Chaos Point System: I Summon the Supreme Sword Demon

Chapter 29: Prove it. Kiss me

''Hello… my name is Alaric.'' Alaric waved his hand to greet the scar-faced girl, yet she just nodded coldly before answering.

''Dana.''

Alaric sheathed his wooden sword and asked, ''What kinda weapon are you gonna use?''

Dana blinked for a moment, glanced at the weaponshelf, and randomly picked one.

A wooden sword—just like Alaric's.

Without hesitation, she disappeared from her spot and lunged toward him. Alaric was astonished by her sudden move.

The first clash began.

Surely, she completely overwhelmed him. After realizing how weak Alaric was, she started to intentionally decrease the intensity of her strikes.

A hint of disappointment showed on her face as she said, ''You can't beat Phyllis with such low power.''

Alaric managed to block and deflect her blows, minimizing damge from her successful hits.

Well—a one-sided fight.

With a swift lightning-like kick downward that forced Alaric to step back, Dana leaped into the air and landed gracefully.

Alaric felt a wave of pain run through his fingers as he held his sword firmly. As expected, he couldn't even scratch her.

''I know that...I can't beat that muscular bitch, so I need your help… I need to know her weakness.''

''M-Muscular bitch?'' For a moment, Dana was confused, then she lifted the corner of her lips weakly, clearly surprised by the name. That bright smile could kill any young boy.

Uhm, apparently, only Alaric was the one who noticed such a thing from her. The professor, who had been watching the fight, on the other hand, managed to suppress his nausea, as if what he'd just seen was the most disgusting smile of his life.

Dana herself felt the same way when she heard her own smile. Unpleasantly, she turned away, then returned cold face, keeping silent for a moment before asking,

''Tell me… why must I say it to you?''

Alaric shook off his freeze after seeing Dana's deadly beauty face. He thought for a while and said,

''You hate her, right? So, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.''

Dana frowned for a moment, then nodded, thinking about the name Alaric had just used for her sibling. It was as if she had wanted to say it from deep in her heart for a long time.

''Obviously… I hate that muscular bitch. Indeed, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.''

She slowly lifted her eyes, hesitated for a moment, and asked,

''Before I tell you… you must answer me one question honestly.''

Alaric blinked a few times and nodded. Sure—if it was the price to pay for finding Phyllis's weakness, he would do it. Yet his expression showed confusion after hearing the question.

''You told me I'm beautiful, right? Is that a lie?''

Silence.

''Uh… that's all you want to ask?'' Alaric scratched his head. Dana just nodded after a moment. He sighed.

''I already told the truth in my heart… You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my whole life. For me, no girl in the world could be compare, even if she had a little scar.''

Dana just felt unbelievable, even though she had heard it twice from him, because she herself had known the truth through the mirror. Her face was nothing but the hideous face of an ugly devil.

However, she didn't hate it...at least, because her curse had helped her, more or less. Most people wanted to avoid her, which really suited an introvert like her. And more importantly, it had an effect—making anyone who saw her face nauseous and vomit. It was a big advantage in a fight that she could exploit… except for that slave.

She needed to know whether he was lying or not. Just like that, she could learn more about the traits of her curse. Why couldn't that slave feel nauseous seeing her face?

A bold thought burst into her mind, even making her feel embarrassed.

"Prove it. Kiss me."

Silence.

Alaric wasn't sure if he had heard her right. He asked, uncertain:

"Uhm… What did you just say?"

"Prove it. Kiss me."

"Can we do that stuff for resting time, or somewhere private?"

"No… unless you're lying."

"Ehm… So I won't hold back… Hope you don't regret it."

Without hesitation, Alaric stepped toward Dana, holding her hands, bewildering everyone around.

Damn! His heartbeat was racing as he embraced her. Feeling her soft body through the thin clothes, he gulped… uhm… Perhaps this was the happy feeling of a virgin boy embracing a girl first time, instead of the shaking and nausea of hugging a boy.

In the stance to kiss her, he asked again with a uncertain voice:

"You sure you won't regret this?"

Dana just stared at him with emotionless eyes, not saying a word, as if daring him to prove it right now. Indeed, it irritated him and destroyed his hesitation. He wanted to devour her lips, dragging his humiliation downhill.

"So, I won't hesitate… Either way, I suppose I won't get a second chance with a beautiful girl."

However, as soon as his lips touched Dana's red lips, she pushed him away with some force.

Alaric stumbled a few steps before regaining his balance. He clicked his tongue while scratching the back of his head.

"I already warned you in advance, didn't I?"

Dana managed to hide her embarrassment by thinking about her curse and Alaric's previous words. Soon, she had forgotten the kiss and came to a conclusion: Alaric didn't lie, and somehow, he was barely affected by her curse.

It made her think two possibilities:

One: Alaric possessed a blessing capable of negating a God's curse—but that was impossible, as God's curse was too strong.

So she finally predicted: Alaric couldn't distinguish ugly from beautiful… or worse, that slave loved her maniacally, willing to ignore her hideous face.

Either way, she had no idea if it was good or bad… Perhaps time would answer that question.

"Listen carefully: I'll say it just once."

"That muscular bitch has no weakness in terms of combat style. Despite being quick-tempered, she's not reckless."

"However… she has some bad, hated traits," she added.

"She's a perverted sadist, always tormenting prey weaker than her like a toy until they give up. And I have advice for you to get out of such a situation: let's provoke her… she hates being mocked or looked down on by prey. If that happens, she will defeat you right away… even if it hurts you."

Silence.

Alaric's face twisted as Dana spoke… this battle, indeed, seemed hopeless for him.
