Lord Of Leveling Up: Transmigrated Into A Game

Chapter 38: Creator Technique!

Maxwell was super unhappy having fallen into Sebastian's scheme. The first thing is being unable to complete his quest, making Maxwell super unhappy.

But, Humans were alive while the System was not. The system only wanted some type of acknowledgement.

That's why Maxwell deliberately formed his question that way, trying to make Sebastian give some type of acknowledgement. Once he acknowledges it, the System will, by default, take that as the quest being completed.

"Crackle!"

"Congratulations to Player Maxwell Gillette for completing the bronze-ranked quest."

"Reward: 20,000 quest XP, 1000 mana."

"Extra Reward: Random supportive martial technique."

His XP bar surged ahead by 20,000 points and his mana value increased by 1000 points.

"Crackle!"

"Would you like to start the random draw?"

Maxwell didn't even contemplate it and made a thought: "Start!"

A big roulette wheel appeared in his mind that was filled with different martial techniques engraved around it. There were crafting pills, crafting weapons and armour, inscriptions, and several other supportive martial techniques. Maxwell looked at the crafting pill techniques and started praying.

He wouldn't need to worry about his mana being exhausted when he's able to craft pills.

Even if he encounters someone he can't kill, he could at least tire the person to death.

"Crafting pill technique, it has to be the crafting pill technique!" Maxwell was praying with all his might.

The roulette wheel started spinning and a few seconds later, it stopped and pointed at a martial technique.

"Crackle!"

"Congratulations to Player Maxwell for gaining the Creator Technique!"

As the voice faded, an ancient-looking book floated in his mind with the words Creator Technique on its cover.

Maxwell was at a complete loss as strength drained from him. He then mumbled: "To finish the quest, I almost died in Eden, and I almost died trying to complete the quest, yet you give me a Creator Technique? Do you want me to die that much? What I wanted was the crafting pill technique."

Ten million times, screw you, damn System.

Gwendolyn saw that Maxwell was unhappy so she quickly asked in concern: "Maxwell, are you okay?"

Such intimacy; this girl's gentle eyes made Maxwell's heart skip a beat. Maxwell then shook his head with a bitter smile: "I'm fine."

Gwendolyn made a light "Ooh!" Before continuing: "Maxwell, are you worried about fighting the above silver rank spawned beast in half a month? If you're worried, I could..."

"I'm not worried." Maxwell interrupted without allowing Gwendolyn to finish speaking.

The feeling Gwendolyn gave him was not normal. Her temperament, the way she speaks, and her calmness made her completely different from other normal girls. The sword technique she cultivated was very powerful and when adding all of these together, Maxwell came to the conclusion that she was definitely not a simple girl.

She must have an extremely strong background!

As to how strong her background was? Maxwell had no way to even guess. The memories from his childhood were too fuzzy so he couldn't remember why she came to the Gillette Household and definitely couldn't remember how strong her background was.

Perhaps a single sentence from Gwendolyn would make Sebastian take back the words he had said in the academy training grounds.

But Maxwell didn't wish for her to do that.

He was a man. He couldn't allow a girl to stand up for him, especially when it came to a girl he liked! Every action had a price, so no matter what, Maxwell didn't want Gwendolyn to beg someone!

That's why Maxwell made a clear-cut refusal. Gwendolyn's eyebrows made a slight frown and her hesitation made her look extremely cute.

Maxwell's index finger gently patted her nose as he softly said: "Silly girl, there's no need to worry because nothing will happen to me."

Constantine had a foolish grin on his face, "Lady Gwendolyn, don't worry, because I will use my life to protect the boss."

Looking at his foolish grin, he looked exactly like a complete idiot. But his words were very serious; serious enough that he would trade his life for Maxwell's without a thought.

What is considered brotherhood? This is!

Maxwell felt quite emotional knowing he had a girl and a brother like this. With a relaxed smile, "You two are worrying too much, you forget who I am. A single Sebastian is not fit to mess with me!"

The three of them smiled at each other.

Immediately after, Maxwell opened up the System's skills area to check out the Creator Technique properties.

