CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror

Chapter 110: Demonic Arsenal

Selina went past Mikey the security guard. He stood up and looked after her.

"I wonder where she went the last few days."

Mikey sat back down and continued hogging his phone.

Selina parked the motorcycle and took off her helmet. Her long black hair flopped down naturally. She picked up Mater and the two of them quickly went back to her apartment.

"Home sweet home." Selina fell on the bed and made a snow angel on the sheet with her arms.

Mater called upon Crow and Aurora out of the book.

"Watch the place from the sky, Crow." The black cat meowed.

"Yes, Master!" Crow turned into a bird and flew out of the window.

"Guard the place, Aurora. Don't let anyone disturb me."

"As you wish, Master."

Selina was tired after the long journey. She was already having a nap, leaving Mater to do as he liked.

Mater opened his mouth and vomited out the pocket watch and the metal device.

The pocket watch was given to him by the female ghost.

The metal device was what Samuel used to achieve his transformation.

"I was thinking what kind of Demonic Items are suitable for a cat. Armor? Gauntlet? Sword? Or maybe even the firearms of this world.

But it doesn't seem right to me. I need something that can be company with this small black cat.

A cat's main weapons are its speed, its claws, and its teeth. No matter which aspect I focus on, there is still one big weakness. Its size.

A cat is too small. But Samuel gave me an idea. What if… I transform into a black jaguar?"

The cat lifted its head high and breathed in deeply. It stood up on its two hind legs while its front legs opened wide like embracing arms.

"Constructing Demonic Arsenal!"

All the Chaos in his body flooded out and formed a red sphere in between his paws. He didn't use the spared Chaos Spheres as they were useful for other things.

Mater used his own Chaos, the Well of 5,000 Rank-1 Chaos Point. His Chaos Well could replenish itself over time so there's no reason to avoid using it.

2,000 Chaos Point disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Darkness covered the entire sky and a storm surged without any warning. Lightning struck non-stop. Thunder filled the air, ringing the ears of the listeners.

In the middle of the dark clouds, all the clouds turned red. It was as if a gate to hell was opening.

Alister was investigating a scene when the red gate appeared in the sky. He took out a cigarette and lit it up.

"More random shit!" Alister mumbled.

His phone suddenly rang. It was the noise of a message. He took it off and saw that the Atlas Seven and Obscure Association wanted to meet him.

"These vultures surely are fast. This is related to Selina."

Alister took a deep puff from his cigarette. "Don't worry, Iris. I will protect your daughter when you aren't here."

Levy Zakharov, the grandson of the most powerful elderly man in Aeliz City, was sitting inside a jail cell under his grandfather's house. Countless cockroaches and centipedes were digging into his skin.

Levy bit his lips to hold in the disgust and pain.

Outside the jail cell was his grandfather, Mikael Zakharov.

"Breathe and take in the power of house Zakharov. With this, you should be more than capable of commanding those spirits." The old man said. His voice echoed through the space like whispers.

"I will not fail you, grandfather." Levy tried his best to stay awake.

"Oh. But you already did."

Suddenly, Mikael snapped his head upward. "Someone… Something is being born!"

Levy wanted to ask what was happening but he didn't have any strength left to be distracted.

Mikael turned back to Levy. "We have learned the identity of that girl. The one that messed with your toys.

Selina Isles."

Levy widened his eyes in surprise. Then they were filled with cruelty and rage.

"I. Will. Kill. Her."

Mikael shook his head. "Not quite. She is not a nobody. Her mother is a PHANTOM. That PHANTOM is missing now but their presence still lingers.

The girl is going to the Institute soon. You will have your chance to humiliate her there. In front of everyone. But hear me, DO NOT try anything under the table. It will lead to unwanted consequences."

Levy smiled. He had another idea in mind. 'Why wait? I will deal with her tonight.'

The clouds above Aeliz City disappeared. In front of Mater was a small red sphere of pocket dimension. It was his personal Demonic Arsenal. At the moment, it could only hold three items.

The red sphere seeped beneath his fur and fused into his body.

Creating the Arsenal was only the first step and it already cost Mater 2,000 Chaos Points. Now he had to waste another 1,000 Points to make the Demonic Item.

"Come to daddy!" Mater opened his mouth and swallowed the pocket watch and the metal device.

He didn't store it inside his body but sent them straight into the Demonic Arsenal. His Chaos flooded inside the pocket space and forged the two items into one.

The storm and red clouds had just disappeared not long ago but another phenomenon already showed up.

"Again?" Alister looked to the sky.

This time it was acidic rain. The rain wasn't that harmful and caused people to burn. It only tasted a little bit sour. All the media channels were delivering the news of this 'lemonade' rain.

Some linked it to some sort of climate change. Some said it was because of government experiments. A few conspiracy theories popped up on the internet.

Once Mater finished, the pocket watch and the metal device had fused into… a hand watch.

Because Mater was a cat, he made a few adjustments so that he could wear it on the upper thigh of his legs.

"I ain't making a collar." Mater made himself very clear when making the Item. Collar was a sign of ownership. This cat belonged to no one.

Only someone could belong to it.

Mater raised his left front left up. The new Demonic Watch appeared on his small cat thigh and wrapped around it.

"Now let's see what your powers are…"
