"Yes! Yes! Master! Another merchant caravan is here!"
"Good! I'm on my way! You guys follow behind!" Land shouted excitedly, unable to contain himself as he gave a mighty flap of his dragon wings and soared into the sky!
A few minutes later, he saw his target.
A blonde woman, looking at her gear, totaling 39 Gold Talers.
A brunette woman, tsk~ 158 Gold Talers! Impressive! Impressive indeed! This woman is loaded! Wonderful, simply wonderful!
Just the equipment of these two women alone is nearly 200 Gold Talers!
He paid no mind to the gear of several guards, and the person in the middle with a hood hiding their face was similarly ignored.
Behind them was a carriage carrying two crates.
He couldn't see inside these two crates, but they were filled with magic's aura!
It must be a treasure beyond measure!
Land was filled with anticipation about this.
"Hahahahaha~"
Flying in the sky, Land couldn't help but laugh heartily at the thought.
With an elegant spin, accompanied by a slight tremor of the ground, he blocked the caravan's path.
"Friends, welcome to my domain! I am the great True Dragon! Land Saphis Oakben!"
Land spread his dragon wings, his gigantic form and fierce demeanor sent the horses used for travel into a frenzy of terror, with some fainting, some collapsing, and others going wild.
The guards sat on the ground in fear, shouting:
"Dragon! Giant Dragon! By the gods! Why must we encounter a Giant Dragon? Didn't they say there were no Giant Dragons here? Was it all lies?"
They pushed against the ground with their feet, slowly retreating while questioning the women ahead.
To them, this terrified display.
Land showed a satisfied expression, finding himself increasingly fond of the involuntary fear these small creatures displayed in his presence.
This would bring genuine satisfaction to the Five-Colored Dragons.
Making them feel his mighty presence truly like never before.
But what was the situation with the others?
Why were the blonde and brunette women so calm upon meeting him?
Was this confidence from backing? Could he have misjudged them? Were these two actually experts?
This seemed impossible!
These were ordinary humans, looking very young, and certainly couldn't be experts.
As a Giant Dragon, his Demon-Breaking Eye easily discerned they were purebred humans, not other races transformed by Transformation Skills.
They were bluffing him?
Land smirked disdainfully, wanting to toy with these little critters.
"Uhh! Uh uh uh!"
A strange noise suddenly came from the cargo.
Causing Land to show a hint of surprise in his eyes.
Unexpectedly, the cargo was a living being. If so, its value couldn't be guaranteed!
Perhaps prisoners of war? Such beings were hardly worth any money.
But if they were princes or princesses, perhaps he could extort their backing?
Or maybe other magical creatures? The value unknown?
Land thought of many things in that instant.
"Evil Dragon! Finally, I meet you!"
The blonde girl gnashed her teeth, glaring at the Giant Dragon with a look of deep-seated hatred.
This made Land pause, then nonchalantly rub his chin scales with his claw, causing a clattering sound, and said somewhat carelessly:
"You seem angry? Let me guess? Your lover or relative died at my hands?
Hmm! A change in expression, so it's true.
Sorry though, I really don't remember.
You should understand, once you step on too many ants, it's easy for a dragon to forget.
Could you trouble to tell me about your background? And who did I step on to death?"
"Evil Dragon! What an Evil Dragon! Fine, I'll tell you! Six months ago! You should remember the noble who entered the mine cave with his guards! I am that noble's daughter! My name is Viss Ackman!
I'm here for revenge! Evil Dragon!"
The blonde girl said hatefully, raising the magic staff in her hand, pointing directly at the Giant Dragon's head.
"Mine cave?" Land paused, showing astonishment:
"What mine cave, I don't know about that? Did you mistake me for another dragon? While I feel no guilt for stepping on ants and don't care, I have no intention of taking the blame for another dragon!"
"Still trying to argue?"
The blonde girl was furious, quickly running to the cargo, opening the cover to reveal what was inside.
Inside lay a young Red Dragon!
The Red Dragon hatchling was completely bound with rope like a cocoon, unable to move!
"Fiona? These fools actually caught you? Hardly can believe you haven't been killed? To thank you, I'll make sure to leave you a whole corpse."
Land growled, full of surprise.
"Uhh! Uh uh uh~~"
The little Female Dragon could only see the wooden crate wall ahead, but hearing Land call her name, wailed frantically with excitement.
Her body tried with all its might, like a fish out of water, flipping and crashing into the crate wall, making thumping sounds, evidently hoping Land would come save her soon!
"Since this box holds the fool Fiona.
The other must contain the idiot Ed?" Land asked.
"Uhh! Uh uh uh!!!" The other box emitted wailing and strange sounds, confirming Land's guess.
"Well! Seeing these two hatchlings, you still want to deny? It was those two who lost to my father, pretended surrender, and lured him into the cave, where you killed him!
You still want to argue?" The blonde girl glared venomously at Land, opening the other box.
Inside indeed was the Little Black Dragon.
Land narrowed his eyes slightly, looking deeply at the little Female Dragon and Little Black Dragon: "Fiona! Ed! It seems during my three years of dormant rest, you hid quite a few things from me!"
The two hatchlings shivered at his words, dared not make another sound.
"Enough! Idle talk is over, it's about time to depart, tell me, do you want to go to the Abyss or Hell?"
Land took a gentle step forward, slightly lowering his head, exhaling a hot breath towards the crowd!
This frightened one of the guards enough to wet his pants! The stench made Land show a slight disdain.
"Evil Dragon! Do you think you've got us? Hahaha! Ridiculous! Did you really think I came before you without a single preparation?"
The blonde girl sneered repeatedly, finally giving a low call to the cloaked figure:
"Amir!"
"!"
This took Land slightly aback, as he stepped back, growing alert.
Yet the cloaked figure made no response.
"Amir!"
The blonde girl raised her voice.
"Oh!"
An astonishing voice came from within the cloak.
"Amir! This Evil Dragon is yours!" The blonde girl declared heavily.
"Oh... oh! Of course! Don't worry, Viss!"
The cloaked person nodded, then lifted the cloak, revealing their true form.
It was evidently a silver-haired Elf, with exceptional looks and elegance.
