I Have a Dice Left by a God

Chapter 130: Hunting Enjoyment Club

Amosa slapped Sally hard, making her spin in place and fall to the ground, her face immediately swelling up. "Playing around is one thing, causing trouble is another, but when it's time to handle serious business, you have to get to it. Do you realize what time it is? You're still chasing after a few men. In a few days, your father will be the next to hit the guillotine, and you're still here acting foolish!"

Sally was shocked by what she heard, her face full of grievance, pouting, "It can't be that bad."

"The position of Marquis William is one with real power, and it's long been targeted by others. Sally, the marquis is very cautious, but you're filled with trouble. Haven't you thought about why those families of your pets dare to create such chaos? If no one was backing them, how would they dare? Anthony was the first, but not the last. If the marquis falls, forget about keeping those pets, you'll be waiting to be dealt with."

Sally couldn't care less about her face hurting at this point and quickly grabbed Amosa's foot. "Your Highness, Your Highness, save me! I'm yours."

Amosa smiled faintly, helping Sally up. The girls beside them immediately gave way, gently stroking Sally's face, and sighed lightly, "I hit you because I care about you, otherwise, hmph."

Sally immediately showed a charming smile, "Your Highness, you hit me well. Being hit by your highness makes me happy. I know it's because you care about me. What should I do? Should I have those lowlifes killed?"

"If only your brain were as big as your bust." Amosa gently stroked Sally's hair, "Take care of the pets, and don't worry about the others, especially keep your mouth shut. You're not young anymore; it's time to do something serious."

"Your Highness, I'll do anything you ask," Sally said obediently, like a lapdog at Amosa's feet.

"You need to settle with a man. If you do that, I believe the marquis will be very pleased." Amosa laughed.

"Who?" Sally's eyes lit up at the mention of a man.

"Didia from the Nasser family. I heard he doesn't have a girlfriend yet. You go get him and then bring him into the Hunting Enjoyment Club," Amosa said.

"Thunder Duke Didia?" Sally hesitated a bit, "I heard he's not fond of women, men like that are no fun."

"Then you can go back and think about what choice to make," Amosa said.

"Is there a choice? Is there another man?"

"You can choose to end up like Anthony, with your head chopped off or burned to death."

Sally shivered, "I choose Didia."

"Get up and eat. Arrangements will be made for you," Amosa said, frowning at Sally's outfit. "Such conservative men won't like flamboyant women, you should tone it down."

"Your Highness, I'm great at dealing with such little virgins. They may seem cool on the outside, but inside they're soft and passionate. Just need some tricks to crack his shell, and he'll obediently listen to you," Sally said.

The Hunting Enjoyment Club was her creation, only those with pure Hedan noble blood could join. Her idea was to create an organization that could preserve Hedan's traditions. The ancestors of the Moncalleta royal family started with hunting, hence the name of the club. Nobility has always enjoyed diverse entertainments, for what else is life for? Protect the country when necessary, and enjoy life otherwise. That's always been the way in Moncalleta, her second uncle is such a hypocrite, grabbing the throne without legitimacy, needing all sorts of false pretenses to package himself.

He knows the nobility doesn't truly acknowledge him, and he just tries to eliminate dissidence through various means, not realizing it only makes the nobility align more with her father.

Her friends are not without use; she's been responsible for arranging a lot of marriages among Hedan's elites. After all, they're all friends, bonds of interest, play when they should. After Anthony's death, the Nasser family seems scared, now trying to please both sides, but that's unacceptable.

The solution is simple; now that their legitimate heir is only Didia, getting Didia will let them know which side to stand with.

Of course, relying solely on women isn't enough; outstanding men are like wild horses needing to be tamed, especially one like Didia. Sally is just an appetizer for him; there will be ways to make him obedient, just like Anthony, who was arrogant at first, but later became obedient like a dog. It was just unexpected that he would lose control that way in public, indeed deserved death, Hunting Enjoyment Club doesn't keep useless members.

After the minor incident, the atmosphere quickly became lively again, with fine wine and food. Apart from not being able to have a few pet men perform as entertainment like before, everything else was the same. Sally getting hit was no big deal; among the young generation in Hedan, not being hit by Amosa wasn't considered part of the elite.

Sally was about to undertake a great task, and since it involved Didia, such a young talent, her sisters were somewhat envious. After all, he was the heir to the Nather family, and she would become a duchess in the future, which was a promotion. Even though she got slapped, Sally, after figuring things out, treated Amosa with more respect and caution.

No one who joined the Hunting Enjoyment Club dared to defy Amosa. No matter how stubborn they were at first, they eventually obeyed obediently. In time, they all enjoyed this lifestyle. Now, someone wanted to disrupt this life, even kill them, which made them enemies.

Returning to the manor late at night after the second event ended, Amosa threw her bag to the maid, kicked off her shoes, and lazily lay on the sofa. Footsteps sounded on the stairs; Prince Oliver was not yet asleep. He looked at the alcohol-scented Amosa and sighed softly, "Play is play, but drink less; it's harmful to your health."

