After encountering that severed, small tribe of hunters, and making a deal with them, Jimmy and Anna were given very valuable information, as to where to look for, and likely find some Quetzalcoatlus Northropis.
Judging from how this species behaved, they made it clear that they didn't want to be found. This was a surprisingly intelligent move from a species that was not at all known for their intelligence, it was impressive, but that didn't matter right now.
Jimmy and Anna knew where to look for them now. They flew up the forest on Bonita's back, and tried their best to look down, hoping to find nests within the thick forest.
It was easy to travel to the top, it only took a few minutes, and after that point, or after thirty minutes into their search, they saw a nest of sorts. The nest was big, it seemed horribly built, with thick branches poking out at random directions, but it was a nest nonetheless.
Once they flew closer, they saw the large beak of a Quetzalcoatlus Northropi rising up. She had been camouflaged in the nest surprisingly well.
Anna didn't want to spook this big girl to the point where she trampled her own eggs, so she had Bonita fly away, and then they landed one-hundred meters, or over three hundred feet away from the nest.
After that point, they pursued on foot. It was best to use the thick forest as a sort of camouflage, to prevent being attacked by a creature that looked as old, and as big as time.
Jimmy's 'radar' reached wider ranges now, so he didn't have to get too close, but despite that fact, he still had to be cautious. No distance would be great enough to escape a pissed off QT.
"What do we do with her eggs?" He asked, as they approached the nest.
"We hope that there are only a few of them," She said, "QTs have large beaks for a reason. Their eggs are soft, sure, but if we can position the eggs in the inside of her beak, just right, just accurately enough, then we can have her transport her eggs somewhere close to our home."
"Sounds smart," He added, "We'll have Gutty protect the eggs until she builds a new nest."
The both of them were too soft to tear a mother away from her eggs, so they were working their way to avoid that. Besides, even though they needed several QTs right now, it would be great to have a bunch of newborn QTs in the future, so that they could raise them into great monsters that'll work for the tribe. Preserving the eggs was a good plan overall.
Once they got close to the nest, Jimmy heard one large heartbeat, and then three little heartbeats, likely coming from the eggs. This was how he knew that there were at least three eggs in its nest.
The QT hadn't seen them, as even Bonita had been careful enough to make small, light steps. She understood that they were sneaking around, and like the character she was, she participated, keeping her wings up as if she was raising her dress.
Using their advantage, Jimmy tapped into the QT's heartbeat, and then got up to its tomato-sized, and rather unused brain. This species was known to be vastly less intelligent than other species of dinosaurs.
This was what made taming them a lot easier. He started throwing her brain fat around as if it was play dough, and within seconds, he raised her intelligence up to the point where it was a bit greater than the average caveman's, or, he made her just as smart as Bonita. He could make her even smarter, but there was no point in having genius-level flying lizards around.
The process was a bit costly, after all. He lost ten-percent of his mana, and paired with the three people he killed earlier on, his total mana was down by thirty percent. He had to be careful with his mana, or this day would end up being vastly unproductive.
Jimmy tamed the QT, and threw a picture of Gnegor, his father, in her head, so she'd know who her new master was. He wanted to be efficient, and kill two birds with one stone.
"Alright, she's ready," He said, and then started walking towards the nest. "I bashed plenty of faces in her head to memorize, so she shouldn't hurt anyone from our tribe."
It went without saying that she wouldn't hurt her tamer either, or Anna, but he had forgotten about Bonita, the large QT that had been following them all this time.
The newly tamed QT started cawing aggressively at Bonita, as she was protective of her eggs, but thankfully, Anna stood between them, and started throwing random hand gestures around, until the both of them calmed down.
"Forgot to teach her that she'll be flying with other QT's, huh?" She asked.
"Rookie's mistake," He joked, partially embarrassed, "Thank God we have you here, I could've been smacked to death."
"I'm not having sex in a nest, Jimmy," She joked, "Don't sweet talk me now."
Jimmy completely misunderstood her joke, and saw it as a hint, so he said, "I mean… the nest does look comfortable, we worked all day, so we can bang one out real quick."
Anna got shy right at that instant. She tried to play the act of a confident woman, simply because she didn't want to feel vulnerable around him at all times, but in this case, she couldn't help herself. She was aroused too, as he had been touching her up for hours ever since they left home.
Her voice got suddenly mousy, and she said, "How would that work? Do we sit in the nest, or…?"
Jimmy saw how nervous she got, so he didn't say another word. He simply grabbed her, lifted her, and then walked into the nest with Anna in her arms.
The nest was full of itchy branches, and some full-sized small trees, so it was difficult to find a comfortable spot. Difficult, but not impossible, as where there was a will, there was a way.
Jimmy found a lining of thick leaves, held up by branches, a few feet above the ground, really. He placed her there, laid her on her back, and made sure that she was comfortable. Then he leaned over, placed his hands on the leaves, above her hips, and looked her in the eye.
"You know, I almost had a heart attack yesterday, when I saw you passed out, in front of that blood bath. It made me realize how much I love you, but I hope that I never get to be reminded in that way, ever again. It would hurt too much." He expressed, and after that short speech, he ran his fingers across her waist, and asked, "Should I go easy on you, princess? Are you still tender from last night?"
"Princess…" She mumbled, and tried not to avoid eye contact, "Go easy on me, p-pretty boy. I'm still recovering from the little love speech you gave me just now, not to mention from last night's fun."
