Chapter 236: Cain and the Goddess of Destiny Two Centuries Ordained

These two people were indeed promising.

Cain and the Demon King began to hide after obtaining the Divine Object.

Cain realized that he was highly compatible with this Evolution Divine Object, with a matching rate as high as 98.

This made him feel like the chosen one!

"What should we do now?"

Cain came from the outside world and wasn't very familiar with the environment here.

Behemoth said, "Research your Evolution Divine Object! If possible, grab Xiangtuo Mo's previous Divine Object."

Cain: "Obtain the dual Evolution Divine Objects?"

He indeed felt that his Divine Object needed to be used in conjunction with the Light of Evolution.

Thus, they decided to take advantage of their opponent's absence on a quest for Divine Objects and swiftly empty their lair instead.

Boom!

They infiltrated the realm of the gods, relying on the power of the Sixth Tier and the concealment of shadows, they succeeded.

"Xiangtuo Mo's Divine Object, the Hammer of Evolution, has been stolen!"

Someone shouted.

After claiming the Divine Object, Cain no longer held back but instead attempted to conquer the Human World, overthrow the previous God of Magic, and establish his own kingdom.

"I am a Sixth Tier god, and I will sow the fire of evolution!"

He began letting the creatures of the earth devour fermented grains.

"Damn it!"

The gods of magic finally showed anger, "Cain, he has actually infiltrated our world!"

"It's over, the first Sixth Tier has appeared. If he starts to produce many Fifth Tiers to birth Sixth Tier infants to help him rule the world, we would not be able to resist!"

"Cain would not, he won't choose to reproduce to give birth to the Sixth Tier, because if he doesn't study cultivation breakthroughs, Cain would eventually be overthrown by new Divine Era heroes."

"What do you mean?"

"Yes, holding the Evolution Divine Object, he will surely take the path of evolution, studying how to cultivate to break through to the Sixth Tier! He also wants to improve his realm through cultivation!"

"Anyway, reclaim the Divine Object!"

A great battle is about to erupt.

...

As the whole world is embroiled in a struggle for Divine Objects, and dramatic changes occur.

"Thank you, esteemed guests."

In a tavern in a city of a Western country, a beautiful bard held an accordion, singing.

She was born into a declining musical family and could only earn meager living expenses by being a folk singer in a tavern.

Her name was Fortuna.

She was naturally magic-proof, a mortal who couldn't cultivate.

But she didn't feel there was anything wrong with that.

This era no longer had a baseline for wisdom, and even had its upper limit locked, the gods wouldn't allow them to break through.

Everyone was ordinary, most could only reach First or Second Tier before dying.

She, as an untrainable mortal, was also very normal.

"Distant Xiangtuo Mo, footless bird..."

She sang folk mythology, her beautiful singing was exceptionally enchanting, captivating the guests present.

Suddenly, a stream of light shot into her body, making her shudder.

"The footless bird bids farewell to the maze of the ileum..."

She continued singing, her voice melodious, but began to see a completely different world.

Above the guests' heads were all musical notes.

Countless staves intertwined, making the notes leap.

Those lines seemed like the red threads of destiny, intertwining and influencing each other, forming a vast net.

"I see."

Fortuna looked up at the musical notes above her head, neither happy nor sad.

Because in just that moment, she saw her life.

The past, and a hundred years into the future.

At twenty, I will obtain a Divine Object.

I will start networking, begin fortune-telling, enter the top wealthy circles of this country.

At thirty, I will succeed and become the hidden king of this country.

At fifty, I will be struck by a terminal illness. To survive, I will furiously write music, seeking a way to save myself.

Can't ask the gods above, for fear of exposure, so I can only study the most primitive medical means to save myself.

At fifty-three, I will survive.

At seventy, with death approaching, as an untrainable mortal, I will begin seeking ways to survive.

At one hundred, while still cultivating on the small map of this country, I will, through influence of destiny, help Cain defeat the gods.

Moreover, a brand new civilization capable of cultivating the Sixth Tier will emerge.

By leveraging this wave, I will receive Cain's gift.

As a mortal weak to the point of dust, I will finally receive the legendary infant essence mythological potion, capable of rapidly advancing realms even for a cultivation failure.

At two hundred, I finally can cultivate, unstoppable, becoming Sixth Tier.

