His gaze was still fixated on the screen, looking at Daniel through it.

The announcer's voice came roaring through the speakers. "Let's begin the match."

Sia and Daniel stood still for a second, staring at each other straight into their eyes.

Both of them had their weapons in their hands. Sia's grip slightly tightened on her sword, and Daniel's axe rested on the floor.

Their eyes were locked onto each other, and no one seemed to look away first. Silence fell into the arena; the only noise in there was the sound of creaking from the speakers.

Sia finally broke the silence; her voice came steady, but the tone was slightly impressed. "You're also trying to notice the flaws in me, huh?"

Daniel didn't reply to him; he just kept looking at her.

She shook her head slightly. "There are no flaws in you. You're the second person today who piqued my interest."

Daniel still didn't reply to her, but his lips parted slightly as he lifted his axe from the ground and rested the handle on his right shoulder.

But then, he finally spoke up. "Who was the first one?" His voice was steady, and the tone seemed to be formal.

Her eyes shifted slightly towards the room where the other hunters were, gaze fell onto Silas as she gave a small smirk to him.

Then, her gaze fell back onto Daniel as she said. "Silas Veil."

Daniel didn't show any reaction to Silas's name as if he had predicted it before.

The voice of the announcer came through the speakers once again. "We don't have the whole day for this; both of you begin the match now."

The wind inside the arena shifted slightly as both hunters rushed forward towards each other.

Daniel's axe was in the air, and her sword was next to her waist, ready to strike any second.

They both swung their weapons at the same time, and bright sparks started to erupt when their blades collided.

Daniel's eyes were blank, his face was still unreadable, and Sia's face had a menacing smirk on it as if she was enjoying the fight.

Both of them started swinging their weapons, matching the speed of each other.

No one seemed to take the upper hand over the opponent yet. But then Sia tilted her body and threw a kick towards his ribs, but Daniel blocked it with his elbow it absorbing the impact of her kick completely.

Silas's eyes were fixated on their fight. 'They both are moving at a fast pace, and their movements are also matching with each other; their hunter ranks are different, but I think the abilities are on par.'

Sia used her skill [Shiverstep Combo]. Her mana started to channel inside her blade, and slowly it turned completely dark blue, which represented the ice.

A big smirk curled up on her lips as her voice came out loud. "Defend this now, Daniel." A big compressed crescent of freezing energy left through her blade, which was directed towards Daniel.

Daniel didn't flinch, but he tilted his axe as he rotated his wrist and grabbed the axe's handle from the top and stomped it into the ground.

His body started to get surrounded by swirling sparks and heat, and the air around him started to take on a new colour, which was red.

When Sia's strike landed on Daniel, the heat around him stopped it, and a huge blast occurred when the heat and ice collided with each other.

Both of them jumped backwards in unison, but then ran towards each other instantly and started to share the blows once again.

Silas's eyes widened slightly as his lips curled into a shocked smile. 'It's the first match that I find interesting...'

Sia's smirk widened as she said out loud. "Let's end it now, Daniel."

He didn't reply to her and just stopped moving and lifted his axe in the air, and changed his grip on the axe as he grabbed it from the middle.

Sia muttered under her breath. "Arctic Blossom – Thousand Petal Execution."

Her mana started to surround him; it was a beautiful ice mana, and then it took the shape of ice petals.

The ice petals then started to surround Si; it felt like each of them was a slash that was made out of her ice mana.

Petals slowly shot forward towards Daniel, and when all of them shot forward, a new one appeared next to her.

When the petals were about to hit Daniel, bu, the heat surrounded him, and he leaned in slightly as he curled his legs and shot up forward into the air.

He lifted his axe in the air, and his axe got wrapped in spiralling flames. He then came crashing down like a meteor, generating a fiery shockwave around Sia and burned all of her ice petals down.

The smirk on Sia's face widened even more as she shouted. "That's how I wanted it to be from the start, Daniel." Sia was completely enjoying the fight against Daniel.

She poured all of her mana and generated tons of ice petals, and her sword also turned into a freezing blade.

Daniel didn't flinch; his face was still unreadable as before. He also lifted his axe in the air as the flames, which were wrapping around it ,increased even more.

Both of them clashed, the ice collided with the fire, and a huge blast happened inside the arena.

The whole arena got filled with smoke.

A loud thud came from inside the arena, as if both hunters clashed once again.

But then, silence fell onto the room once again. The only noise in the air was from the small chirps of the blast.

The black fog was still covering the area, and the outcome of the result was difficult to conclude.
