Dungeon of Lust: Managing Otherworldly Beauties

Chapter 49: It's Pink

[A challenger has entered the dungeon.]

'Huh?'

Vale jumped to the side while directing the course of Stacy's blow to barely miss his torso.

"Stop."

Wasting no time, Vale rushed around the bend and to the hallway leading to the exit. Ximena and Stacy followed him with curiosity, but the moment they all rounded the walls, they paused and prepared for a potential battle.

In front of Vale, at the base of the ramp leading outside, a bloodied man lay face down on the floor, a small pool of blood forming under him.

'This…'

Vale continued his sprint until he was standing over the half-dead man, and looked up to see Salome looking back at him.

'Is she the cause of this?'

Vale didn't entirely know what to feel at the sight of this dying human.

Vale was human, or at least once was. But once again, he felt not even a shred of sympathy for him. Instead, Vale's focus was more on the state. Not just his bloodied, injured state. But his fettered state.

An iron link chain was clamped around his ankles and hands.

While Salome could have easily been responsible for the blood, she was by no means accountable for his bondage.

Vale put a safe distance between himself and the man, then looked up to question Salome, but before even getting a word out, the winged demoness spoke:

"He was like that before I saw him… as for how he got here. I can provide a slight answer for that. But, hopefully, he can provide the rest himself."

Salome reached the man and knelt, resting her hand on his shoulder. Then, the man didn't seem to heal to a healthy state exactly, but his bleeding was stemmed and his thin breaths grew a little more purposeful.

Salome stood up and said:

"So… they speak a different language here…"

Vale's gaze narrowed.

"What? How do you–"

But before he could finish his question, Salome was upon him, sinking her warm lips into Vale's.

Ximena, who'd been silently watching the sight, screamed out.

"Seriously!"

Ximena's demeanor was still frozen, but her ruby eyes shone with fury. Yet, it was a fury she was forced to suppress for the sake of Master Vale.

On the other hand, the Warrior was staring intently at the two interlocked. Specifically, she was looking at Salome.

"Mother?"

***

"Huh…"

The man groggily opened his eyes.

'It's so dark… Am I dead?'

He tried to move his hands, but they were locked in place. In fact, it wasn't just his hands. He couldn't move anything!

But there was something he could see at least…

In the ever-expanding dark, he could see radiant glows that looked like eyes—four pink, two green. There was also something reflecting that glow, but he couldn't make sense of what it was. But it was red…

Then, a sudden magenta hue shone and created a backdrop of two wings. The glow also let him see a little more. He could now see he was in a cave and…

'A woman?'

***

'Wow, I can't believe that worked'

While neither Vale nor the others were seriously afraid of this man, they didn't want to create a standard of underestimation. So, they took the proper steps to… Okay, to be honest, Vale just wanted to test the limits and bounds of his and the system's capabilities.

While the man had been passed out, they had dragged him into the large room. The next thing Vale did was set a small blueprint. Then, just like he'd done with the streamers, he put the man inside the blueprint. The Workers quickly went and piled the stone into it. And promptly the man became fully encased in stone save for his head, with a little room left around his chest so he could breathe.

Vale was almost sure the blueprint function would be locked when challengers were in the dungeon, but the fact that it wasn't opened some frightening possibilities. Though fretting on that topic wasn't his primary concern at the moment.

In any case, this man's appearance was the windfall he needed.

This man was a supposed native of this world and could answer all of Vale's longing questions.

After patiently waiting, the man opened his eyes and tried to look around, but his neck was locked in place. He also began squinting like he couldn't see. But still, it looked like he was following Vale and Salome with his eyes. Well…

'I guess he can't see.. We are in a cave.'

'But, can he see our eyes?'

Vale didn't want to make assumptions, but because of his own ability and his underlings' ability to see in the dungeon, he'd naturally assumed everyone could. Now he felt a little stupid for his misconception….

'Wait… you have got to be shitting me!'

The realization hit Vale like a bag of bricks.

He was even weaker than he realized…

'Those frogs…'

The only thing they were able to see was his eyes! No wonder they crashed into each other so easily.

While Vale knew frogs tended to sense vibrations and see better in the dark than humans, it was still disheartening to realize how much he struggled against impaired opponents.

Dickless, small tits, and big tits were a little more formidable a foe than he realized. But also… if they were that strong. What the hell was waiting for him in Level 2… And just how much was Salome holding back when she fought him?

'Tch.'

The trapped man snapped out of his stupor and screamed:

"Devil… W-who are you, devil!"

Salome gave a seductive smile and leaned down, bringing her face closer to the man's.

"I don't think you're in the position to ask questions…"

"W-wait."

As Salome got closer, the man's face fell further from confusion and more toward utter disbelief and despair.

"Lust… It can't be… Your eyes! Eyes of the Vice… Pink… This is the Dungeon of Lust! Kill me! I beg of you! Let me die! Kill me!"

"You know us? Good. That means you have a lot to tell."

"I'll tell you anything! Just promise to kill me!"

Salome gave a sadistic smile and questioned the man:

"Not going to beg for your life? But instead, beg for death?"

The man let out a wail.

"Rather die as myself than live as a tool!"

'Hmm. How principled. How did someone like that end up in this state?'
