf capital alone to prevent any sneak attacks.

"This isn't a regular battle anymore!" Leona yelled over the roar of the apocalypse.

"We have to hide, or we'll all die!"

Quickly, they dove toward the wreckage of a fallen Ancient War Titan.

They scrambled inside the hollowed-out ribcage of the stone giant, using its enchanted hull as a bunker.

Outside, the world ended. Lightning struck the ground, turning sand to glass. Gravity fluctuated, making rocks float and then crush flat.

"He's fighting five of them," Leona gasped, looking through a crack in the stone.

"It's like he's fighting the whole Empire alone."

….......…..

Back in the sky, the situation began to become worse.

Inside the Shadow Dragon avatar, Damien gasped.

Blood leaked from Lyra's nose, ears, and eyes beneath the mask. The strain was tearing her apart.

A system notification flashed in his mind, urgent and red.

[Warning: Host Body Critical.]

[Trans-Dimensional Link Stability: 72 Hours.]

[After 72 Hours, the vessel will burn out. Connection will be severed.]

"Seventy-two hours," Damien hissed.

He looked at the Prince, surrounded by the Void Buddha and the High Priests. He looked at Durin and Aelinor, holding their own but fading.

He knew he couldn't win this instantly. The Prince was immortal inside his Domain, just like he said before.

'I have to find a way to wipe them out completely at once!'

Thinking of a plan, Zero amplified his voice.

He projected it through the Shadow Domain, making it boom from every shadow on the battlefield.

"PRINCE!"

The chaos paused for a microsecond.

"Three days," Zero declared cold and hard.

"You have three days to defeat me, or else you will have no chance."

The Shadow Dragon roared, pushing the Void Buddha back a hundred meters.

"So gather your armies! Summon your demons! Pray to your false God."

Zero raised a hand, pointing a spectral finger at the Prince's mutated face.

"In three days, the sun will set on your Empire. Either I die... or you die."

ROAR.

The Shadow Dragon unleashed a breath of pure darkness, creating a wall of shadow that separated the Alliance from the Empire.

The 72-Hour War had begun.
