Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 150: Medical Inconvenience Room

The next morning, Jimmy and Anna woke up, kissed each other to start off their morning well, and then they went ahead to handle their separate tasks. Well, Anna had actual work to do today, as for Jimmy, he was just going to play around with the cool stuff he may, or may not find in the bunker.

The greatest 'task' for him was all the walking he was supposed to do today. For example, just after he woke up and kissed his girlfriend, he was greeted by a flight of stairs that stretched a whole thousand feet downwards, or over three hundred meters.

Facing such a challenge right after the crack of dawn, while drowsy and a bit dehydrated, was no easy task. He was almost convinced to give up halfway there, but then he imagined having to walk the equal distance upstairs if he turned around, so he gave up on giving up.

"Hmm…" He stroked his chin, "What if I jump…? I'll either break my neck, or get down there quicker?"

After some more contemplation, he decided, "Eh, worth the risk."

Jimmy then started jumping several stairs at a time. The stairs were short, so it was hardly a problem to jump over a few of them. He was more concerned about landing safely.

Thankfully, he quickly confirmed that the boots he was wearing practically forced him to land safely. Regardless if they were designed to work with, or against gravity, the boots over-performed, and jerked his ankles around just so he could land safely.

It was almost like the boots were sentient, but odds were that they were paired with some sort of limited, artificial intelligence chips. If that was the case, he couldn't nearly imagine what kept such chips functional, or, charged, but he wasn't about to tear them apart to find out. The boots worked well, and that was all that mattered.

Leaping down like a suicidal rabbit, he made it to the bottom of the stairs in ten minutes, as opposed to the twenty-five minutes it would take to climb down normally. He saved time, and the adrenaline he got throughout the short trip woke him up better than coffee ever would. He missed coffee sometimes, and wondered if it started existing yet.

"God damn!" He exclaimed, "That was fun. Too bad I can't jump my way up later on. It would be harder than walking up."

Anyway, after he got down there, he started exploring the large corridor. He wanted to see what he skipped through yesterday. The tunnel that led to the containment units had taken most of his attention yesterday, the absurd paranoia he had, also played a great part in limiting his attention, but today he wanted to focus, and make a solid evaluation of just how much the entirety of this bunker was worth. He was hoping to find something, anything that trumped the virtually overpowered containment units.

Jimmy quickly discovered that there were several small rooms, spread across the east side of the corridor. He didn't understand how he missed them yesterday, the windows of these rooms were even see-through, they were glass, so walking past them obliviously was comical.

"I must have had my head up my ass yesterday," He sighed, "What is this? A Jurassic Office Building?

The small rooms did indeed look like offices. The steel-coated interior of the bunker aided that fact. The east side of the corridor looked like an awful mix of a hospital, and an office. The design was poor in aesthetic matters, but the bunker might have been designed to be efficient, rather than pretty.

Jimmy went into one of the rooms, and found medical equipment. The equipment was simple, they weren't advanced enough to beat a professional diagnostic hospital, but he did find a bunch of wrap bandages, rubber tourniquets, syringes, stethoscopes, and heavier tools too, such as electric bone saws, and a defibrillator for cardiac arrests. There were small stainless steel tools too, such as scalpels, scissors, speculas, some dental tools, etc.

"Jesus," He winced, "They've built an entire bunker but didn't opt out to build a dependable medical room? This shit's so basic, anyone can cut a leg off."

The statements he made were ignorant. He didn't know how to use any of the tools here in an emergency, so it wasn't up to him to give this medical room a final grade, but the tools did seem basic, or general. There were only a couple of tools for emergencies, but other than that, depending on this room for medical emergencies would be equal to signing a death certificate.

"Thank god I can heal myself," He said, "I wouldn't want to have a broken leg out here. Even if there were doctors around, they'd be pretty useless."

Jimmy also found a cabinet full of medicine. He could not make out a single sentence out of the labels, as they were likely written in an alien language, on account to the fact that Mika mentioned 'green people' yesterday, but he wasn't planning on using any bit of this medicine either way, so he didn't pay much attention to them. They looked old, and expired anyway.

There could be antibiotics in this cabinet. If there were any wide-range antibiotics, the life expectancy of the tribesfolk above him would increase greatly, but then again, he would never know if anything in this medicine cabinet was an antibiotic. It wasn't like he had anyone to translate.

"What the fuck happened to that little blue fella that Eni caught? She didn't let him go, did she?" He slightly panicked, but this gave him an idea, "Maybe he can read these labels? It would help me out if he could, assuming I can fucking understand what goes on in his brain. I don't speak his language."

Parts of Jimmy's answers were thrown at his face as soon as he left the medical room. He saw the little alien running around the corridor, trying to hide from Jimmy.

"Jesus," He sighed, "He must've slipped out of Eni's tits somehow. How did we all forget about a damn alien that she kept between her tits?"

There was no easy way to answer this question, but then he remembered Mika nearly crushing the life out of Eni with a hug yesterday. He pictured the little humanoid alien slipping out at that exact moment, and it had been so sneaky that it somehow escaped the sight of several people, including Anna's. He found this impressive, so he was prompted to cooperate with it.

With little effort, he caught up with the foot-tall alien, lifted it up, and held it gently. The little fella was freaking out, so he wanted to show it that he meant no harm.

To be more efficient, he planted a thought in its head, which roughly was, "I won't hurt you, little guy. Can we make a deal?"

This was a risky decision, he could've fried his own brain just to read that of an alien's, but thankfully nothing bad happened. He didn't even use two-percent of his mana, on account to how small the alien's brain was.

Jimmy didn't know if the thought he planted translated well in its brain, but once the alien calmed down, nodded, and started smiling, he confirmed that the thought he planted was effective!

"Hell yeah," He whispered, as not to spook it, "Now we're cooking!"