I will step into the starry sky, becoming the civilization of singers.

Fortuna smiled while singing, gazing gently at the guests below, with no joy or sorrow in her heart, for she saw the future.

"What is destiny?"

She whispered softly.

Destiny, in essence, is the convergence of countless beings' characteristics and behavior logics.

She has effectively simulated the entire future.

And the reason she can see two hundred years ahead now,

is because the Fertility Magic Net constructed by four types of transmission allows her to gather countless data, forming a future that can be projected so far.

"Even though I couldn't cultivate, did I interfere with the gods' war from a small country? Even helping Cain?"

"It's said that Divine Power can defy some realms."

"I didn't expect Fate's Divine Power to reach such an exaggerated speed."

Fortuna's thoughts were racing.

As for why she should help Cain and not the gods?

She doesn't know.

She's not omnipotent, only seeing some vague outlines, with many details unclear.

As to why Cain won and God did not appear?

She doesn't know either.

But she knows there must be a reason for not aiding the gods.

The gods may not be good people, enslaving the people of the earth?

She's heard a lot of conspiracy theories, legends of ancient humans with high morals, all extremely intelligent and powerful.

She decides not to think too much about it.

She sets down the accordion, bids farewell to the boss, ending her work here.

"The gods, chasing Divine Objects, will hide their identities to search here."

"They have great patience, searching one country after another, taking decades to inspect inch by inch."

"Today's era is different, almost every host of a Divine Object cannot escape the gods' pursuit!"

"However, only fate is elusive, and I am unique, they can't find me."

She was taking leave from her boss, just bowed her head to pick up a fallen hat, when a tall and strong man walked out, brushing past her.

"Light God?"

She knew the true identity of that man in her heart, turned around, boldly walked out of the shop, singing all the while.

She raised her umbrella, just avoiding the gaze of a lovely child in the distance.

"Cupid."

Her lips curled up, uttering the name as she stepped out onto the street.

She kept singing, brushing past a man nearby asking for directions.

"Alchemy God."

She continued forward, suddenly turned a corner, entered the next tavern she would work at, narrowly missing a girl asking for directions.

"Goddess of Fertility."

Fortuna continued singing, just about to pass by.

Unfortunately, though she was exerting power, no one could silence her.

Yet, the Fertility Goddess, a god of transmission with four major positions, wielding the Final Divine Power, suddenly sensed something borrowing her Magic Net.

But so many magicians were constantly borrowing the Magic Net.

"An illusion?"

The Goddess of Fertility slightly pondered, turned and left, her gaze lingering on Fortuna for just a moment,

"Just an ordinary person who can't cultivate, no Divine Object would choose such a person."

"No, it's not an illusion, it's fate that made us miss each other."

Fortuna's expression remained utterly calm, "It's fate that knows only by choosing those who can't cultivate can it evade you all."

"So, it chose me, who cannot cultivate."

Yes.

Fate is so wondrous.

This series is extremely special.

Even from the moment of introduction, fate was already determined.

Even the introduction of the Divine Object is foretelling...

Divination!

She walked into the tavern, continued to perform as a singer, and began singing.

At this moment, she already felt the wonder of fate, realizing she would be the next Goliath to overthrow the era.

In those days, Goliath destroyed the heavens and the earth, and now she would do the same, appearing as the adversary of the gods.

"I do not resist this fate, because there is simply no such thing as fate; it only appeared after I made my choice."

She reached out, strumming the accordion, actually strumming the staff lines of the guests, quietly altering their life symphonies.

"There is no destiny in this world; after I appeared, what I sang became fate."

"I am the singer of fate."

She sang, suddenly beginning to sing stories of God and the Demon King to the patrons in the tavern.

The God and Goliath of the past, now it's herself.

He is the Mysterious God.

I am the Goddess of Destiny.

She had already understood that there couldn't be two suns in the sky; an era could only have one king of the gods.

The lord that the Subordinate Gods follow could only be one.

The world is only so big, and there's only so much cake, they will inevitably have a battle in the future.

"Eras will change, and the future era belongs to destiny."

"Because I know better than anyone, in a hundred years, I will personally push forward the birth of a brand new Sixth Tier civilization."

She played the elegant accordion, as if performing the symphony of fate,

"I have seen the future, I have mastered the future."
