"Enemy spotted, Master!" Crow roared.

"Do not fight it, Crow! Move out now!" The black cat meowed.

Crow was only a level five wraith. No matter how strong he was from the usual wraith, he would be no match for it alone.

That wraith was level 10 or even reaching Rank 2. Crow turned into a strip in the shadow and dashed through the wall.

The fish wraith clawed into the wall. Its sharp claws tore the metal out like paper. It grabbed Crow at the throat and tore him out of the wall.

Crow summoned a Nether Spear and drove the spear into the wraith's abdomen. Dark veins appeared on the wraith's body. But they disappeared just as quickly.

"How?" Crow's white eyes widened a little.

"Hehehe."

The fish wraith lifted him higher than delivered a strike right in his chest. Crow was sent flying and slammed on the metal wall. White blood leaked out from his chest. A giant hole was created.

Chaos Spheres rolled around his chest, filling up the open wound.

"This thing is not weak, Master."

Crow seeped under the wall and went straight out to Onoke Lake. The fish wraith followed him.

It bashed through the wall and jumped into the water. Its feet turned into a fish tail and swam upward, chasing after Crow.

Crow turned into a swordfish. He turned into a purple streak in the water with Abyssal Dash and out ran the fish wraith.

Crow jumped off the water surface and turned back into a bird. He flapped his wings to get higher.

The fish wraith was only a little bit slower than him. It emerged from the water surface and grabbed Crow's small bird leg.

"Caught you!" The fish wraith opened its wide jaw.

Two Nether Spheres slammed on the fish's body, driving it away from Crow.

The shadow bird flew higher, getting out of the wraith's range.

The fish wraith grabbed the two Nether Spheres that were digging on its skin and threw them away. The dark veins on its skin quickly dissolved.

Its head emerged on the water surface looking at the cat in the sky.

"Use your ultimate spell, Aurora." Mater meowed.

Aurora jumped to the lake. She turned into a skeletal white elk. Cold air spread from her and instantly turned the water surface into ice.

Aurora landed on the frozen water surface.

"You two, Crow. Summon the spider and use Nether Web. I want that thing out of the water." Mater meowed.

Crow turned back into his humanoid form and landed on the freezing ice. He held his hands together. The shadow beneath him extended behind him and turned into a giant shadow spider.

The spider emerged from the ice surface. A black widow that was no smaller than Bash.

The black widow shot out a long string of purple web that hit the fish wraith under the water.

The spider flung its head, pulling the fish wraith out of the water.

The wraith grabbed the purple web and pulled back, resisting the spider.

Mater opened his small cat paw and summoned a small black sphere. He threw it into the water. A giant sphere of darkness erupted.

Crow covered his eyes with his forearms to avoid being blinded. Aurora closed her eyes.

The fish wraith turned blind for a few seconds, which made its hold on the purple web loosen, allowing the spider to pull it out of the water.

Aurora's Glacial Elk had a limited range. Only one quarter of the lake was frozen. The remaining part wasn't.

The fish wraith landed on the frozen area of the lake.

"Come, my children! Kill that wraith!"

The black cat raised its two paws. Three balls of water jumped out of the water and turned into identical black cats.

Mater assigned a different spell for each of the clones. One had Chains of Shadow. One had Nether Shot. The last one had Force Dome.

The clone immediately used Chains of Shadow to restrain the fish wraith. Shadow on the ice surface reached out and formed black chains that held it in place.

Mater and the other clone started to blast Nether Spheres at it.

The fish wraith stood up from the ice and tore the black chains apart. It slapped the Nether Spheres away. Those purple spheres carved out many holes on the ice surface.

The fish wraith opened its mouth wide and then lowered its body. Its fish tail had long disappeared after it went out of the water. Now its legs grew longer and turned into cat-like feet. Or more precisely, the feet of a leopard.

A line of gills rose up on its back. Its body contorted and twisted until its body structure changed into a four-legged animal. The fish wraith turned into a blur.

It appeared right before a clone and reached its hand out to grab.

Clear ice emerged and encased it in an ice coffin.

The clear ice touched its body and immediately spread the grayness of death.

The gills on its back peeled off and turned into spikes. The wraith curled into a ball and spun in place. It slammed onto the ice coffin and broke itself out.

The gray on its body slowly dissipated away.

"This thing can heal itself pretty well." Mater squinted his cat eyes.

He flew a little away from Aurora and Crow but was still in the radius of the fish wraith.

Crow's noise echoed from the throat of the black cat. However, the fish wraith didn't even have a reaction. It was completely immune to Crow's Call.

The fish wraith spotted the glimmering white elk. It turned into a ball of spikes again and rushed at Aurora.

The elk turned back and ran to the shore. But her speed was no match for the wraith. The ball of spikes dashed through the ice surface and was supposed to hit Aurora.

Bash charged forward, ramming his hard body against the spiky ball, flinging it to the shore.

Black spikes pierced into Bash's skin but he just shrugged it off. The Infernal Demon pulled those spikes out without hesitation.

The wraith was burned by hellfire and it screamed in pain.

Mater flew closer to the wraith and raised his paw. "Hellfire Pit!"

An orange circle appeared around the fish wraith. A wall of hellfire emerged and burned it.

Hellfire seemed effective the most. The wraith's scream quickly calmed down. It transformed again.

The wraith slammed on the ground, destroying the fire pit. The burn marks on its body disappeared and the flame was extinguished.

Now the wraith was several times bigger than before with a wide frame. It had two huge arms like a gorilla and was no shorter than Bash.

It and Bash looked at each other.

"Bash kills!" Bash tapped his chest and charged at the wraith.

The wraith tapped its chest also and rushed at Bash. The two of them collided at each other, sending a huge shockwave that flung Aurora a few meters in the air.