"Father, Father, let me tell you. I devised a plan to deal with Didia. Hehe, this kid wants to ally with Achilles, but got rejected. This is my perfect opportunity to strike. I've prepared a 'gentle hell' package for him. I want to see how he differs from Anthony," Amosa boasted proudly. "Father, am I awesome? I want to be queen!"

Oliver took the sobering tea from the maid and handed it personally to Amosa, "You, you are too strong-willed. I actually understand your Uncle. He wouldn't do anything to you."

"Father, people change. Even if he doesn't, what about Hokele? He may hide it well, but I can see his disgust for me. I don't want to become the one to be sacrificed one day!" Suddenly, Amosa sobered up, or perhaps she was never really drunk.

Oliver smiled slightly, "Then I'll try to live a few more years to help my little princess achieve her wish."

"Uncle Boka is amazing. Father will definitely become a god and be immortal!" Amosa said.

Amosa had absolute confidence in her father's ability. Oliver had shown exceptionally high talent in spiritual abilities from a young age, mastering hidden powers upon contact. Even in the talent-rich Moncalleta, he was rare. This wasn't due to his status, but as an heir, he abandoned using Divine Relics for greater hidden power, dedicating himself to the nation. However, their grandfather changed his mind suddenly, causing instability in the empire for years before transitioning. Moncalleta's national fortune was too strong, stabilizing even with such a counter-traditional change.

Of course, Oliver also made concessions, accepting all this and beginning to practice hidden powers. However, most Divine Relics are best absorbed early, and despite his talent, missed opportunities must be compensated for doubly, making his later practices challenging. So he sought many methods, recruiting numerous mysterious talents. Boka, once the sixth elder of the Gourmet Association and most gifted, was later expelled and taken in by Oliver. Yet, given the side effects of Dark Cuisine, Oliver refused to use it, though not dismissing Boka due to his talent.

"Dark Cuisine has its advantages but also considerable drawbacks. Remember, this hidden power is just a tool to be used but never tried. Only this way can you achieve your wish," Oliver advised.

The human heart is most complex. The creation of the Hunting Enjoyment Club was easy, but the younger generation is rebellious, and families constantly waver in interests. Amosa's idea was good but she couldn't grasp it. Once, after crying her heart out at home, Oliver told her this method, strictly forbidding her from consuming it, explaining that consuming Dark Cuisine would turn one into a puppet.

Amosa was once curious, even tempted a few times, but having seen the side effects of Dark Cuisine, she avoided it entirely.

For an extremely ambitious woman, she loved the effects of Dark Cuisine. The rebels within the Club were quickly subdued; beliefs, knightly honor, none resisted. Coupled with desire and power, it formed a tight interest community around her, ultimately granting her a strong voice in the aristocracy and audacity in the school, with Estella not even being considered.

"Don't worry, Father, I won't make such a low-level mistake. Even if I want to eat gourmet, I can go to the Gourmet Association's," Estella smiled. "I think Uncle's situation seems fine; it looks like he can hold on for a long time. Father, I'm a bit impatient."

"Amosa, don't rush. The better your Uncle looks, the worse his situation is," Oliver laughed. "In governing the nation, he's capable. The longer he works at it, the more wealth he accumulates for you."

Amosa pouted proudly, "Thank you, Father, but I'm a little worried. If Vladimir becomes a Demigod, won't that help Uncle through this hurdle?"

Oliver struggled because he missed the best time for cultivation. Ola the Eighteenth struggled more because he had to suppress the growth of the Divine Relic within him. Yet he was favored by the gods, born to wealth. The problem arises; as a king, his access to hidden powers must be limited; the more he accesses, the more dangerous it becomes, contravening the laws set by Supreme Will. Either the Kingdom collapses, or Ola the Eighteenth perishes.

This dilemma was nearly unsolvable, yet Ola the Eighteenth did find a solution.

Employing the Celestial Principle School, reducing his divine favor, and even introducing the Hex Bird Report were all meant to allow limited entry of the Night Patrol. All these were to control his power. Over the years, he successfully restrained the divine favor granted by the Earth Mother Goddess. Moreover, the nation did not suffer from his reduced divine favor but solved issues, becoming stronger. Even Oliver had to admit this was wisdom at its greatest.

However, no method is perfect. The Red-robed Archbishops of the Earth Mother Goddess Court understood why the King did this, so they tolerated it within limits. After all, it's the Sixth Epoch, where divine authority is restricted. But with Vladimir achieving Demigod status, intense divisions arose within the Church Court, created by the "snatching of ecclesiastical fate." If the King's beliefs and stance "waver," is he still fit to be a king?

"Silly child, your father's life may be a failure, but having you is his greatest pride. Making you happy is my reason for living. Don't worry, your uncle's time is running out. I do wish he could struggle a little longer." Oliver smiled, looking at the red moon outside the window.

Amosa's gaze was full of admiration; this was her father, the true ruler of Moncalleta. He sacrificed everything for this country, and so she must reclaim everything for him, everything that rightfully belonged to them!
