The editor said, it's going live this afternoon.
Going live again.
Hehe.
New readers might not know, but old readers should be familiar with my writing style.
Let me explain—
When starting a book, I'm all passionate, revising a chapter a dozen times.
Midway, my mindset starts to crumble, heart crumbles, plot crumbles, upgrade system crumbles, outline crumbles, detailed outline, everything crumbles...
Late stage? Is there even a late stage? They all end up being poorly wrapped up.
A bad ending is like a curse, no matter how you write, it always seems to end up like this.
Then I gnash my teeth, telling myself, the next one must not end poorly, no matter what!
Yet, I write one poorly, then start another poorly.
When writing "All Gates," I was determined, overcame all difficulties, refused to give up—and decisively gave it up.
If you cut it off, it can't end poorly, right?
Ahem,
Later, when writing "Sword Cage," though it would be shameless to say it was powered by love, I indeed wasn't too concerned about performance, just toughing it out and writing anyway.
Stumbling, breaking, entangled, from the mid stage, the worldview and upgrade system started the old trope of collapse, but the main plot somehow managed to push through.
I must say, the feeling of a completed normal finale, that's really satisfying!
As for this one, "Mechanical Hunter," apart from wanting to finish the main plot like the last one, I set two small goals for myself.
First, is to make the civilization system as interesting as possible. After all, the universe is so vast, there's plenty of space for me to babble on.
Second, is to complete the upgrade system. This is easy to calculate, every civilization has a full level of 30, the current civilization cap is Level 9 Civilization, which means, if everything goes smoothly, it should go to the protagonist reaching level 270, tackling three major Celestial Calamities, book ends.
Of course, with such a big picture, whether I can achieve it is uncertain.
After all, almost two months have passed, and the protagonist so far… is level 10.
Of course, he'll transition soon, even if it took two months to reach level 10, then level 270 would be… many more months.
So those who can, please show some support. After all this time, just being powered by love is indeed a bit tough to handle, the author might write and cough up blood.
Of course, this is just for those who like this book. For those who don't, there's no need to watch me wallow, we can totally meet again in the next book.
Just hope that when we meet again in the next book, I can smugly say I've achieved two small goals again, rather than kneeling down crying, I'm abandoned, I end poorly, but I'm a good writer, please support me.
Ahem, a bit embarrassing.
Though I think there's still a possibility of that, ahem...
In pursuing these two small goals, surely other issues will arise, I welcome everyone's opinions, I'm inclined to accept them all.
Everyone is a gold master dad, don't be shy, if you don't tell me, how will I know what posture you want, right?
My morals are high, any posture is fine.
Also
Five updates today
After going live, there will be at least two chapters, with additional chapters periodically, as long as the upgrade system doesn't collapse and detailed outline pushes smoothly, I'll update as much as possible.
If I'm in a bad state or the plot isn't going well, or I need to read and find materials, or purely resting, there'll only be two chapters.
After all, with such a big picture, I must blow it up to be somewhat decent, if aliens just change their skin and add some data, then it's not interesting.
Oh, when players appear, I'll open a thread, interested students can come and play a role.
I won't have to rack my brain for usernames anymore.
Though a friendly reminder, the moral of the players in this book is not high, often not acting like humans, some are not even human at all... ahem, everyone should consider carefully.
Lastly, I still haven't given up on changing the book title—
What do you think of the title "Cosmic Utopia"?
