Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 62: Red Heads?

Anna prompted Jimmy to climb on top of her new pet's back. They climbed up on the QT's back together, and took off.

The targeted carnivores were fifty meters away, or over one-hundred and sixty feet away. As soon as the QT became airborne, the predators bolted off, because even they knew not to mess with primal hunters that were a lot larger than them.

Anna had expected this, so she was ready, and guided her pet to follow them. Her pet struggled to carry two people, but it still managed to fly at an idle pace of thirty mp/h, or forty-eight km/h, which was just enough to catch up with the seven Dilophosaurus Wetherilli that were bolting across the grasslands. After that point she slowed down a bit.

"Alright, are you ready?" Anna shouted out, as the momentum muffled her voice.

"What? Do I jump?" He shouted back.

"No, you idiot!" She exclaimed. "I can get you closer, and you can tame them from up here! You can do that, right?"

"Yeah!" He answered.

Afterwards, he tried to focus on one of the small predators that were running in front of him. It was difficult, considering that he had to try hard to not fall off of the QT, but Anna made his job easier, and had her pet fly lower.

They were now ten meters, or thirty-two feet above the ground, and this was when Jimmy started feeling confident. Between every other wing flap, he could see his targets clear as day, and to make things even easier, he started targeting them one at a time.

The pack of seven Dilophosaurus Wetherilli were terrified, so it didn't take him long to single out their heartbeats. Their hearts were close to popping out of their chests!

Jimmy grabbed a hold of his target's heart, in a sense, and then jumped to its brain. He needed a moment to analyze how smart these creatures were, and how much work each and every one of them needed.

After a moment, he was surprised when he realized that these Dilophosaurus Wetherilli were not stupid. They were predators, and scavengers, so of course they had to have some analytical thinking skills in order to survive, but their intelligence was still stunning. They were a bit dumber than a house cat, which in the Jurassic Era was pretty impressive!

"Thank god," He mumbled.

Afterwards, he violently thrusted his right arm forward, as he needed the other one to hold onto Anna.

A mist of white dust stormed towards his target at great speeds, and in an instant, the target fell down, tumbling across the grass.

Seconds later, he targeted another member of the pack, and forced it into a tumble as well. Then he immobilized the third one.

Jimmy needed four of these speedy dinosaurs if he was going to equip his tribesfolk with them, but he could not hit the fourth one. The pack suddenly dashed right, and the QT glided over them, and needed quite a bit of time to take a right turn on account of its size.

"Fuck!" Anna exclaimed.

"Leave them!" Jimmy demanded. "We gotta turn back, so I can finish the job! Those three dinos I knocked over will start running again soon!"

Since he has had some time to study nervous systems recently, he knew how to paralyze dinosaurs. However, the paralyzation required a lot of mana, and only lasted for five minutes, so he didn't plan to use this trick much, unless he had to.

Anyway, the QT had to turn back, and a minute later, they got back to the first dinosaur that he knocked out of the pack. He had little time to work his magic on all three of them, especially since they were tens of feet apart from one another, so he didn't even bother to climb off of the QT, and shot his mystical clouds of magic from up there, on its back.

Since his abilities had progressed earlier on, he managed to tame the first dinosaur in half a minute. He was nowhere close to pushing his powers to the limit either, so he didn't snap into a trance as he worked his magic, he just pummeled the dinosaur with a bunch of black and white clouds, altering its brain, and brain chemistry forever.

It also helped that these dinosaurs were smart. Their brains were very cooperative towards change.

By minute three, he had managed to tame all three of the downed Dilophosaurus Wetherillis. Cooperative to the changes, the newly tamed dinosaurs started running towards their new masters after their paralyzation wore off.

Jimmy had painted a nice picture in their brains regarding who they were supposed to serve and protect, and now, they knew where to look in order to find their masters. It was almost like they recognized the scent of their owners, before even smelling them!

To keep the new tamed dinosaurs from getting slaughtered off by Gutaxun, he and Anna reconnected with their group before the three Dilophosaurus Wetherilli got too close. Jimmy asked everyone to be ready, and not attack the dinosaurs who approached them. Three of these ladies were going to meet their new pets soon.

"Only three? But there's four of us." Cika pointed out.

"I only managed to catch three of them," He said. "You ladies will be on the move soon, but Nechi will stay with me for now, and I'm gonna find her another speedster eventually."

"You mean a red head?" Cika corrected. "The dinosaurs you just chased are called Red Heads."

Jimmy almost burst out laughing. This was the funniest dinosaur name he has heard so far, and when he made eye contact with Anna, he almost lost it, but he managed to excuse himself with a light chuckle.

A moment later, the three Dilophosaurus Wetherillis popped up, now best described as Red Heads, and approached their new owners cautiously. Each of them knew who to go to, as if they've known their owners for decades.

Cika, Rulya, and Icha were singled out. Their new pets even started chirping in joy when they saw their owners, but they were too scared to approach any further, because Gutaxun was growling at them.

"Easy, boy." Jimmy said, and flapped his hand up and down, as he tried to prevent Gutaxun from chasing the Red Heads. "They're friends. Don't hurt them."

Gutaxun did not understand a thing Jimmy said, and so he wanted to attack, but when he saw the ladies walking forward, and saw how the Red Heads dropped down when the ladies approached them, he understood what was going on. It was like looking into a tiny mirror, as they were behaving exactly like him. He finally calmed down.

"Please don't bite my arm off," Cika whispered, her hand shaking as she tried to pet her new dinosaur's snout. "Oh… that's nice. You're a sweetheart!"

Afterwards, she climbed on top of her new pet's back, and it felt like the most natural thing in the world! The Dilophosaurus Wetherilli was a lot bigger than her, it was even taller than her by two feet, but she still managed to find great comfort on its back. It was like sitting on a hard pillow, if a pillow had tense muscles, that is.

Afterwards, she spoke up as softly as she could, "Hey! How do I make it run?!"