Martial Technique: Creator Technique

Type: Type 3

Proficiency: 0/1000

Mana Consumption: 100

Skill Description: The cultivator may create 3 creation puppet soldiers. Level 1 Creator Technique can summon creation puppet soldiers equivalent to the below bronze rank spawned beasts. Level 2 will be the equivalent strength of an above bronze rank spawned beast, level 3 will be the equivalent... at the last great perfection stage, the cultivator is capable of summoning 5 creation war pets and each one of them will have the strength of a god rank spawned beast.

Addition: A level 1 puppet soldier will have a health bar of 1000 points, level 2 will have 2000 points... As long as they have a single point of health left, they can continue fighting without a time limit.

"Oh woaa! This is interesting." Maxwell's eyes briefly flashed as he said to himself: "The Creator Technique doesn't seem too bad. If I were to level up the technique a bit and then create some creation puppet soldiers, I could place them in the outer periphery of Eden and just gain free XP, right?"

Thinking about this, there was a brief glimpse of excitement in Maxwell's eyes.

With these creation puppet soldiers killing monsters for him, he'd be able to lie on a bed with his girl and still manage to level up.

This will be way too cool!

Apart from this, he could use the creation of puppet soldiers for scouting or going to places normal people couldn't get to. There were just too many uses for them!

There was about half a month to go before he would be fighting an above silver rank spawned beast, and wanting to power level himself to about the same rank would be very difficult by himself. The difficulty was increased when one had to level within the dangerous Eden. But now it was different when he could create some puppet soldiers.

"Hahaha..." Maxwell laughed like mad, "This supportive technique is simply too awesome."

Constantine scratched his head and asked: "Sir Maxwell, what are you so happy about?"

"Something good."

"Something real good, hahaha..." He enthusiastically replied.

Maxwell was originally at a dead end where he couldn't find a method to deal with the above silver rank spawned beast. But it didn't bother him anymore as he coldly said to himself: "Sebastian, you want me to die? You just wait for me and I will give you a good show."

Soon after, he waved his arm and said: "Let's go, we're going to celebrate at the best restaurant Eden City has to offer."

"Cook's Kitchen!"

Constantine's drool dripped down as he scuttled behind Maxwell with a foolish smile on his face. Just thinking about the signature dishes at Cooks Kitchen made him unconsciously grin like an idiot.

---

Cook's Kitchen, inside a luxurious private room.

Vincent revealed a sneer on his face while Lena was in his embrace. He downed a cup of wine before proudly saying: "Gregory will definitely get first place in the entrance competition, while Maxwell, that piece of trash, will die in Eden. Hahaha..."

He had been enjoying himself the entire evening at Cook's Kitchen and didn't know what went on within the Gillette Household.

Several other people were sitting around the dinner table who were members of the Castro Household. They all had a look of respect on their faces.

Lena giggled in Maxwell's embrace and said: "Vincent, is that piece of trash really going to die? I don't want to ever see him again because I truly do despise him. Gregory will become a senior member after getting first place so when will you become a senior member?"

"My father mentioned that my eldest uncle will not let him go so don't worry, my little beauty. Hahaha..." Vincent pinched at Lena's cheek. Upon peering down her collar, he swallowed down some saliva as he noticed her two white, half-covered peaks with light veins. If it weren't for the others around the table, he would have already pushed her beneath him.

After swallowing another round of drool, Vincent looked around before saying in a soft and mysterious voice: "I don't need to participate in the entrance competition and can still become a senior member. It's something my eldest uncle promised my father."

Around this time, Maxwell, Constantine and Gwendolyn happened to walk by the private room.

"Constantine, where did you get that tub of shit from? It was all runny and stunk to no end, simply too brilliant!" Maxwell laughed out loud as he couldn't hold it anymore.

"Animals, who is outside talking about shit? Don't you know I'm here eating?" Vincent roared out.

A few of his lackeys immediately rushed forth to open the private room's door.

Vincent had an overbearing attitude as he softly said: "Leave the girl behind and give each of those two guys three slaps before kicking them out of here. Let's see if there's any other person who dares to talk about shit in front of me ever again."

Maxwell turned around and looked inside the private room before his lips curled into a smile, "Oh oh, it's someone we know!"
